Incredible views and lovely place to stay if visiting Stephenville. Our group stayed for Tarleton parents weekend and had the best time enjoying the game room and wide open spaces. Kitchen has everything you need for big family dinners. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot to Relax & View the Total Solar Eclipse

We rented the VRBO at 3 Shy Ranch to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city with hopes of viewing the total solar eclipse. The property was perfect for our small group to sit outside, BBQ, see the stars and view the eclipse. The property provides amazing sunrises and sunsets and has a collection of animals that add to the rustic charm of the place! A great place to get away!

The house was clean and set up perfectly. It had plenty of room for people at our daughterā€™s graduation party from Tarleton. Most amazing sunset and view of the stars. Plus the miniature donkeys were adorable. The homeowners were super responsive and helpful!

Graduation Party

We rented the location for my son's graduation party from Tarleton. It is in a very rural area, away from the big city which we liked very much. The owners were very easy to communicate with, the place was very clean and accommodating. Upon arrival Mike took us on a tour of the building showing us where everything was and explained the property. On Thursday nights the owner host a training session where some of the locals train their dogs to heard cattle. We spoke with them for over 2 hours, super nice people and very entertaining! We extremely enjoyed our stay!

Great facilities

We enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful ranch had some good accommodations. Towels were provided and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware and such. We were very lucky that all twelve of our guys didnā€™t show up. The listing says it will sleep 20. There are a total of 6 beds and a roll- away. One king, one queen, and four bunk beds. This means with the 8 men we had there, one had to sleep on the couch. Even if there were two couples, this place could only sleep a maximum of 10 IF one still slept on the couch. It IS a nice place; however, the listing is woefully incorrect. We will have to find another place next year and will know what questions to ask before we book.

Wish We Had More Timeā€¦..

Our getaway was wonderful - we were there for Tarleton Family Weekend and just wish we had more time there! We fed the donkey and horse and saw the cows, goats and chickens! We would love to return when the weather is cooler so we can enjoy the outdoor property even more! Wonderful home and they thought of everything! Will be back!

Great family get-away! We met for granddaughters graduation!

College Graduation Weekend

Perfect place for a large group of people who enjoy the outdoors. So many fun games to play for old and young! We watched the NFR all weekend on the Big Screens and played pool non stop. The house is large and spacious and we had fun admiring all the decor! We can't wait to come back!

We loved this place!!

This house was amazing. Had so many games and things to do as well as plenty of space to hang out. The AC struggled to keep the house cool but they do have fans in almost every room. Itā€™s hard to control this Texas heat!! Other than that it was a fantastic experience and we will be back!!

We would stay here again in a heartbeat. This property has a rustic, chill vibe. We loved sitting on the front porch around the fire pit, chatting, swinging, playing on see-saw, visiting the horses, etc. This is a place where you can breath easy, relax. There were a few things that were disappointing but didn't take away from the charm too much. Because of COVID, we were really counting on that barn door opening, so we would have a well ventilated place to hang out. It was jammed. They did try to fix it while we were there though, and we appreciate that! We washed all the the silverware before use b/c that drawer was quite grimy. And if you plan on playing pool, bring your own cues b/c the ones in the game-room/bar area were pretty busted. Overall, a wonderful place to gather with friends and family.
