Upgraded Private Lock-Off Room With Plenty of Perks!

Perfect property for a stay with the family or as a large group in Mountain Village! Bedding: King bed and a twin bunk Guests enter this unit on the third floor (lobby level) and are welcomed into a bright and airy hotel room-style lock-off room. The room features a king bed, twin bunk bed, small vanity area, flat screen TV, coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge. The ensuite bathroom has a step-in shower with a glass enclosure and a jetted tub. Every unit at the Bear Creek Lodge includes a fan, humidifier, hairdryer, coffee maker, starter coffee, and robes. The Bear Creek Lodge offers free top-of-the-line fiber wireless internet access, a fitness center, newly-remodeled outdoor year-round heated pool and hot tubs, grills, a fire pit, sauna and a free shuttle for guest use within Mountain Village. A funicular is located onsite for easy ski access to the Lower Village Bypass run in the winter. Parking at the Bear Creek Lodge is NOT guaranteed. One parking spot per unit is available on a first-come, first-served basis for $25 per night. Parking fees will be charged at check-in. If parking is not available at the lodge, parking is available at the Gondola Parking Garage for $25 per night. The Gondola Parking Garage is located behind Market Plaza and is accessible via the on-demand shuttle at the Bear Creek Lodge. The pool, hot tub and shuttle operation hours vary. Please consult the front desk for hours during your stay. There is no A/C at this property. This condo is NOT pet-friendly and any unregistered dog will incur a substantial fee. Small, but adequate

This room had a king bed and a bunkbed. It was adequate for sleeping. We were out most of the day hiking which was amazing and really only used it for sleeping and cleaning up during the day. The rest of the facility was beautiful and it was close to the gondola which could take us up and over into Telluride. Staff at the front desk were amazing, especially Ignacio.

Nice but a little far

Was nice and clean but a bit further from things than we would like. Had a nice courtesy shuttle minivan which mitigated that somewhat. We stayed in July and it can get a bit stuffy in the room later in the day, even with both front and rear windows open there wasn’t much cross breeze, which can make it difficult to fall asleep since there is no AC. Room came with a small fan but it was already broken, it would tip down and turn off randomly which seemed unsafe so we didn’t use it. Unit could use a ceiling fan for the summer months. Room is narrow and long which doesn’t come through in the photos. They have a nice BBQ area which we used, though it could use the addition of a grill spatula for burgers. The kids enjoyed the kids play room. Overall enjoyed the stay and would recommend it. Probably won’t return to the Telluride area though. It’s beautiful and while this room was priced okay everything else in this area is very expensive compared to nearby Ouray which is even more beautiful in my opinion and is more down to earth. This area just doesn’t feel authentic, it’s all kinda fake. Perfect for the extremely wealthy. As upper middle class I felt out of place.

Pros: clean, great location, and very helpful staff. Cons: we had to make the bunkbed, and there was not enough blankets for both bunkbeds. Additionally, there is no DVD player as advertised, and it’s extremely easy to hear the neighbors.

Loved our Stay!

Being able to walk to the gondola and get everywhere that way was fabulous. We took advantage of the pool/hot tub, the frisbee golf course nearby(which was a major uphill workout), the market and our tiny frig/coffee maker. Beds were comfortable. Small but workable since we were rarely in the room. We thought we were getting two rooms but the bunk beds are right there too.

Perfect affordable stay for a family of 4

We arrived not knowing what to expect because the price seemed too good to be true. Upon arriving and checking in, we were greeted by friendly hotel staff and directed to our room that was perfect for our family of four (boys ages 8 & 10). The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also a bonus that the lodge had all the amenities one could ask for including a great pool & hot tubs, grilling area, little fridge and microwave in the room, and just a quick charming walk to the market and gondola. We would definitely stay there again!
