This villa has a stunning view over the cliffs of Cap Canaille and the sea from the upper floor. It is peaceful and 5 min away by foot from the village, the harbour, and the beach. Cassis is a village with a difficult access, and going to the village and the beach walk is a considerable asset. The villa can accommodate 12 people with its 6 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (with shower and/or bathtub). One of the bedrooms is one the ground floor, ideal for people with mobility impairments. The villa consists of 2 living rooms, one with a piano, a dining room, a nice kitchen, and 4 WC. The living room leads to the garden and the pool. The villa is very bright and opens into the garden. The pool is protected by a sliding shelter assuring total security for children. You can also find many deck chairs. In the garden, there is a barbecue and a roofed terrace with sofa and a table for having meals while being sheltered. The villa allows everyone to have certain privacy thanks to its inside and outside organisation.
The villa is located in the heart of Cassis, where you can find many activities. You can taste the wine of Cassis in the cellars found a few steps away from the villa. Also, there are many organised visits to the castle of Cassis. The sea and the beach offer many nautical activities: paddle board,
Windsurfing, canoe-kayak, rowing, surfing, motorboat or sailing. Hikes are organised by guides in Cassis to the conservation area of the calanques, where you can practice climbing. There are also boat trips to the calanques. You can also find a tree climbing park and a large and roofed public swimming pool with space for swimming and for your children. The Fregate Golf Club with is dazzling view of the sea is a few kilometres away from the village. The evenings are animated with free concerts outdoor, and the night markets with its handcrafts. On the harbour of Cassis, there are many welcoming restaurants and cafes with their terraces all the way down to the Marseillaise boat and the castle of Cassis.
A cinema also broadcasts various films for children and adults.
A nautical water park is located 10 km away from the village.

We returned to Benedicte's villa and all enjoyed the visit. The house is attractive and very convenient for the town. The pool was great for cooling off.

Wonderful spot to spend a week after a bike and barge trip. Home is close to harbour and grocery store, pool was lovely!

Perfect location

Lovely villa with fabulous secure pool which was very important with two crawling babies. Unfortunately the open staircase wasn’t quite so child friendly. Although there were fans in each room, the villa was very warm even in mid September. The location was perfect, close to the Town Centre, bus stop and supermarket.

The location of the house was great, though the Mobilty challenged will find the hill down to the town a trial. A supermarket was in easy walking distance. The exterior space was well screened from the neighbours, quiet, and had a nice variety of sitting areas. The pool was great. The interior of the house was well appointed, but toilet sharing was required. The main annoyance was the lack of minor items like spare toilet rolls, garbage bags, laundry detergent (dish washer tablets were provided). However Extra towels were quickly provided.

Perfect for a family holiday

There were six of us staying at this property and it was more than adequate for our needs. The pool area and Terrace was lovely and we had many good times out there. There are plenty of bathrooms and toilets and the overall facilities were very good. Cassis is very hilly, but the location of this villa was superb. Probably five minutes walk to the town and not a steep climb back up at all. Great location for the local supermarket and bus stop at the end of the quiet road on the main road. Made getting to Cassis station extremely easy and allows us to have a day out in Marseille and another in sanary sur mer. It was unusually warm for the time of year and, being from a colder climate, air-conditioning would have been nice in the evenings although the provided fans did help. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Property is let down by hygiene and linens

The linens were appalling- poor quality, ripped and bloodstained. These were changed by the owner at our request on the first day. All linens were bubbly and old - not what you’d expect in a house which was not cheap. Distinct smell of drains in some of the bedrooms. Poor quality saucepans. Had to clean all of the the crockery before use. Great location, pool and garden, let down by all of this really. We were two professional couples travelling and expect more from a rental at this price point.

Great location fro an amazing holiday

We were a group of 10 adults and we came to Cassis to celebrate some big birthdays. The house is lovely, the main bedroom with terrace has stunning views of Cap Canaille which is gold and beautiful in the late . afternoon. We tended to cook in most evenings and the house is pretty well equipped with dishes and utensils. The BBQ was easy to use and big enough for lots of food! The pool area is lovely and there are several sun loungers and seating areas. The pool was cold ( first week of April) but the bold and brave took a dip as the weather got warmer. We absolutely loved the walk to the calanques which was stunningly beautiful but quite a hike and steep in parts.. We also took the boat trip which was a relaxing way to see them but the hike has the best views. Other activities included the beautiful Route Des Cretes which is a wonderful cliff top road with lots of viewpoints, a day trip to Aix and a drive to the village of La Cadiere D’Azur ( a hillside village with great views and lots of winding streets with shops and cafes). Cassis is a lovely little town and only a 7 minute walk from the house - there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants to try as well as a market. We loved the area and will definitively be back!

Great House in a great Location!

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely house: A total of 12 people (incl 5 kids and 2 seniors). The house itself is great and well equipped: It has 6 bedrooms, 5 on the upper floor and 1 on the ground floor. 5 of the rooms are rather small, but large enough and all have their own bathroom. Outside, there are 3 seating areas designed for 8-10 persons each. But, by moving one table and 2 chairs, we were able to create 2 seating areas for 12 each - perfect. There is always a space outside to be in the shade or in the sun. The outside kitchen comes with a gas stove and a big fridge. The outaide aink and dishwasher did not work bc. of a water leak shortly before our stay but I guess will be fixed soon. The big, built in barbecue is nonfunctional, but the host has already put up a big standalone charcoal grill. The way to the (really fine pebble) beach is downhill about 10 minutes. The warnings were not necessary: Our two seniors (both about 75 years old, one with a bad leg) could walk down and up without issues! There is a supermarket in easy walking distance as well as several smaller stores down in the city. Easy to get fresh beguettes and croissants for breakfast. The pool is great to refresh and relax. There were a little too much chemicals in (red eyes) but the host took our suggestion and tries to improve. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She takes good care of the house and expects the same from the guests. All in all a superb experience, 100% recommendation!

Schöne Lage, Haus nicht perfekt

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Ausstattung der Küche sollte erneuert werden. Ebenso sollten Messer, Schneidebretter dringend erneuert werden. Bei Stechmücken Zeit gibt es keine Fliegengardinen.

Chère Karine Je suis désolée que vous n’ayez pas trouvé tous les couteaux. Près de la plaque de cuisson, il y a un tiroir où se trouvent un couteau à pain et au moins 5 couteaux de cuisine. Villa in Cassis

Das Haus ist super gelegen, in ca 10 min ist man im Städtchen und Strand. Der Strand ist steinig und nicht sehr gross, aber tip top. Zurück gehts aufwärts, aber ist nicht schlimm. In ca 6 min. rechter Hand des Hauses hat es einen Express Supermarkt mit offener Metzgerei. Dort erhält man alles was man braucht. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Jedes Zimmer hat eine Dusche aber nicht alle ein WC. Im oberen Stock ein Zimmer mit WC und 1 WC und die anderen ohne und im Parterre 1 Zimmer mit WC und 2 einelne WC. Die gedeckte Kochnische war sehr praktisch und wir hatten zu 11 gut Platz.

Fantastic house in the heart of Cassis

We spent an unforgettable week among friends (8 adults, 4 children) in this spacious house located at a 7 min walk from the town center. The house is as described and has all the necessary amenities. All the rooms have a shower, but only one also has a toilet. 3 separate toilets are also available throughout the house. One of the room is very large, with a very nice and large bathroom, nice terrasse and superb view of the cliff and sea. The outside is great with pool (which can be covered), nice flowers, and 3 large tables for groups. The barbecue was not functional when we were there (as told by the owner) but two braseros with charcoal were available and worked well. The house fits about 4 cars and is locked by a convenient automatic gate. We did not need the cars to go around town or do groceries but be aware that there is a steep hill from town to the house (would be hard for older folks especially under the heat). Be also aware that sheets and towels as well as cleaning come at an extra cost. The owner is very responsive. In summary, this is a wonderful house for a large group and kids and it is very highly recommended.

Excellent séjour

Villa bien équipée, et très bien située à Cassis, proche du port, de la plage et des commerces. Villa très agréable avec douche ou bain pour chaque chambre, très vastes pièces de séjour, belle piscine, bon BBC avec table et banc, belle terrasse avec plusieurs coins à manger.
