Having stayed in a number of VRBO’s through the years, we found this one to be one of the best. It was tastefully appointed with all the comforts of home including but not limited to a fully equipped kitchen, washer, comfortable beds, air-conditioning which was such a plus after touring each day in the heat, plenty of hot water in the showers, a fabulous wrap-around deck with plants and seating to enjoy morning coffee. It was within walking distance of all the sites in Assisi and the location had easy access to highways enabling us to also visit Perugia, Gubbio, and Spoleto. Having a parking spot was such a bonus!The market was a five minute walk and had everything we needed including fresh produce, deli, wine and premade Campari Spritz, and prepared foods. There was also a shop next to it for fresh pastries each day. As important was the wonderful host Angela and her husband and delightful son who made us feel so welcome, were always responsive to any request and provided helpful information and answers to any questions we might have had. We highly recommend staying at this property if you travel to Assisi!

Angela the host was amazing, helping us several times with communication challenges. The property was delightful and the veranda was enjoyed by all especially in the morning with all the birds chirping. Great clean place conveniently located by a cafe and market. Great location to walk the Assisi city tour going down hill. Thanks, again Angela for your kindness and help! Gracie,gracie.

Great host, beautiful area.

Angela met us at the VRBO, showed us around it and gave us some great ideas of things to see and restaurants to eat at. Small grocery store and cafe one block away. Everyone there was very friendly.

Umbria Visit

Well located to access Assisi and by rental car access all of Umbria. We stayed 13 nights and enjoyed the apartment. Angela was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations during the whole stay. Would stay again if ever in Umbria.

All the other great reviews are accurate. Great location walking distance to the historic center and with a parking space. Angela was a fantastic host. The air conditioning was really nice in the July heat.

Highly Recommend

This property was perfect for our stay in Assisi. We loved the family who hosts this property! They were friendly, greeted us upon arrival, responsive, and assisted us during our stay. The apartment was clean and renovated with style. I enjoyed the peaceful patio and the location was walkable to all the sites.

Wonderful apartment

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this quaint apartment. The host was easy to contact and gave us a rundown on all the sites and best places to eat in Assisi. The beds were comfortable. Lots of dining choices and sightseeing all within easy walking distance. Our only complaint is we were a little bit cold. I should have had the host explain the thermostat before he left!

Great location

Angela was the best! She had wonderful recommendations and suggestions for us. From places to see, tours to take and restaurants to eat at. We spent 18 days here just enjoying the beautiful weather, the great places to visit and the quiet balcony to just sit, relax and have a glass of wine. Grazie Angela! We will suggest your place to all.

Lovely home in Assisi

Our stay here was simply wonderful! Angela was such a gracious and welcoming host. She warmly greeted us when we arrived and was prompt in making sure we had everything logistically (restaurant recommendations, quickly helping us resolve the wifi when the it had an issue, etc. The house is really nice, spacious and you can tell it's been recently renovated, very clean and had all we needed! So great to have a full kitchen and a washing machine! Peaceful neighborhood with relaxing balcony. We didn't want to leave!
There's no place like Assis!

Fantastic Days

We used the Flat as three friends for five days and everything was perfect. Angela is such a nice host and shared a lot of ideas where to go, where to eat … Walking downtown is only 10 min and the way up to Monte Subasio is only 5 min away. Thank you, Angela, for a wonderful time. Gabi and Friends

If I could rate rate higher than 5, I would. It started with Angela greeting us warmly and describing the apartment and the city thoroughly - even setting up a tour with a pedi - guide bike host who was amazing! The apartment felt like home - we stayed for 9 days - all the amenities we needed, parking right outside the apartment (big plus) and a grocery within walking distance. We loved this apartment, highly recommend and will stay again if we are ever back in Assisi.

Beautifully decorated spacious apartment overlooking Assisi.

Wonderful experience. Angela was very accommodating and made us feel welcome immediately. We actually arrived in Assisi earlier than expected and Angela let us checkin earlier than we had scheduled previously. She provided us with a map of the city and pointed out all the sights of the city. The apartment is huge and beautifully decorated. At a nearby market recommended by Angela we purchased locally grown produce, meats and cheese to enjoy on the patio of the apartment overlooking the city lights. Parking is available at the apartment which was awesome.

Clean and Quiet in Lovely Assisi

This apartment was wonderful. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 boys. It was very clean, bright and airy. There is a nice kitchen set up. The bedroom area can be closed off from the living room area. It has a small porch with a wonderful view. It is conveniently located very close to a grocery store. We arrived with 2 cars and there are 2 free parking spaces right at the front door of the apartment. Angela was a welcoming host with plenty of tips and suggestions for getting the most out of our short stay in charming Assisi. We would return to this apartment again and again.

Excellent apartment with a delightful host

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath spacious apartment was a lovely modern flat with views of greenery and the valley far below. It is much prettier than photographed! Impeccably maintained, the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and the living room for relaxing. A porch around three sides of the house offers room to sit and enjoy the view. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. There was free parking for one car in front of the unit, which was fairly close to the restricted zone—under half a mile. And a very short walk from the apartment was a full-service grocery store which also had delicious prepared food, and a small cafe. Best of all was the host, Angela, who was outgoing and genuinely interested in helping us to enjoy her apartment and town. A terrific find!

febbraio in Assisi

We made our first visit to Umbria in May 2022, and we are pleased that we could return so soon in life. Assisi is wonderful, and with no major festivities in February we found ourselves in the normal rhythm of the city. We are deeply grateful that we could stay again at this great apartment. As our prior review states, the family lives nearby and the service is flat-out excellent. Still. The apartment feels really large, particularly with all of the sunshine in the kitchen and living areas. As in 2022, the apartment still is spotless: clean tiles in both bathrooms, excellent lighting, comfortable furniture. On this visit in 2023, we rested and enjoyed our mornings relaxing inside in the living room. We love the fabulous terrace. The location is just a short distance from all that we wish to see in Assisi. Plus, right around the corner is a classic Italian bar and a full-service grocery store. In two shopping trips, we easily found all of our foods for breakfast, as well as dinner for one evening. (The grocery store also offers an excellent variety of prepared foods, but the customer needs to arrive early to have a good opportunity for all of the offerings.) We have stayed in several VRBO properties over the past year, and we do not hesitate to state that the pro service at this apartment in Assisi is peerless. We have big smiles for the kindness shared with us. Grazie mille.

Wonderful Assisi Location

The apartment was perfect! It is about a 10 minute walk into the main square in Assisi. The apartment was very comfortable for two couples. The kitchen has everything that you need. The host, Angela is terrific. She was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
