Just 15 minutes stroll down through the olive groves, past the castle brings you to the historic centre of Arco, which has an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants, gelaterie and outdoor adventure sports shops. The perfect base for local adventure activities - rock climbing/bouldering & via ferrata, mountain biking, trail running, trekking and mountaineering, watersports and many other group/family activities at all levels. The property is 10 minutes drive from the shores of Lake Garda, and well located for a cultural or gastronomic tour of the region including the surrounding cities of Milan, Verona & Venice. Arco provides easy access for excursions into the wider Italian Lakes, the Dolomites & the Alps. This property offers free parking and secure storage for sports equipment and bikes with charging point, and is fully equipped for your stay throughout the year. We provide a complimentary welcome breakfast pack on arrival, which contains local produce for you to enjoy during your stay.

After reading all the great reviews, we were really looking forward to a top-notch experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us.The apartment itself is neat and clean and the breakfast package is delicious. But the listing and photos show a bathtub. However, we were told by the housekeeper that the plug for the bathtub was missing, meaning that the bath cannot actually be used (other than for taking a shower). A bigger problem than the bath were the very noisy downstairs neighbours, including daughters who frequently made loud video calls. The apartment has a beautiful, spacious balcony with a stunning view, but if there’s constant noise, it’s difficult to fully enjoy the “mountain spirit”. The neighbours have two dogs, which were even taken outside at 3 a.m., causing the bright lights in their garden, directly underneath the bedroom, to switch on. We’ve definitely slept better than here. All in all, given the price, we did not feel this was a 10/10 experience. For us, it was more of a 7/10.

Excellent accomodation and surrounding!

The place exceeded all of our expectations - magnificent view to mountains, plus close to Arco and very quiet. Great starting point to explore surrounding. Rooms were clean and equipped with all neccessary stuffs.

Highly recommend

Darren is a wonderful host. A welcome pack was provided for us on our arrival and his communication throughout our stay was excellent. The apartment is lovely with all the facilities you could wish for. It is a 15 minute walk into Arco with its many bars and restaurants. It is a steep climb back up the hill so if you aren't fit when you arrive you will be by the end of your holiday! However the location on the hill make for stunning views. We loved it.

Lovely apartment - highly recommend.

The apartment was lovely, well equipped with beautiful views over the mountain. We’d recommend using what3words as Google took us the wrong way. Everything you need is there plus little extras like books and local tourist guides. Clare and Darren were very helpful, they clearly love the local area and were happy to provide recommendations. They left a lovely little arrival gift and gave a tour. Arco is lovely and a fairly short walk although quite a steep hill! Loads of restaurants and often random evening entertainment such as bands and acrobatics in the square and up at the castle. There is lots to do around Lake Garda, we ended up paying for parking most days which is around €12. We choose a “difficult” via Ferrata near lake Garda which had the most amazing views, the climbing wasn’t difficult but the amount of walking was a lot. Darren and Clare sent a link to hire equipment which is about €15 a day. We also took a day trip to Venice which was 2-3 hour drive. Other people described the apartment as quiet, we found the neighbours were almost always out on balcony’s and in the gardens, there were two afternoon/evening dinner parties while we where there. Lots of dogs barking. Beautiful views of the mountain but it is in an apartment block so not always peaceful. Overall would we would highly recommend staying here!

Eine sehr schöne und bequeme Wohnung mit einem tollen Ausblick in die Bergwelt und der Ruhe, die wir gesucht haben. Nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Gefreut haben wir uns auch über das Überraschungs-Frühstückspaket mit einer Flasche Sekt zu unserer Ankunft :) Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Arco verbringen dürfen. Vom Apartment aus läuft man gut 15 -20 Minuten hinunter in die Stadt Arco. Die Burg ist ca. 20 Minuten fußläufig entfernt und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Von unserem Appartement aus haben wir viele weitere Touren mit dem Auto unternommen (z.B. Lazise, Limone, Verona, Malcesine). Darren und Clare waren super nette, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sie haben uns viele Tipps gegeben, was wir unternehmen könnten und haben schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Die Ankunft und Abreise verlief total unkompliziert. Das Apartment ist in einem sehr gut gepflegten und sauberen Zustand. Man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Außerdem hat man vom Balkon aus einen wunderschönen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und Olivenhaine. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft :)

Ruhiger Urlaub mit tollem Ausblick

Das Appartement liegt 15 Min. nördlich von Arco (zu Fuß!) unterhalb des Croce Colodri gleich neben dem Kirchlein Santa Maria di Laghel. Vom Wohnzimmerfenster und der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick in die Berge nach Norden. Die Wohnung ist gut und großzügig ausgestattet. Alle nötigen Utensilien zum Kochen sind vorhanden. Sollte es einmal regnen, fühlt man sich in dem geräumigen Appartement sehr wohl. Es gibt eine Betreuung vor Ort, die sich um alles zuverlässig kümmert.

Toll gelegenes Apartment mit atemberaubendem Ausblick

Informative Begrüßung, gut eingerichtetes, gemütliches und sauberes Apartment in einer sehr gepflegten Wohn-Anlage inmitten der traumhaften Natur. Toll fanden wir die Garage für unser Motorrad und den zusätzlichen Stellplatz für das Auto. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch die gute und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Einfach ein perfekter Urlaub für alle, die gerne aktiv sind und die Natur lieben!

Sehr geschmackvolles Apartment in traumhaft ruhiger Lage

Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Betreuung durch die Vermieter, sehr durchdachte und gut ausgestattete Wohnung und Küche, besonders haben wir die grosse Terrasse mit Blick auf die Berge genossen. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Dorf Arco, dadurch wunderbar ruhig mitten in der Natur. Eine der besten Wohnungen die wir je hatten.

Fijne week in appartement Mountain Spirit

In de laatste week van juli 2022 hebben mijn vrouw en ik een hele fijne week gehad in appartement Mountain Spirit. We hadden vooraf al contact met de verhuurder en hebben tips gekregen over de omgeving. De ontvangst was perfect, we werden buiten opgewacht en kregen direct uitleg over het appartement. Er stond een mooi en praktisch welkom-cadeau klaar, erg aardig. Het appartement is ruim voor 2 personen, het geeft veel privacy en een prachtige blik op de bergen, door de tuin hebben we zelfs een paar keer 2 herten zien lopen. In de omgeving is veel te beleven, je kunt de drukte opzoeken maar jezelf ook weer heerlijk terugtrekken in de rust van "Mountain Spirit". Een aanrader voor mensen die van rust en ruimte houden en graag persoonlijk geholpen willen worden. Het was een top-week!

Top Fewo - Top Lage

Ein toller Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen und sauberen Wohnung: Die Ausstattung ist mit viel Geschmack ausgewählt und wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl dort gefühlt. Die fantastische Aussicht von der großen Terrasse, ebenso wie die wundervolle Natur in der Umgebung, haben uns sehr beeindruckt. Besonders erfreulich war die Begegnung mit den beiden Eigentümern Clare und Darren. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Gastfreundlichkeit haben den Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert. Für alle Urlauber, die sich gerne bewegen, gibt es hier zahlreiche Aktivitäten. Wir waren besonders angenehm überrascht über die zahlreichen, gut ausgebauten Radwege in den Tälern und Bergen, die sich für E- und Moutain-Bikes sehr gut eignen. Heerlijke plek om bij te komen

We hebben genoten tijdens ons verblijf in Laghel! Het appartement is netjes, goed uitgerust en is prima bereikbaar via een smalle weg vanuit Arco. Je hebt de beschikking over een ruim balkon met een magnifiek uitzicht op de bergen. ‘s Ochtends word je heerlijk rustig wakker: het enige wat je hoort zijn krekels. Wil je overnachten vlakbij bij het Gardameer en geen drukte om je heen dan is dit je plek!!! Het contact met Darren en Clare verliep zeer goed; het zijn bijzonder aardige mensen!

Excellent accommondation and surrounded landscape

It was a very relaxing stay for us in this excellent holiday flat. The internet description corresponds to the real conditions. Regarding the interior it is well equipped in a clear design and all was clean and in new condition (we only missed a teapot :-)). The up- and downhill road could be a bit challanging in the beginning of the stay. But it will become quickly easier after the first experience. I personally love it to drive in the mountains and injoyed it :-). Many thanks to Clare and Darren that we were allowed to stay in their great holiday flat an can give a high recommendation for booking.

Tolle Terrasse und super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung!

Die Ferienwohnung ist super, da sie gut ausgestattet und modern eingerichtet ist. Der Weg zum Apartment ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da es mit dem Auto durch recht enge und schlecht einsehbare Straßen geht. Dafür entschädigt aber der Ausblick von der Terrasse in jedem Fall, es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Wenn man von der Wohnung aus gern wandern oder klettern gehen will, dann ist die Lage perfekt. Mit dem Auto ist man aber auch schnell in Arco und auch in Riva. Insgesamt eine tolle Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Lage, die wir gerne nochmal besuchen werden.

Wonderful Terrace

We really enjoyed our week in this property. It is very clean and well appointed. We especially liked the terrace which has wonderful views of the surrounding hills. There were two comfortable loungers and a table and chairs so we spent quite a lot of time on the terrace, eating all of our meals out there. We spent a lovely day in Verona. It took about an hour to drive there and parking was easy in one of the many car parks surrounding the outskirts of the city. We also spent time walking and climbing Via Ferrata, including Cima Capi and Cima Sat. Exceptional climbs for which you do need ferrata kit. It was lovely to drive into Arco in the evenings for a drink or gelato and to do some people watching.

Modern appartment with killer views up the valley

Darren's appartment is a great choice for visitors to north lake Garda. Comfortable, modern and well equipped. Great wine glasses and good knives.... two signs of a good rental... and this flat has both! We liked Arco very much with its youthful vibe compared to many of the lakeside towns like Riva, which are well, a bit middle aged. A super base for hiking, water sport and climbing. Great !

Der Weg/ die Straße zu und von der Ferienwohnung ist allerdings mit sehr viel Steigung verbunden, was uns nicht gestört hat, aber nicht jedermanns Sache ist. Die Terrasse hat, je nach Jahreszeit, erst ab mittags Sonne (Nordwestseite), im April verschwindet die Sonne gegen 18 Uhr hinter dem Berg.
