Bautifull appointed newer home with dishwasher,w/d and full kitchen
Walking distance to the golf Cours and beaches, need car as it is located on the south west side of the island, all amenities are 10 minutes drive to the village
Nice patio with view of the ocean including vancouver and surrounded by trees and trails, self contained and all the privacy if you wish or we are next door if you like company or a glas of wine ;)

Bowen Island retreat

The property is beautifully maintained. The cottage was clean, cozy and conveniently located to the golf course. The owner Margit was a warm and welcoming host. Highly recommend for a stay on Bowen island!

2 nights in the coach house

We had an amazing time in Margit's peaceful coach house.We spent 2 nights on Bowen island. The suite is perfectly located,15 min away from the ferry and shops. 2 minutes from the golf (20 min walk).Perfect for discovering the island.

Delightful weekend escape!

Margit and Stuart are wonderful and gracious hosts. Their suite is sparkling clean and offered nearby access to the golf course and beautiful hikes. We needed a quiet escape from the city, and this was the perfect getaway. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay on Bowen Island with Margit and Stuart.

great place/great hosts

This property is nice, wonderful filtered view of Vancouver and the water. The deck is a great for morning coffee and an evening meal The Kitchen has everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfy. The hosts very friendly and helpful with the many questions we had, even let us pick some fresh sweet basil from her garden. I cant wait to go back.

Really great quiet location. Clean, nice location and Margit and Stuart are really friendly and welcoming. Love Bowen Island and this is a great place to stay if you want to get away from it all. Margit, sorry we had to leave early. Well be back though and this time the weather won't defeat us!

The best hosts and an incredible property!

A well laid out, well equipped and stylish place. It has everything that you need. A full kitchen, a comfy king sized bed and a great location. It’s nice a quiet and also has views of the ocean! I would give it a 5/5 just for the place, but I would give it a 10/5 because Margit, the host, is so welcoming, kind and fun! I would recommend this place, hands down. Thank you so much, I will be back for sure ❤️

A dream of an accommodation!

Let me start off by saying that Margit and her husband are wonderful people! There were super friendly, easy to talk to, responsive, and overall very hospitable. Their coach house was very clean, spacious, and was well stocked with day to day supplies. This is most definitely a place worth staying in. Thank you, Margit and Stuart!

Beautiful place to stay!!

This coach house is a dream come true! It is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. The host, Margit is very helpful and a lovely person. She even picked up a gift for my daughter so it would be there when she arrived! We couldn`t ask for a more perfect place for a getaway....surrounded by nature, and with all the comforts of home. Thank you Margit!

Peaceful Cottage Retreat

The cottage is well designed and equipped, & provided a wonderful spot for 2 people to spend a comfortable, quiet weekend. It is very attractively decorated to create a relaxing atmosphere. The listing description was accurate, the property was very clean and well maintained, and Margit was extremely friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend this rental to our friends & families, and return to it ourselves. A car is needed but it doesn't take long to get to Snug Cove & the ferry.

Bowen Island Respite

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. The host walked us through the cottage and re-acquainted us how everything works and what is provided. We just curled up and watched Netflix the first night. Supper in town the second. Close to golf course and short driving distance to several beaches. Host is very friendly and on site in the event she is needed. Property is very clean and tastefully appointed. A very relaxing weekend indeed! Just what we needed and wanted. Thanks Margit

Peaceful haven

Margit and Stuart have lovingly created a secret cottage away from the bustle of the city. They have thoughtfully designed the space to feel open and uncluttered from the recessed bookshelves on either side of the fireplace, to the stylish windows and patio doors and modern rain showerhead. The cottage is light and bright and there is just something that makes you feel alive when morning sun filters in through the kitchen and lounge windows. We thoroughly enjoyed eating our meals on the private deck surrounded by greenery and views of the ocean. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and found the kitchen equipment to be more than adequate for prepping and cooking meals. We should not forget the BBQ which my husband used to cook evening meals and a breakfast. We very much enjoyed our morning and evening chats with Margit and Stuart. It’s a pity we didn’t have more time, we would have loved getting to know them. This little getaway is not far from home and we look forward to planning more weekend retreats at Margit and Stuart’s peaceful haven.

Exactly What We Wanted

Quiet, modern and clean, this carriage house was exactly the place we wanted for a get-away weekend to Bowen Island. The house was so comfortable and complete (strong wifi, stocked kitchen, deck with view of Howe Sound, big windows framing big trees, desk ) that we never left. The owner provided the right amount of instructions and was always responsive. About 15 mins by car to the village, this is an ideal option for a couple or a solo traveler looking for a quiet and isolated place to relax, work, etc. We plan to return.
