Great location with canoeing, swimming, fishing and savory
views of Green Mountain right in your backyard. 

There is a 3 night min. , sleeps four comfortably,
Two Bedroom ( Queen beds in each).
10 Minutes to the Hood Canal, 35 minutes to the Bremerton / Seattle ferry

Kings Cove has a NO INDOOR SMOKING policy.

T.V available for streaming NO CABLE , Movies on site.

Well behaved dogs may be considered, however, NO Sir Bark A lots!!!

Relaxing retreat

We really enjoyed ourselves!! Booking and communication was seamless. Accommodations were exactly as portrayed online. The house was incredibly stocked with all the extras that made it like staying in a friend's home. Sugar, flour, spices, muffin papers, detergent, lots of clean towels, plenty of wood for the fire pit, etc. The lake view was beautiful and the space by the lake was perfect!! Incredible landscaping as well.

Perfect quiet getaway

Beautiful, quiet retreat home on Lake Tahuyeh. Communication with host was excellent, check in and out process seamless, kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds, very clean, wonderful deck and sitting space by water. Kids loved to play and we had a wonderful canoe trip on the lake. 10-15 min to larger towns like Seabeck or Belfair while Bremerton is about 25 min drive. Lots of great hiking trails (kid friendly) close by as well. Overall, we had a wonderful relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend.

For older adults

Beautiful place. Loved the lake. They are very accommodating. One of the stove burners is still not working. Need grab bars for the shower/tub. The deck has many levels. We were told of that but for older people it can be challenging.

Graduation visit

Our grandson graduated from high school. My husband, father and myself booked this beautiful home to stay in while in the Bremerton area for the Graduation and visiting with family. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The lake view from the deck is very relaxing. Host was very accomodating with the needs if my 94 year old dad and provided a shower shower as requested. Saftey is very important to her. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful vacation home. Looking forward to another stay. Diana

Best Described as Serene

We absolutely loved this cottage and would recommend it to anyone interested in a quiet, beautiful home, surrounded by nature at its finest, overlooking a peaceful lake. The two-bedroom rental was perfect for our daughter and us, with its decks, private beach area, available canoe and kayak, and proximity to wonderful trailheads (get a Discover Pass first) and state parks. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with nice touches like fresh flowers, fruit, juice, and tasty banana bread waiting for us when we arrived. The owner's regard for the quality of their renter's stay is obvious, and one feels this is a home, rather than just a place to stay. Our daughter caught her first fish using provided rod and tackle, making for a very memorable day for all of us. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

About the house: Very clean, cute, cozy, neat, practical, organized, small charming details, has everything you need, had things we forgot. Comfortable beds. Felt like home. About the lake: Well matained yard/gardens. Not fully fenced. Quiet neighborhood, even on 4th of July. Very Private. Clean lake. Water toys. Fire pit. Nice lawn chair set. Downfall is only that the sun doesnt shine on the beach area past 11am. Trees block rest of day. So it can get a bit chilly trying to swim late afternoon. We cant wait to come back!

Secret Jewel of the Bremerton area.

This gem of a house is an absolute stunner! The owner pays attention to every detail to make sure you are comfortable and happy. We arrived to a spotlessly clean house full of lush, freshly cut flowers and all the fixings for breakfast and coffee for the next day. The beds are comfortable, the living room is spacious with a comfy sectional, big screen tv with Netflix and many DVDs, and there is a large main deck and a smaller lower deck with spectacular views. The grounds are full of interesting plants, statuary, and fountains with many viewpoints of the lovely Lake Tahuyeh. We just walked out the door and down the lawn right into the lake. We love this property and the owner! My daughters were thrilled with the use of the canoe and kayak, and the fact we could bring the dogs. Sharol was charming and lives next door so we felt secure; that if we needed anything she was just a phone call away. Frodo the dog visited a couple of times which my family (dogs included) just loved. The peace, quiet and beauty were just what we needed. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful little cabin! We didn't want to leave and we can't wait to return.

Relaxing weekend in the lake

Spent the long weekend relaxing. Enjoyed the view from the deck and paddling in the kayak. Note the other house are close so when the neighbors are entertaining you will hear it.

Home is beautiful

The home is a lovely space. Comfy beds, black out curtains. It is a neighborhood and people drive directly in front of home and many leave dogs out unattended, so there can be some barking. That said if you have a child or you who loves to swim and you enjoy morning coffee on the deck. This is the place for you

Great week at the lake

My family of four had a great stay at King’s Cove. We were very pleased overall with the cozy and well kept house on the lake. The kids enjoyed fishing and taking the canoe out on the water. The single bathroom was a bit of an inconvenience but we knew that going in. There are nice views of the lake from multiple decks. The gardens are beautiful. Just a great stay.

Cozy cottage on the lake

This cottage was well appointed, cozy, and clean with a lovely garden right on the lake. The hosts were helpful and responsive, and we enjoyed tranquility of the space.

Nice place but..

The device they use for streaming is antiquated and would lock up completely. I was not able to use it at all. The main burner on the stove did not function. The washer would not spin to ring it cloths even after running multiple spin cycles. Other than that it's exactly as pictured. I took my dogs with me but wasn't informed until after I has locked in that they are not allowed on the furniture. I feel like that should have been more upfront in the ad. The area was super quiet and the view was very relaxing. The decor was a bit much for my taste but to each their own. I'm only giving it a 3 because of all of the things that weren't functioning.

Perfect Place

This lovely home was just perfect for my stay. I loved it! Everything was soft, warm, comfortable and clean. The way it was decorated was just beautiful with such care in the details. There were real, fresh, white roses in every room - such a nice touch that I appreciated very much. I felt safe and relaxed in this cozy home. The beds were very comfortable with loads of pillows, the couch was comfortable with many throw blankets and the bathroom had plenty of plush towels. The outside was so very peaceful with a grassy slope that led to the shore of the quiet and tranquil lake. I very much enjoyed my stay and definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Lovely lake view

I stayed most of a month here while waiting for our house nearby to be finished. It was quiet, comfortable, and well-stocked. The lake was lovely, and my dog loved watching the ducks and geese on it.

Too loud for myself and especially my dog.

We ended up staying only for one night. Less than 24 hours because of the noise. My dog was panting in the bathroom for hours straight because of all the loud noises. One sounded like firecrackers and went on for hours. It is right next to the street and there are a lot of trucks and motorcycles in the neighborhood. Sound just reverbs through the lake. It is a beautiful place and when the noise is not bad it was nice. The property is beautiful and fun to walk around and see the neat stuff she has everywhere. She was really nice and when I was having issues finding the WiFi she got back to me quick. Unfortunately the WiFi went out a few times too. Was scheduled for 3 nights 4 days but like I said only there for less than 24 hours. Oh I love the chi shampoo, and the candles.

Such a relaxing place

This is our third year in a row staying at King’s Cove. So many good times, from fishing and swimming. The house is perfect for a family of 4. We love our family tradition of staying here!

Perfect Lake Cabin

The house was cozy and clean and the lake was the perfect temperature. We especially appreciated the generous stocking of the kitchen with coffee and other necessities!

Beautiful lake escape

We spent a fantastic 3+ months of the summer at Sharol and Ron's lake house this spring/summer. Everything from the easy check-in, comfortable setup, location on the water and friendly neighbors made for a great environment to work remotely during our stay. On the rare occasions we had an issue Ron/Sharol (they live right next door) were super responsive and even helped us out in a bind when we forgot to leave a key for our dogsitters! The house itself is compact and cosy, with a great deck with chairs and a table to enjoy an evening dinner or just sit and relax. Some of our favorite memories over the summer were sitting down at the lake roasting s'mores at the fire pit or enjoying the stunning garden (the rhododendrons are something to behold in the spring!). This was a great spot to base ourselves to explore the best that Washington has to offer and we'd love to come back some time.

Beautiful lake getaway

Beautiful lake, cute property. Our dog loved all the ducks, fishing was fun. We had a bonfire down by the water at night and it was so much fun just relaxing. Wifi was good enough to have multiple people connected for work at the same time. Owners were responsive and placed fresh flowers for our visit which was very sweet. Only downside was the oven runs hot so we burnt our Brussels sprouts the first night.
