GET AWAY from the hustle & bustle of everyday life and spend quality time together in our Country Barndominium located in Valley Center, California in San Diego County. We are nestled among the lush citrus. avocado groves, vineyards and horse ranches. You will often hear the sounds of Red-Tail Hawks soaring through the blue skies from the upstairs PRIVATE DECK of this beautiful & spacious PRIVATE 1 BR - 1BA, full kitchen with a fabulous 180 degree mountain & sunset views. We are out here on almost 3 Acres so our neighbor properties are all spaced well. This Spacious & private Barndominium is .located out in the country down a country road. where there is no light pollution and we look at Mt. Palomar where the world famous Palomar Observatory is located. Downstairs, there is a private patio area with a BBQ and Spa, Seating with a grassy area to play games with a table to enjoy BBQing and eating food outdoors. . We offer a full kitchen with everything you would need including 3 coffee makers. During the spring we offer to fruit lovers, Tangelos, Tangerines right off our trees. We respect guests privacy but we are on the property (NOT in the rental area) if you need us, we are a text away.

SPA (Private) is below the deck. Around the spa is a private full patio, seating area, and grassy area to play lawn games or just relax while barbecuing.

Also see the other attractions that are about 1 hr - 2 hrs. away such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.

WEATHER is fabulous, mostly in the 60-70's even in the winter. In the summer we have warmer temperatures 80's, 90's sometimes over 95 degrees and because we are 1,300 ft. above sea level we have a cool ocean breeze most of the time. Being less than 35 min. from Southern California beaches gives us the best of both climates because we are far enough from the ocean to escape most of the fog, clouds, and crowds yet close enough to enjoy the cool breezes in the heat of summer. We rarely go over 100 degrees and have air conditioning if we do get in the higher temps.

KITCHEN comes fully equipped with all stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in addition to the smaller appliances ie: blender, 3 different coffee machines: a Cuisinart full pot coffee maker and bean grinder, a Keuirig 1 -cup coffee maker including K-cups, a Nespresso machine so bring your own favorite pods, hand mixer, etc. There is a LG oven/Cooktop and microwave, and a GE dishwasher together with a purified R.O. water system. The kitchen is stocked with some spices and basic condiments.

SLEEPS 4 / MASTER BEDROOM WITH KING SIZE BED/ QUEEN SOFA SLEEPER / OTHER OPTIONS - From the master bedroom there are BEAUTIFUL mountain views from the large windows installed with cellular shades and curtains for darkening. There is a CALIFORNIA KING size bed with a 3" memory foam topper, full length Mirror together with a quiet sitting area next to the window where you can curl up & read a good book. In addition, we have 2 storage areas (good for your suitcases) with plenty of room to accommodate a longer stay. QUEEN SLEEPER - SLEEPS AN ADDED 2 MORE - In the living area which has a 4" Memory Foam mattress. OTHER SLEEPING OPTIONS: We also have the option of 2 double bed size 4" high density foam pieces enclosed in sheets to place anywhere with added sheets to fit. Also a single wide Foam fold-out pad for anyone for simplicity in folding and picking up out of the way.

LIVING / ENTERTAINMENT We offer free Wifi and have frequent guests that work from here. We are set up with a flat screen T.V. with a Blu-Ray DVD player & Boze surround sound system. We have a wide variety of DVD's available together with a large variety of games for quiet nights indoors. We also offer Video Game Cables for Gamers for your use. For indoor entertainment the room is set up with a Roku Box where you can stream movies for your Netflix or Hulu and or Prime.

BATHROOM accommodates a shower over tub that is complete with safety handrails and a hand-held shower head for convenience. We supply towels, body wash and a hair dryer. The vacation rental is also equipped with your own private washer and dryer for clothes washing.

OFFICE AREA is complete with free WIFI an office chair and a hugh granite desk with plenty of lighting, drawers and Built in filing cabinets giving you plenty of work space with free Wifi.

Sorry, NO PETS - We have other guests that have pet allergies and we also have neighbors with large dogs all around us which can be disruptive to the neighborhood & unsettling for having any animals here at the rental. Also, as owner, I have 2 cats on the property. If you have an EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL, Guests must provide Letter from Psychiatrist. If you have a SERVICE ANIMAL, a Certificate with the dogs picture is required. Please notify owner initially if you are trying to bring an Emotional Support Animal or a Service Dog with the reservation with the appropriate documentation, which is required. Please call owner to discuss guidelines.

CLEANING- Just a note on cleaning procedures. We are very meticulous as we use a Commercial Grade Viricidal / Germicidal on all floors. We use Clorox Disinfectant Wipes on surfaces and door-nobs. . All sheets and towels are washed in a Commercial front loader at high temps. Larger bedding pieces are washed on the highest heat setting in our commercial Speed Queen. All sofa / loveseat and dinette seats have coverlets that are washed or sprayed with Lysol between guests. We supply to our guests the following: Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Lysol Spray, Hand Sanitizer, Anti-bacterial hand Soap.
