Amazing property with a fantastic outdoor area and swimming pool. The property is furnished beautifully and has plenty of utensils available in the kitchen. They also have a really good coffee machine and the bbq area was amazing! The hosts were so welcoming and Nino dropped croissants and produce from his allotment every morning. Sometimes tomatoes, figs and also blackberries! He is an absolute legend!

A wonderful experience. The villa itself is situated just a few minutes away from Alberobello and is stunning. Spacious rooms, a great outdoors area including an olive garden and a fantastic swimming pool. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, in fact I have never experienced such warmth and generosity before, always willing to help and even bring in fresh croissants every morning. Very much looking forward to coming back next year.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Apulia Relais for a week at the beginning of July. Communication about arrival and departure, and during our stay was good with the ownerā€™s family member who was fluent in English. Unfortunately we did not speak Italian although our Spanish speaking family member was able to talk to and understand the owner, the wonderful Vito. The home was very comfortable and all the basic necessities were provided in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms. Coffee and coffee maker were provided and appreciated. Some bottled water was provided and we found out later not to drink the tap water, but unsure if the taste was the issue or there was something else going on with the well water? The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and one was within Trulli, a unique building style only found in this area. Bedroom storage was decent; however the largest bedroom lacked a closet/wardrobe for full length clothing/dresses. There was an AC unit in each bedroom which we used because it was very hot during the time we stayed there. The 3 bathrooms had showers but no bathtubs, again storage was good. The shower water did tend to switch from warm to cold to hot which was uncomfortable at times. The outdoor space was very nice and well maintained. We did not use the grill or pizza oven but we did cook meals indoors and attempted to eat our evening meal in the covered patio area where there is a large dining table. However it was too hot with the sun beating down in

The perfect Puglian escape

We had high hopes of Apulia Relais from the photos and reviews, and the property exceeded all our expectations. The villa and Trullo are beautiful - lots of space, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The pool/outdoor area was amazing - such a fantastic setting - we really didnā€™t want to leave. The highlight though was the hospitality from our hosts, Giusy, Vittorio and especially Nino. They couldnā€™t have been more welcoming and helpful - with Nino treating us to daily croissants and veg from his garden, as well as homemade Spumante. We will definitely be back!

Unglaublich schƶne Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist in Wirklichkeit noch schƶner, als auf den Fotos. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Nino kam jeden Morgen mit Croissants und um den Pool zu reinigen. Nino und Giusy sind sehr tolle und sympathische Gastgeber und haben uns bei Ankunft alles in Ruhe gezeigt und interessante Infos zu dem Trullo gegeben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Amazing

House is warm and inviting and absolutely a gem. You will not want to leave the property for the beauty of the olive groves to the pool and outdoor area, but good news you are a short drive to many wonderful towns and beaches. Could not recommend a better home to stay while in area, spacious, clean and Nino who greets you with fresh pastries daily along with the host Giusy ready to assist and answer any questions on the area. A true delight and you will not want your vacation to end.

Driving up to this home was a dream. Although we arrived late, Nino & Giusy waited patiently for us. We were starving and Nino made us a feast of salami, olive oil, friselle and wine. And that was the beginning of daily gifts. Nino not only brought us fresh croissants every day, he also meticulously cleaned the pool and outdoor living area. Staying here was such a welcome respite from the fast paced, self centered NYC life. Because of the stone, we didnā€™t ever have to turn on the ac. The beds were comfy and we had more than enough space to stretch out as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids). The pool is glorious and the area with the jets is the cherry on top. I canā€™t say enough about these incredible hosts- Giusy, who communicates, and supports you with whatever you need and Nino, whose kindness is unmatched. Best start to our tour of Italy! We couldnā€™t have imagined a better home and better hosts. Truly a blessing.

Sensational Stay

We stayed in this villa with friends. Three couples all together and it was extremely comfortable. Plenty of room, great cooking facilities (including the use of the wood barbecue). The outdoor area was amazing and relaxing by the pool was enjoyed by all. We found the location perfect to explore Alberobello and other towns in the region. We had flight delays which made checking difficult but this was no problem for our hosts. Communication was fantastic and having Nino deliver fresh pastries and fruit from his garden every morning for breakfast greatly appreciated and was a standout extra by our amazing hosts. Everything was fantastic. A wonderful experience. I would stay here again and will be recommending to friends who wish to travel to the area. Jennie

A perfect family vacation!

Words cannot express how wonderful Giusy and Nino were as hosts to us during our two week stay! Always responsive to any questions, generous with gifts of breakfast, freshly picked fruit and vegetables from Ninoā€™s land, mozzarella made within an hour of its delivery for our lunch! All so generous and lovely. And the pool was enchanting for all the family, both for swimming and relaxing while watching the clouds skitter across the blue sky and the swallows skim across the pool surface. It is also perfectly situated for touring the towns in the Itria valley like Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Cisternino all of which we did in the evening when it is cooler and everyone is out and about. We were sad to leave and hope to return. Highly recommend!

Great Homebase to Enjoy Puglia

Very nice villa on a beautiful property not far from Alberobello. Enjoyed day trips to various Puglia towns and relaxing by the pool. Nino, one of the hosts, brought croissants every morning, homemade mozzarella, and figs and tomatoes from his garden. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing on all levels!

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the villa and cannot praise the villa, location and hosts enough! The villa is situated amongst beautiful olive trees in a semi remote location and is equipped with everything you might need. It has a relaxing home from home feel and the pool and views are second to none. The nearest town is a few kilometres away and is a vibrant place to visit either during the day or in the evening. Lots of other nearby towns are worth a visit too. The hosts Nino, Paola and Giusy are the most wonderful and genuinely kind people who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

amazing stay

The hosts were very friendly and communicative .. they brought morning treats daily for us and were always just a quick message away if we needed help. I would stay again .. locale is semi remote ( but thats what we wanted ) but if you have a car .. you are only 10 minutes from town - 30 minutes from the coast. Pool and view was amazing.

Idyllic getaway in Puglia

My husband and I plus two other couples stayed here for 4 nights in May. What a beautiful, quiet, relaxing villa! The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious; the kitchen has everything you could need and the living spaces are light-filled and pleasant. The greatest area, though, is the enormous patio and salt infinity pool - absolutely gorgeous!! Giusy and her father-in-law Nico are delightful and can advise on all kinds of local things to do. As other reviews have said, Nico comes by each morning to clean the pool and brings fresh croissants for all the guests. Very thoughtful and kind. Good to know: the bedrooms are all on one floor with one bath. There are 3 other baths one floor down. This worked easily for our group of 6. Another thing to know: as the property is out in the countryside it is imperative that you contact Giusy as you get close so that she can give you GPS coordinates for the villa. Essential for avoiding wrong turns! Would definitely recommend this property and stay here again. Thanks Giusy and Nico!

Fantastic - a very special place!

The villa and grounds were even more amazing than they look in the photos. The house is both beautiful and practical and really well thought out in its design and the swimming pool/ outside area was just fabulous. Absolutely perfect villa for all the family and we had the most amazing stay. The hosts were extremely friendly, kind and helpful and went out of their way to make our holiday so special. And Nino bringing pastries, fresh figs, pears and cheese in the mornings was one of the real highlights. We absolutely loved it all - one of the nicest places we have every stayed.

Prachtig huis met meest gastvrije eigenaren

Fantastische trullo met grote villa eraan vast gelegen in een boomgaard van olijfbomen zo ver als je kunt kijken. Fantastisch huis met ā€˜zoutwater zwembadā€™ en meest gastvrije eigenaren die je je kunt voorstellen. Veel dank aan Nino en Guisy voor het ontvangst met Italiaanse maaltijd en elke ochtend verse croissants. Echt een aanrader als je met de familie volledig wil ontspannen en ontsnappen.

Hospitality Plus

Despite some weather caused issues which were out of the control of the hosts, our stay was one of our best ever in a vacation home. From arriving late to a homemade dinner and homemade wine, to pastries from the host every morning, to immediate assistance when a freak hailstorm knocked out power at the property, we were treated like old family friends. And, the property itself was better than expected. Sleeping in a Trullo was amazing, the pool with views over the olive grove was beautiful and relaxing, the location is great for all villages in the valley. We only hope we can return some day.

Spectacular Villa and pool. So many spaces to enjoy.

The villa is a little off the beaten path but only 10-15 minutes away from Alberobello. It's spacious both inside and out and the infinity pool is a welcome respite after a day of touring the area in the summer heat. We enjoyed some spectacular sunsets out by the pool, but the best part was having our host, Nino, start up the pizza oven and make us homemade focaccia bread! A truly authentic experience. The only downside is that two of the bathrooms are down a long staircase. And don't use the street address in google maps because it will take you down a very narrow bumpy road. Use the name of the property.

Nous avons passĆ© un sĆ©jour incroyable... c'est la premiĆØre fois que nous louons une villa Ć  quelqu'un qui vous apporte les croissants pour 6 personnes tous les matins... sans parler du vin, du cafĆ©, des fruits, etc... Ć  disposition pendant la semaine... sans parler non plus des focaccia, du vin, etc... apportĆ©es Ć  l'apĆ©ritif organisĆ© le soir avant de partir... des gens super sympa vous dis-je... rien Ć  redire, il faudra qu'on y retourne

Absolutely fabulous!

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday! This villa is totally perfect and itā€™s owners could not have been more welcoming, helpful and kind. We had a power cut due to an electrical storm and their response to our text message was very efficient and quickly rectified. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could need. The fantastic outdoor spacious, eating area and fabulous, spotless salt water pool were second to none! Good time had by all - highly recommend!

Beautiful Villa with Fantastic Hospitality!

If I could give this villa more than 5 stars I would!! A group of 5 of us stayed in this villa in July of 2018 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was great... just 10 minutes from Alberobello and a very short drive to Locorotondo and Ostuni. The home itself contains an original trulli, but has been added on to and modernized into quite a large home that was very comfortable for our group. The pool area was absolutely breathtaking, with a gorgeous vista overlooking olive trees, a huge deck area with multiple lounge areas, and an outdoor dining area where we ate all of our meals. The hospitality we received from Giusy, Nino, and their family was absolutely wonderful. I contacted Giusy a couple of times up to the date of our arrival with questions and she was always extremely prompt and polite in her replies. When we arrived, we received a full tour and Nino was nice enough to treat us to a bottle of his own wine that he makes himself. Every morning, Nino would drop by and leave us delicious pastries, which were in addition to the tomatoes and cucumbers that he grows himself, as well as the friselli which was home made by his wife. Honestly, the tomatoes were the best I've ever had in my life. We couldn't have felt more welcome!
