A steep staircase leads to the bedrooms — one king and a flexible second bedroom that can be set up as a king or twin — and forms part of the cottage’s character, though it may not be suitable for the elderly or those with restricted mobility. The modern bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower is located downstairs.
