King side bed and professionally fitted bedroom furniture. Bathroom with double walk in shower. Kitchen containing a full range of modern units, built in oven, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. Outside Patio and seating area. Off road parking.

Wonderful location, cottage, and hosts!

We loved every minute of our stay at Jean and George's cozy retreat. Beautiful backyard, attractively furnished, and Jean and George, as hosts, are the best. Hospitality at its finest!

Delightful getaway

Perfect location for getting acquainted with the charm of York as well as the dales, moors, and coast. After exploring, we came “home” to every restful comfort and convenience we could want. Gracious and personable hosts always available.

Fantastic week near York

The Annex is spotless and has everything you could want. Jean and George were very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. The location is great for exploring York and its surrounds. The garden is beautiful and peaceful to sit in. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit the area.

The place was very clean, and Jean, the host, was ready with any questions we had. With her recommendation, we utilized the Park and Ride just down the road for the two days we went into York. It was the perfect place for a break in driving from Scotland and we thoroughly enjoyed both the place and the host... she was very friendly and helpful. The stay was excellent with lovely hosts. The annex provided the perfect base for us to explore the area. Modern and very well prepared, the kitchen and bathroom were ideal for the two of us. The bedroom/sitting room was comfortable and allowed us to relax when not out and about. The garden is lovely with a nice view across to the fields. Recommended to any couple wanting to see York, Harrogate, Whitby et al...

Excellent stay at Dunnington

Our hosts, Jean & George, made us welcome to their spotlessly clean, comfortable accommodation. An unexpected touch was a large bowl of fruit and bottle of wine. The only small concern was that the internet was sometimes unreliable but Jean reassured us that they are trying to address this issue.

Fabulous self contained accommodation

Absolutely superb accommodation, immaculate , quiet, peaceful, overlooking a beautiful garden setting. Jean and George are lovely, kind hosts. The best self contained accommodation we have had the pleasure of staying in, on our UK holiday. Close proximity to Grimston Park and Ride, if you want to go to York. What could be better?!

The annexe was beautifully clean - carpet in the main area rather than the hard flooring that many properties have these days - (although I understand why as it's probably easier to clean than carpet) however, that made it very cosy & so warm. Everything was lovely, I can't think of anything that was missing, the attention to detail was 1st class. Jean, George & not forgetting Buddy -were lovely hosts, available if you needed anything but not intrusive. If I'm up that way again for any reason, I'd love to visit again

Warm and pleasant annexe, very clean and welcoming. It's very handy for the East side of York, easy to get into the town and handy for a trip to Brid and Scarborough.

Excellent!! Nothing else I can say!

Second visit to the Annexe and once again, everything was perfect. Incredibly clean, everything you need is supplied, direct access to the garden. Jean is on hand if you need anything. The annexe is very close to York and the park and ride is superb. We visited the Christmas market which was really good. Thank you Jean, George & the lovely Meg 🐶 for a lovely relaxing stay despite the weather! We will definitely return.

Dunnington

A very comfortable property which was well laid out and tastefully decorated. Dunnington is an ideal base from which to explore York and the surrounding area. Our hosts provided a most acceptable welcome package which set us up for what was a very pleasant break.

Perfect!

I had a lovely week here. The annexe is very well equipped, incredibly clean and in amazing condition. The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa & chair. I stayed on my own with my dog and it was a perfect escape. Jean, George and of course, Meg the dog are lovely. They are on hand & don't interfere The garden is beautiful and although the weather was cold it was nice to sit outside. I highly recommend the annexe and will definitely return. Thank you Jean & George.

Wonderful Stay at The Annex

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at the Annex last month. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Dunnington is a beautiful village and the Annex is in a residential area, a short walk from the local shops, pub and bus routes. We took the number 10 bus into the centre of York, which only took 20 minutes. The hosts were on hand if we needed anything, but they were not obtrusive, We loved York and visited Robon Hoods Bay and Whitby while we were there. I would definitely stay at the Annex again.

Very impressed with our stay in "The Annex". Jean and George made us feel very welcome and Meg (their wee dog) was really friendly. Every room was spotless, the kitchen was very well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and we will definitely book with them in the future.

Most wonder Hosts. Jean, George and Meg.

This annexe is home from home. Has absolutely everything you could ask for, and superbly clean to a high standard. The garden is beautiful and you can relax out there at anytime. The owners were fabulous, greeted us on arrival and showed us around. Lovely gesture also was milk in the fridge, along side a lovely bottle of wine and a bowl of fresh fruit. Jean and George are always available if you have an issues or questions, but they also give you your own space which was great. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone for a getaway, and would definitely come again.

A comfortable place to stay.

We were very comfortable during our short stay in Dunnungton. The accommodation was in a great position for exploring York and the surrounding area. We found it very easy and convienient to use the local bus to visit York. I would be happy to stay here in the future.
