Property Description
Riverside Drive 165 is a true cabin on the river! This beautiful, contemporary 2 bedroom, 1 bath A-frame is nestled in the trees right on the Blue River. A private location -- yet has easy access to town -- the best of both worlds. Sleeps 4. Comfortable seating, flatscreen and wood fireplace in living area. Fully equipped kitchen with large bar and counters for easy meal preparation, Keurig and regular coffee makers. Wood floors and ceiling give it that beautiful warm feeling. Dining table seats 2 or 4 and kitchen bar seats 2. Big deck with gas grill facing the river. Outdoor deck furniture seats 4. Or enjoy dining at the picnic table on the river. Firepit, hammock, swing chair, seating, in lawn area. Washer and dryer in the cabin for convenience.

Bedding is triple sheeted with professionally laundered linen.

2 surface parking spots are by the side of the house. Parking on the street is not permitted.

Minutes to Silverthorne, local restaurants and brewpubs, gear rentals, sporting goods, Target and the Silverthorne Outlets. Easy access to the Raven Golf Course, Silverthorne Recreation Center, Silverthorne Performing Arts Center and Silverthorne Pavilion. Just 7 minutes to Lake Dillon, 15 minutes to Frisco or Keystone Resort, 20 minutes to Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin, 25 minutes to Breckenridge. Down the street, access the Summit County Recreation Path for biking and walking. A wonderful summer retreat. Just out the door is renowned fly fishing on the Blue River. Blue River is catch and release only! A fisherman's paradise.

As soon as we got out of our vehicle, we both couldnt get over all of the things to see, just outside! The deck with gas grill, table and chairs was great. We walked down to the river which was a flat short walk to the firepit and chairs, the 2 person wood swing, the 2 person hammock, lounge chairs and picnic table. The river and surrounding scenery is breathtaking! We did hear very loud noises which sounded like a rock quarry nearby. We didnt notice that there are houses nearby in this neighborhood because of all the trees! It felt very private. The house itself inside was very cozy and well equipped. The king bed upstairs was firm but comfortable and the 2 twin beds on the main floor were very comfortable as well. The kitchen was well stocked with nice Wolfgang Puck non stick pans as a bonus. Lots of spices, utensils, slow cooker, Ninja blender, and gadgets galore. 2 charging stations for phones with outlets. They just thought of everything! We unexpectedly had to leave early due to a medical emergency but we definitely will be back in the near future!

Cabin stay

The gas grill didn't get above 275, so cooking was difficult. The burners on the stove are all on angles. The front door handle fell apart while leaving one day and I couldn't find a Allen wrench to fix it. Overall the cabin is in useable shape

What we expected

Great vacation. We loved the outside furniture. It was well furnished with what we needed. Only negative things were the bathroom sink drained poorly and I caught no fish (which could have been me😁). Overall we really liked this location!!

Adorable hidden gem, private along River, cozy for a few

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This little A-frame cabin is adorable, stocked with all of the kitchen supplies needed to stay for a while. The outdoor area is nestled in some trees providing shade, but also sun, and equipped with so many seating options. I loved the hammock and the swinging bench. The little river is, everything needed to check out from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The deck has a barbecue, dining set and is surrounded with adorable, string lights. The bedrooms are practical. Everything else in the house is so cute! The house is due for a deep clean, but all of the usable spaces were clean. We were pleasantly surprised that you could not hear the cars from the road nearby. This place was so special!

Gorgeous property

This house has a private feel, but is still located close to great restaurants and shopping. The view is unbeatable and the house is cozy. We hope to be able to return to the house one day!!

I never saw a neighbor while we soaked up the outdoors, but we did see an moose and her calf, an elk and two different foxes. Cabin was secluded enough to make you feel like you here camping in the mountains but close to town for golf, groceries and restaurants. Being right on the river was my favorite feature!

The views of the mountains are outstanding and the outside seating area by the riverside is very private and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day.

The river makes it worth it

The first downfall of this property is that you cannot just head straight there as you do with so many other rentals. You first have to stop by the office to pick up keys. Then you can head into the cabin. When you enter it will seem like it was left untouched since last ski season, clean enough but still dingy with uncomfortable beds. The bathroom has been remodeled somewhat recently but it isn’t the easiest to move around in. The main door does not stay shut unless you lock it so while you’re out enjoying the river you may want to double check that the door is shut. My tip to you is to spend as much time outside as you can. You are pretty close to the neighbors and not nearly as secluded as it appears in the photos but man the views of the mountains over the river will make you want to spend your days and nights relaxing in one of the many outdoor seating options provided.

Early Fall on the Blue River

The cabin was perfect. Fishing on the Blue was wonderful. Bull Moose even happened to cross the river during our fishing. A special thanks goes out to the management group since we were there when there happened to be a wildfire at the top of the mountain. There was a chance we would have to evacuate. The management group had a condo in town that we could have used if the homes on the mountain had to evacuate. In the end all homes were spared by the fire.

Awesome Place with Amazing Views

The house was very comfortable for our family of 3. The location is great, easy to get to town, but feels secluded. The river and mountain views are unbeatable. There is lot's to do outdoors at the house, which made is easy to wind down and relax and just enjoy the fresh mountain air. For times when you need to be indoors, the new 65" TV was amazing. We will definetly be back for another stay!

Simple cabin on the river

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this A-frame along the river in September! The beds and the bedding were very comfortable. There were fans in the upstairs and downstairs closets so we were able to open the windows at night and maintain a cool enough temperature (It was still 80 degrees during the day during our stay). I went to do laundry at the end of our trip and was unable to find laundry detergent. There was fabric softener and stain remover but I could not find detergent anywhere. Perhaps I just missed it. I was able to make do pretty well with the cooking utensils in the kitchen although there is no tea kettle (this isn't a huge deal, but I like to know!). We did see a fox come visit the yard every night, and observed some deer across the river! It was quiet and the hammock is super comfortable. There are several games in the closet, most notably Jenga and Scrabble, which we enjoyed. The cabin itself is a basic older cabin but it was comfortable and the space was just perfect for our family of 4. We would definitely stay here again! We never went to town but it was close enough that we could have easily if we'd wanted to. The views are so beautiful from the back porch and by the river, we had no desire or need to leave at any point.

Perfect cabin for a fall getaway!

The charming cabin right next to the Blue River is the perfect fall getaway! The view from the front porch never gets old. Peaceful location and it feels like you are out away from everything even though you are still close to town. We would absolutely stay here again!
