This apartment is on the first (1) floor and one of the two properties (also a studio within the same building) owned by the same owner. Because of its location all amenities are offered just in a stroll, from supermarkets, bars, cafes and tavernas to atm machine, pharmacy, tourist information and car/motorbike/motorboat rental places. You will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy your stay in a beautiful environment with view over the small harbour of Agia Efimia. For those content to spend their time in Agia Efimia car hire is not mandatory as you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling, choosing among the numerous beautiful pebble coves with clear crystal water within 400m. There is a professional diving school based in the village, and also small motorboats available for hire in order for you to reach the idyllic, isolated coves surrounding Agia Efimia, accessible only by boat. Nature lovers and hikers will find beautiful walking trails throughout the surrounding small villages and mountains in the valley of Pylaros. Other outdoor activities such as horseback riding, water skiing, are provided in the area. Within a 10 minute drive you reach the amazing Myrtos beach famed for the beauty of its blue water (voted one of the top ten beaches in the world). Agia Efimia and ā€œAmaliaā€™s Apartments & Studioā€ are an ideal base for exploring Kefalonia. The village itself is in a great central location giving easy access to all areas, especially the northern part of the island. (Sami, Assos, Fiscardo, Myrtos beach).

We enjoyed staying at Amelia's. Waking up to the waterview of the harbor every morning was wonderful. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Walk out the door and there were shops, restaurants, markets, and even a beautiful small beach. The people in the town were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. The apartment was very clean and they made sure we had everything we needed. Hopefully we will be able to return someday.Thank you, Michael and Rose

Questa ĆØ una recensione oggettiva: 1. Comunicazione con la proprietĆ  inesistente. Ci ha accolto un ragazzo molto gentile, dopo 30 minuti in attesa in cerca dellā€™appartamento che si trova in una vietta nascosta. Avevamo comunicato in anticipo lā€™orario del nostro arrivo (ed il numero del volo) ma nessuno si ĆØ fatto trovare. 2. La posizione ĆØ molto buona, centrale e vista mare. La casa si trova sopra un bar quindi sentirete musica e i le voci dei clienti almeno fino a mezzanotte. Inoltre nel vicinato ci sono cani che abbaiano a qualsiasi ora 3. Lā€™appartamento si trova allā€™interno di una piccola palazzina di 3 piani suddivisa in 3 appartamenti da pareti in legno quindi qualsiasi tipo di rumore fatto nelle scale o negli appartamenti ĆØ molto forte. Non cā€™ĆØ alcun tipo di isolamento acustico. 4. Lā€™appartamento ĆØ molto vecchio e questo si vede dalle foto. Il problema ĆØ stato il materasso e i cuscini duri come una roccia. 5. Il Wi-Fi non funziona In conclusione: non abbiamo dormito praticamente mai; la posizione centrale ĆØ lā€™unico motivo per alloggiare qui non piĆ¹ di 1 notte

Posizione strategica per visitare il nord e la zona est dell'isola. Appartamento molto pulito con cambio della biancheria e pulizie durante il soggiorno. Qualche difficoltĆ  nella comunicazione con la proprietaria che parla solo greco, ma che non ha risparmiato sorrisi!

Best land lord ever. Very kind , helpful , and accurate. The place gives you a picturesque view of the village and the small beautiful harbor. Its location is super , close to all the places any must visit.

The apartment was everything we needed. Great location. Exceptionally clean, and was even cleaned frequently during our stay. New bedding and towels every other day. Lovely apartment wouldnā€™t hesitate to recommend or book again. šŸ˜

The Ideal Location

I was travelling alone, on a return visit Agia Efimia which I find the ideal and charming village to stay in. This property was the perfect location, tucked just behind the main harbour front in the centre of Agia Efimia. The aprtment, although a little dated was immaculate and very clean with the facilities I required for my stay. The balcony stretches the width of the front of the apartment and is just the perfect loction to relax for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. It has the perfect view of the harbour and bay in front. It can be a little noisy in the morning, with the cafes opening up in the morning below, but I found that part of the atmosphere of the local life. I was greeted on my arrival, by a charming local Greek woman who showed me around the aprtment. I truly enjoyed my stay here. My only criticism, would be to invest in some kitchen utensils in the apartment. Basically they are non-existent and made it very difficult in preparing breakfast. I in fact went out to buy a spatula, but wooden spoons, scissors, tongs etc. would be very helpful. Also please consider a new mattress to replace the current one, which is extremley firm and has seen better days. All that said, I would be more than happy to return to this accommodation on my next visit to Agia Efimia.

A jewel in the harbour

The apart.e t is ideal for a couple, well presented and well equiped. I spent many hours sitting on the balcony watching harbour life. Plenty of places to eat and drink and so.e lovely small beaches 5-10 minutes walk away.

Great location

Lovely little apartment right in the heart of Agia Efimia. Basic but has what you need, including air con in the bedroom! Beautiful harbour view and you are right on the front in less than a minute! Definitely recommend. Agia Efimia is such a lovely place to stay, we will definitely be returning.

Functional and well located apartment

The apartment was ideally located in Agia Effimia which is a very pleasant little seaside town. Well equipped and with a great little harbor view, the apartment was nice. Just one little thing : the signal for connection wifi sharing was too weak, so maybe you could put a routeur in the apartment. I recommend.

Night time arrival problem

Everything was excellent, with one small exception. Due to ferry problems, we arrived late at night, in the dark (9pm). It would have been very helpful if we had been sent a map and clear written instructions on how to find the apartment and where to collect the key. Easy in daylight, difficult at night! Otherwise, thanks for everything, a lovely apartment in a delightful location.

Great location

Stayed here several times and love it's position and attractive balcony (cactus and geraniums). Much better since the kitchen has been moved, just needs a sofa now!

Fantastic venue and just renovated.

The area is lovely. Were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the kitchen had been fully updated. Apartment is now really clean and freshly painted. Location is great with local shops, bars and taverna's. Perfectly sighted mid Island for exploring. The Island has breath-taking scenery. Host was really helpful and left a welcome pack.

Schƶne Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist relativ klein, aber da wir jeden Tag AusflĆ¼ge gemacht haben garkein Problem. Der Balkon mit Blick auf den Hafen ist einfach einmalig. HandtĆ¼cher werden regelmƤssig ausgetauscht. Die KĆ¼che ist so klein, dass sie zumindest zum Kochen fasz nicht nutzbar ist. FĆ¼r FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck etc vƶllig ausreichend. Mehrere SupermƤrkte und sogar ein guter BƤcker sowie einige GeschƤfte und jede Menge Bars/Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer NƤhe. Das einzige Manko war fĆ¼r uns die Sauberkeit im Bad, das hƤtte besser geputzt sein mĆ¼ssen. Alles in allem aber ein sehr schƶner Urlaub und wir wĆ¼rden wieder kommen.

Brilliant location, amazing view, desperately in need of updating.

The apartment is perfectly situated and has amazing views. Unfortunately the property itself is in need of updating, de cluttering and the kitchen is almost non existent and unusable for anything more than making a drink. Despite that however, the apartment is well positioned to easily access all the local tavernas and is very close to the harbour.

Agia Efemia is a great location, the apartment overlooks the harbour which is lovely, the accommodation is nicely appointed and functional, the kitchen is very small and in need of redesigning and refitting which the owners intend to resolve during the next winter. There is plenty of choice in tavernas and restaurants local to the apartment.
