ATHENA is a 40 sq m. cosy and spacious studio featuring an extra 20 sq.m. mezzanine floor. Access is via 2 marble steps and a beautiful Lindian pebbled mosaic. Open plan layout with living room, kitchen area and bathroom with shower enclosure are all on the ground floor. Sleeping area is on the mezzanine with 1 double bed, 1 Single bed and a wardrobe. TV, wifi and A/C are also included. Accommodates up to 3 people.
Close to the beach (70 m), with windsurfing and other water sports, close to super markets, restaurants, playgrounds, all within walking distance. Located 7km from the airport and the town of Rhodes. You’ll adore my place because of the the beach, the great sunsets, the neighbourhood and the family friendliness, the garden with roses, boucanvilias and fig trees. It is superb for couples, families (with kids), windsurfers and kitesurfers.
The apartment shares a large pool with sunbeds and space to relax.

For stays longer than 7 nights, we offer a complimentary cleaning session along with fresh sheets and towels.
We also provide a couple of pods for the washing machine should you wish to do some laundry.

Ialyssos is one of the largest villages on the island of Rhodes, located on the island's north-western coast. Ialyssos was one of the first three ancient cities dating back to 3000BC. Here you will find one of the most important archaeological sites on the island on the hill of Filerimos. Here you will find the remains of the Acropolis of Ialyssos with the temple of Zeus and Athena, the remnants of the Byzantine fortifications, the 14th century church of the Knights of St. John and the 14 stops Jesus took to the road of Calvery, a path of Cypress trees with impressive shrines on both sides.

Dark, Dreary & Dated

We found the property very dated & could do with a make over. Stained cushions dated brown furniture and bedroom upstairs eery The neighbourhood very rundown, dog mess everywhere and piles of rubbish in the street We booked to stay 6 nights we stayed for 2 nights and left

Excellent!!

We spent a wonderful month of October 2015 in Villa Mylos in ATHENA studio. It is spacious, clean, all sheets and towels provided and in a traditonal style furnished with a mezzanine floor where you can also sleep . It has a nice bathroom shower and an equipped kitchenette We enjoyed ourselves sitting on our wooden veranda looking at the Aegean Sea, watching romantic sunsets. We could go swimming every day in only 2 min. walk to the beach. Our landlady Katerina was very friendly, informative and the most hospitable representative Greek. She guided us around the island and also offered us visits to her home village Platania and great food at Tsampikas House. She also offered to drive us to town for sightseeing and attend the Greek National Parade. We had a lovely and friendly genuine Greek holidays in Villa Mylos and Katerina. We hope we can come back one day and visit some of the nearby islands, too. !2/10 for us, an unforgettable experience.

MAGNIFIQUE

Nous (une maman avec sa fille de 17 ans) avons passé une séjour de rêve grâce à Katarina qui est la propriétaire de Villa Mylos et aussi un(e) guide passionnée par Rhodos. La mer est à deux pas. Une taverne typique et pleine de charme juste à côté… tout ça à l'ombre d'un bougainvilliers. L'eau du robinet - un régale. Un petit vent qui fait oublier la grosse chaleur. Magnifique ! Reposant ! Important pour les ados : il y a la WiFi !

Kurzurlaub

Wir waren zu viert (Männerurlaub) bei Katerina, die super freundlich und hilfsbereit war, zu Gast. Bei der Schlüsselübergabe gab es nur eine Komplikation die sich jedoch innerhalb von 5 Minuten und einem Anruf lösen ließ. Wir hatten von unserer Veranda direkten Meerblick und die Wohnung war insgesamt sehr zufriedenstellend. Das Bad war sauber und die Küche, obwohl sie sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist, nutzbar. Wir haben dort nur Frühstück zubereitet und sind dann abends immer fußläufig essen gegangen. Von der Wohnung zum Strand (Stein) waren es nur 70 Meter und man konnte dort Liegen für 5 Euro pro Liege mieten. Im Apartment gab es 5 Schlafmöglichkeiten, ein Doppelbett, ein Einzelbett, ein "Suki" und ein Schlafsofa. Die Matratzen der Betten waren leider etwas hart aber daran hatten wir uns nach der ersten Nacht gewöhnt. Durch die Klimaanlage die sehr gut funktionierte konnten wir auch die Nacht gut überleben. Auch die generelle Lage des Apartments war sehr komfortabel, da ein größerer Supermarkt und auch die Bushaltestelle in nur 5 Minuten erreichbar waren. Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden, jedoch muss man auch sagen, dass die Gegend dort eher für Familien oder ältere Personen geeignet ist, da dort generell weniger los ist und wir (20 jährige) nicht viele gleichaltrige gesehen haben. Preis-Leistung war wirklich sehr gut.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Studio heel dicht bij zee en dicht bij centrum van Lalyssos. Mooie uitvalsbasis om Rhodos te verkennen. Studio helemaal prima. Katerina de verhuurster is erg aardig. 1e klas gids om de geschiedenis van Rhodos te ontdekken en de andere bezienswaardigheden op het eiland. Al met al een echte aanrader!!

Lage ok - schöne Wohnung - Umgebung & Wohnung mäßig sauber und gepflegt

Insgesamt muss man sagen, dass die Wohnung nicht besonders sauber war. Es gibt viele Ameisen und die Küche ist ziemlich „gammelig“ (Modergeruch in den Schränken, sehr schmutzige Fugen etc.). Kochen macht in dieser Küche keinen Spaß. Auch die Ausstattung lässt vieles vermissen. Im Außenbereich steht ein sehr kaputtes und damit gefährliches Trampolin und einiger anderer Unrat. Die Lage ist gut. Der Strand ist ok aber steinig und das Wasser leider nicht besonders schön. Ansonsten findet man in der Nähe viele sehr gute Restaurants, Shops und Bars. Bis nach Rhodos ist es mit einem Auto ein Katzensprung. Die Beauftragte des Vermieters, Katarina, war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Sie hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Die Insel Rhodos selber ist sehr vermüllt und ungepflegt. Es gibt auffällig viele Bauruinen, aber auch viele, sehr gepflegte, wunderschöne Strände. Rhodos Stadt ist einfach beeindruckend und im Gegensatz zu einem Großteil der Insel sauber und gepflegt.

Eine traumhafte Oase - nur einen Katzensprung vom Meer entfernt

Wir hatten eine wirklich wundervolle Woche in der Villa Mylos! Die Gastgeberin Katerina ist sehr gastfreundlich und zugleich professionell - sowohl die Kommunikation per Email im Vorfeld als auch die Gespräche vor Ort mit ihr waren sehr zuvorkommend. Von Katerina und ihrem Sohn wurden wir freundlich in Empfang genommen und erhielten nützliche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Apartment selbst ist liebevoll gestaltet und sehr gut ausgestattet - es bietet einfach allen Komfort, den man sich während eines Urlaubs wünschen kann. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem malerischen und duftenden Garten, in dem man auf Wunsch sogar frische Kräuter ernten darf. Und die Lage ist unübertroffen! Das wunderhübsch verwinkelte Haus liegt in direkter Meeresnähe, so dass sich ein Besuch am Strand unkompliziert mit Touren zur Erkundung der Insel kombinieren lässt. Der Strand selbst ist traumhaft gelegen, mit einem tollen Ausblick und der Ausrichtung nach Westen, so dass man dort in den Abendstunden den Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Es gibt eine Dusche und man kann Sonnenschirme und -liegen mieten. Vom Apartment aus lassen sich alle wichtigen Dinge des täglichen Lebens fußläufig erreichen. In direkter Umgebung finden sich zahlreiche Restaurants, Tavernen und Cafés. Auch gibt es wenige Gehminuten entfernt einen großen Supermarkt sowie kleinere Geschäfte mit Lebensmitteln, Souvenirs und Strandzubehör. An der nahe gelegenen Bushaltestelle an der Hauptstraße verkehrt regelmäßig einen Bus in Richtung Rhodos Stadt oder in Richtung Flughafen. Für längere Touren an Orte, die mit dem Bus nicht so gut zu erreichen sind, kann man an mehreren Verleihstationen vor Ort einen fahrbaren Untersatz mieten. Ialysos ist ein großartiger Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel Rhodos kennen zu lernen - in direkter Nähe zum Flughafen und zu Rhodos Stadt, von dem aus sich im Rahmen einer Tagestour alle anderen Ziele auf der Insel gut erreichen lassen. Wir sind dankbar und glücklich, dass wir die Villa Mylos Studios entdeckt haben. Wir werden gern wieder kommen und sie von Herzen weiter empfehlen!

Fantastic vacation at Athena Studio

In June 2016 my husband, daughter and myself visited Athena studio for the third time and really enjoyed by our vacation! The studio is very cozy and comfortable, with the great view on the Aegean sea, well-equipped, clean and ideally located. From Athena studio so easy to get everywhere from there - to the beach and restourants, car rent and supermarkets! Airport is in 15 minutes by taxi. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to windsurf, go to the Rhodos town, discover the island and have a private staying. Owner Katerina is attentive and responsive person, always help in order to make the vacation perfect. For sure, we will come back again to the Athena Studio!

A quiet and relaxing get-away

I booked the Athena apartment by phone and for a 4 month period. I received an immediate response from the owner Katerina who provided me with helpful information and tips upon arrival. She is hospitable and continues to be a great support with her excellent knowledge of the history of Rhodes. The property is ideal for families with children since it's landscaped, with grass and is surrounded by a hedge. It's ideally located close to the beach and in a very quiet area. There are still plenty of amenities nearby, restaurants, cafe, bars and supermarkets. The apartment itself is well decorated with a private veranda and a wonderful seaview. The beds are clean and the rooms are well maintained. All in all a wonderful spot to rediscover my parents' birthplace.

Tolle Ferien in Villa Mylos

Wir (beide 24 Jahre) waren eine Woche im Apartment Athena. Die Ausstattung war wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und das sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zu zweit hatten wir mehr als genug Platz in dem Apartment. Die Terrasse und auch der Garten um die Villa herum waren sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Katerina ist eine liebe Gastgeberin, die ihre Gäste mit sehr guten Tipps zu Stränden, Ausflügen und Restaurants und ab und zu mit Kuchen verwöhnt. Bei Fragen und Problemen hilft sie gerne weiter und war sehr bemüht, dass es uns gut ging und gefiel. Die Lage der Anlage ist sehr gut. Bushaltestelle mit guter Anbindung an Flughafen und Rhodos-Stadt (und von dort Anbindung in alle RIchtungen), Supermarkt, Strand und weitere Geschäfte sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dennoch liegt die Villa in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Die Zahlungsabwicklung hat sehr gut funktioniert. Auch konnten wir alle Fragen bereits vor der Abreise per Mail mit Katerina klären. Wir können die Apartments nur weiter Empfehlen. Es war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit!

Super tolles Appartement

Wir bewohnten das Appartment 20 Tage lang und waren von Anfang an begeistert. Als wir es zum ersten mal betraten staunten wir über diese sehr großzügige Appartement. Die Einrichtung reichte von Waschmaschine, Herd+Ofen bis zum obligatorischen Toaster. Es war sehr gut ausgestattet. Katerina, die Vermieterin, war sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Sie kann viel erzählen und das ein oder andere Mal wurden wir von Ihr mit Kleinigkeiten kulinarisch versorgt. 2 Feigenbäume im Garten steigerten unsere Vitaminzufuhr, man durfte so viele Feigen pflücken wie man konnte. Die Lage zum Meer ist spitze. Ein paar Schritte und man war am Strand. Rund ums Appartment fand man eine gute Infrastruktur, Restaurants, Supermärkte, eine Diskothek und viel mehr. Alle 15 Minuten geht ein Bus nach Rhodos Stadt. Dieser fährt bis um 23:00 Uhr, somit kann man auch noch spät Abends die Stadt günstig besuchen. Abschließend kann ich dieses Appartment nur empfehlen. Echt genial. Danke nochmal an Katerina :D
