We enjoyed our stay at the Welton Cliff Cottage for our group of 9. The bedrooms were smaller than we expected. They looked larger in the photos. Very tight for the amount of luggage we had coming from America. The home was very clean, however, upon arrival we had to kill a few spiders. The fly's were pretty bad too. Maybe they could spray for bugs more frequently and supply a fly swatter but we realized that's what you get when you stay on a farm. The property is beautiful. We thought it was fun to sit and watch the rabbits and deer that wandered into the yard early in the morning. We chose this property because it was central to the places we were visiting. Just know that it is a 15-20 minute drive to a grocery store or restaurant. There was a McDonalds & a gas station about 10-15 minutes away. The host let us know the day we arrived that the boiler was out but supplied us with space heaters for each room. It wasn't a problem for the upstairs rooms but the downstairs bedroom, kitchen, & family rooms were quite cold for the first two nights. Overall we had a lovely stay.Pros: Beautiful property, safe area, clean home, comfortable beds, 2 large family gathering rooms, plenty of kitchen utensils, large kitchen table, washer & dryer, laundry, kitchen & bathroom essentials, at least 1 hair dryer.Cons: Small bedrooms, Boiler out (I'm sure they will fix this), far from anything (which might be good if you are trying to get away from city).
