"LA TERRAZZA DEI SONTI ROSSI" is located in the hills between Chiavari and Zoagli, 2.8 km from the beach, with a wonderful view of the sea and the promontory of Portofino.
The apartment has been completely renovated in 2016 with particular attention to detail to offer a new and comfortable environment to guests. Particularly recommended for families, it offers tranquility and privacy and is an ideal place for those who want to relax in the hills without renouncing the sea.
Our customers are allowed to park in a private, covered and guarded parking space. You arrive at the beach in less than five minutes and you can reach PORTOFINO, passing through Rapallo and S. Margherita, as well as Camogli, the Aquarium of Genoa, Sestri Levante and the CINQUE TERRE, by car, train or boat.

Great week in a beautiful house

Very nice house with a beautiful view. Great terrace and cool rooms. A warm welcome by our host and many things to do and to see around Chiavari. A lovely week, I would definitely recommend this accommodation and the location.

Great Appartment, wonderful host, beautiful area

The appartment is great with a beautiful view on the bay. The host is very helpful, she gave us much advise for day trips. Chiavari and the entire area is really beautiful with many opportunities for day trips by car, boat or train.

This is a perfect spot for a vacation in Liguria. The apartment offered everything we needed and more (a big freezer. dishwasher, washing machine etc.) and stayed cool despite the heat outside. We LOVED the view from the terrace - and being able to eat outside thanks to the big table and umbrella. Arleen was a great host - she really took time to personally welcome us to the apartment and prepared a wonderful list of things to see and do in the area (including some great hidden gems). The restaurant recommendations, sightseeing ideas and parking tips were extremely helpful. We also loved having a parking space to come home to at night. There is so much to do in the area and this was a great base for day trips - either by car or boat or train (the ferry terminal and train station are only 10 minutes away with free parking close by). We would come back to stay in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place

We loved this place. It was in a perfect place with easy access to all the cool sites in the area, although via really winding roads. There is a very nice restaurant just a few minutes walk, and a mini mart 10 minutes away by foot. The star of the VRBO, though, is the host Arlene. She gave us very thorough recommendations, and would respond to text questions within minutes. She seems to really enjoy maximizing your pleasure during your stay.

Ligurian Vacation

We had an awesome time in Liguria, and much of it was due to where we stayed and the awesome host Arleen. This property was in such a convenient location for the Italian Riviera and Arleen saved us so much time (and potential headaches) with lots of tips about navigating the area, as well as restaurant recommendations. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and well laid out. The area was quiet, and the terrace overlooking the sea, with Portofino in the distance was spectacular! Gated parking underneath the apartment was particularly handy. Looking forward to a return trip and more exploring of the area.

Five star property and owner

Arleen was there to greet us with pizza and wine. She provided lists and brochures for transportation, food and exploring. If you have additional questions she was quick to respond. We never felt like we were bothering her. The property is exactly as shown, stunning 🤩. Sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine looking at the view was perfect. The restaurant and market down the road wee also wonderful. Arleen even took us to the train station when she had issues securing a taxi for us. Her hospitality went above and beyond ❤️ and we highly recommend this beautiful property

Wonderful first visit to the Italian Riviera

We have been completely bowled over by the area o our first visit and will definitely return. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace is a lovely sun trap with beautiful views across the Gulf to Portofino. However the star of the show is undoubtedly Arleen, our host. On arrival she spent a good amount of time recommending places to visit and how best to get there ( parking is difficult in some of the smaller places even in early May). She also recommended a number of restaurants. We followed her advice and were not once disappointed. Nothing is too much trouble for Arleen. One small. It’s - a car is required there is a little shop and restaurant in the village but otherwise a car is needed to go further afield. We loved it!

A very nice week

With my wife we spent a week in Arleen's apartment. This apartment is well equipped with everything you need and is very clean. Inside, the air was always fresh if the shutters were closed when the sun was shining from the terrace side. Every day when we were at the apartment, we ate on the terrace. There are magnificent views of the sea and Ligurian Riviera. Which we were able to visit easily with our car . Not all the places we wanted to visit because our time was too short . But the most important thing was the welcome of our host Arleen, her advice, her availability and her helpfulness. We arrived very late at the apartment on the first day and were pleasantly surprised that Arleen offered us good wine and a specialty from the region. We had a great time and thank Arleen for everything she did to make it happen.

Best VRBO Host Ever

We really enjoyed our time at Arleen Garibaldi’s charming house in the hills. We have been staying in rentals versus hotels for about 10 years now, and I have to say Arleen was the absolute best Host we have ever encountered. From my first message to her till after we got home, she has been timely, responsive, extremely helpful, compassionate, thoughtful, and kind. A poor Host can make or break your trip, and Arleen is one of the nicest things about this rental. In a message before our arrival, I mentioned to her I would be looking for gluten-free items in a supermarket. When we arrived, she greeted us with delicious gluten-free focaccia bread. Arleen spent a good amount of time reviewing with us what there was to do in the area, as well as all the intricacies of logistics. When we had a question during our stay, she got back to us very quickly and was so helpful. We also enjoyed the beautiful, convenient to many wonderful towns, location. While we were there we visited Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Comiglia, Sestri Levante, Levanto, and Monterosso. You will need a car and a good GPS. There are also trains and ferries available. What also makes this rental special is the beautiful patio with the amazing view, the ample furniture and wonderful flowers. We spent many meals outside, as well as under the full moon at night, listening to the church bells. Thank you, Arleen, for a special stay, Linda and Jim

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, der Außenbereich der Wohnung ist toll und Arleen ist eine sehr herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin! Es steht ein großer Parkplatz in der abschließbaren Tiefgarage zur Verfügung.Der Strand in Zoagli ist toll mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. In Chiavari gibt es einen großen kostenlosen Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhof, der Fähre und des Zentrum.Vielen Dank Arleen!!!

Tout simplement magnifique. Arleen est adorable, elle prend le temps de nous donner tous les bons conseils à l'arrivée, les bonnes adresses. La maison est spacieuse, et propre, la terrasse avec vue sur la mer est apaisante. Le garage est très pratique. L'accès au centre est rapide et confortable pour prendre le train ou le bateau. Tout est vraiment parfait. Un grand merci à Arleen, vraiment une très belle rencontre

très bon séjour

Arleen est très à l'écoute, attentionnée et réserve le meilleur accueil aux vacanciers. Le logement est bien situé en hauteur avec une belle vue sur la mer. Il permet de rayonner facilement dans la région, par voiture, train ou mer, à partir de Chiavari, la ville la plus proche, très agréable avec son animation, ses commerces et ses arcades. Le logement lui même offre toutes les facilités et très bien agencé. Terrasse très agréable le matin et le soir. A recommander chaleureusement pour tous les amoureux de l'Italie!

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sauber und die Küche voll ausgesattet. Die Terrasse ist gross und bietet einen wundervollen Blick über das Meer und auf die Landzunge von Portofino. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, immer hilfsbereit und erreichbar. Wir haben schon nach der sehr herzlichen Ankunft sehr viele Tipps bekommen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Ausflugsziele, Restaurants. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder einmal bei Arleen zu Gast sein.

Entspannter Familienurlaub

Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin mit Focciaca und Wein herzlichen empfang und ausführlich informiert. Die Zeit in dieser ruhig gelegenen schönen Wohnung war sehr entspannend, vorallem die Terrasse mit Aussicht aufs Meer hat uns begeistert! Die Wohnung bietet viel Komfort und das Auto ist in überdachter und abgeschlossener Garage gesichert
