The property is set in 10,000 sq. mtrs. of orange groves, lemons, figs, avocados, grapefruit, mangoes, grapes, olives and almonds. Fabulous views to the mountains. Half way between Malaga and Marbella, and only a five minute drive into the town of Coin with all its amenities, restaurants and bars. 25 minutes to the coast. Golf, riding, sailing, tennis, quad bikes, scrambling, etc can all be arranged. One double and two twin bedrooms. Next to the pool there is an outside seating area under cover from the sun and also an outside dining area similarly protected. The owner lives in a separate house which is the only other property on the site. The property is fenced with electric gates and therefore secure with ample parking. Washing machine, Dishwasher, Free WiFi, Television. Wheelchair friendly.

Lovely villa, with lovely views

I absolutely loved the villa and the owners four dogs made my holiday, they were so friendly. Perfect location for discovering this part of Spain. Highly recommended

Lovely peaceful holiday

We had a lovely week here, the outside space was fantastic and we spent a lot of time cooling off in the pool. The property is set in a beautiful rural location, but only about a 10 minute drive from Coin which has plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. We both enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing

Love this finca !

This is the second time we have stayed here and to me its perfect. I love having a pool to myself and the looking out to such an amazing view, its wonderful. Shout out to Millie for how clean and tidy the property was left for us, really appreciate it and cant wait to come back. Word to anyone renting in this area, you do need a car as its quite off the beaten track with a lot of pot holes in the road outside, we thought it added to the authenticity of living rural and had no problem getting around. Coin is great you have both a Lidil and Aldi. Cant wait to come back.

Disappointing

unfortunately. Villa was a little dirty. Had to clean floors. Oven .kitchen worktops and bathroom. Before settling in. The owner is a lovely man. But is struggling to maintain villa due to health issues. Outside furniture very dirty with dog prints all over cushions. As four dogs regularly visit . We like dogs but could be off putting to some. And if children there. As 1 small 2 like jack Russell's but longer legs and one large who rules the roost and can get nasty towards others. Finca way out and a car is a must. Even just to go to rubbish bins as situated a long way down road. Unfortunately we would not return.

These guests reserved and paid for 2 people but at times there were between 4 & 6 staying. There was a broken single bed when they left which they did not report. I would not accept another booking from them.

Convenient, picturesque setting.

The property, although not large had everything we needed, open plan kitchen, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and lounge with fire. A double and two twin bedrooms and bathroom. Lovely patios, two with shade, seating and dining facilities and a pool which was lovely in size but needed cleaning. It was mid winter so we couldn't swim anyway so the cleanliness if the pool wasn't a concern. The property is surrounded by citrus trees and electronic gates. The host Adrian was lovely and couldn't do enough to help. However, he does have 4 exuberant dogs although they are friendly and can be kept out of the property and pool areas. There is parking for a couple of cars too. We fully enjoyed our time there and the weather was good (January/February) around 15-22c days and 8c or more nights. The property is about 2-3 miles from the centre of Coin where you can find a number of supermarkets and other shopping facilities. There are other towns and villages within 15 minutes drive too. The coast is about 40 minutes depending on the route taken. A car is a necessity. We thought it was good value for money and would use this place again.

Finka Lioness

My 2 little boys and I have just returned from a perfect week in Spain staying at Finka Lioness. Due to various delays we didn’t arrive at the house until 10pm. Despite being several hours later than planned, we were warmly welcomed by Mildred who was extremely helpful in showing us round and explaining the need to knows of the house. It was dark when we arrived however this made waking up the next morning to the spectacular views and the beauty of the place much more special. Each morning I enjoyed a coffee outside overlooking the views of the sun rising from behind the hills, this is something I could never get bored of seeing, it was stunning! The week we stayed was particularly hot, this made us appreciate the pool (and our air con) a whole lot more. The water was perfect to cool down in and remained lovely and warm through the evening meaning night time swims were pleasant too. The pool has 4 steps down then initially is fairly shallow, this was perfect for my two little boys to safely enjoy the water. The pool then gradually gets much deeper meaning it’s also perfect for adults. There were noises of dogs barking at times through the night and the little road along the front of the house was busier at times than I had expected it to be, however I believe every new place has different noises that you soon get used to. The house is located a couple of minutes drive down a bumpy track to reach the main road, then another 5-10 minutes along the road to Coin. This was my first time driving on the right and found this drive easily manageable. Coin has many shops, restaurants and pretty much everything you could need. The remoteness of the house meant that my boys and I could relax and make noise without disturbing others. There is an electric gate requiring key entry to get on to the driveway meaning I also felt safe and secure staying here. The owners house is set back a bit behind the holiday house, however we had complete privacy and were able to roam freely round the house and garden without being overlooked. This house was perfect for us to experience real Spain rather than being restricted to the busy tourist holiday resorts. The area is beautiful to drive round with many breathtaking views and lovely places to explore. Overall we all had a lovely stay and hope to come back and see Mildred again soon.

Decepción

Las fotos son mucho mejores de lo que la casa es en sí. Se nota que está muy envejecida y que no se renuevan las cosas. Lavaplatos roto, pitido continuo en el aparato antiincendios,...sin contar las más de 100 avispas que había diariamente en la piscina haciendo imposible la entrada por las escaleras. Estuvimos sin agua 3 días, rellenaron el depósito y al de 2 días volvimos a quedarnos sin agua, y nos dijeron que habíamos sido nosotros, en ningún momento malgastamos agua, además ya pagamos una buena suma por 15 días como para tener que andar racionando el agua como si estuviéramos en la posguerra. Íbamos al baño y teníamos que echar botellas de agua por el retrete,fregar en una cazuela,... Muy muy muy cara para el estado de la casa. No repetiría.

Peace, total peace

I noticed a few reviews that were negative when I looked at this property but I always like to check things out for myself and so I booked it for a week. We were met at the property by Mildred, a lovely lady who showed us around and explained all the nuances of the property. There were a few issues that we encountered but I do not rate properties on the negatives but rather on wether the negatives are addressed when the owner or their agents are made aware of them. The days we were there were cold and though I followed the instructions in the manual I could not get the AC heating function to work but a call to Adrian fixed that problem immediately. There is nothing lacking when it came to the comforts of home, and in fact this property had more than most that we have stayed at. Unfortunately due to personal reasons we had to cut our stay short and return home mid-week but I would not hesitate to book this property again or to recommend it to others and I look forwards to a future visit.

Had a lovely relaxing time at this lovely finca😎

Well equipped with all that you need, had a lovely relaxing stay, just chilling by the pool, relaxing swim in the lovely weather, and a cosy log fire to sit at in the chilly evenings. Friendly wee Popeye the dog came to visit when we were home, but if you don't want him in you just shut the gate, although he only wants to sit and sunbathe with you:) would definitely recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet, would hope to come back here

Grottenschlecht bis Miserable !!

Urlaube werden immer gut, wenn man sie gut gestalte. Doch stimmt in der Unterkunft schon nichts von dem, wie sie angepriesen wird, ist die Stimmung unten und das „Gestallten“ findet seine Grenze. Wir mieteten für 5 Wochen dieses Ferienhaus mit 180qm an. Das Haus hat aber nur 65qm. Es ist eine runtergekommene Behausung, die verschmutzt ist. Ohne eine Grundreinigung ist hier wohnen und vor allem Wohlfühlen ausgeschlossen. Hier fanden wir Spinnweben die ca. 1 Meter hoch und 30cm breit waren, einen verdreckten Kamin mir vollem Aschenkasten, verdreckte Polster innen und zerschleißende, zerrissene Polster außen. unbrauchbare verschmutzte Spülbürste und rostige Siebe. Das Geschirr war nicht ausreichend vorhanden. Unter dem Sofa lagen noch Süßigkeiten vom Vormieter. Die bereitgestellte Wäsche und die Handtücher lagen unsortiert, zusammengeworfen in den Schränken. Schlafsäcke mit dunkel gefärbten Urinränder. Einen Außengrill, den man vor dem Benutzen erst von den Wurst - und Fleischresten des Vormieters reinigen musste. Den Duschkopf musste man in der Hand halten, weil ihn die defekte Wandbefestigung nicht hielt. Wir schrieben den Vermieter an, listeten die Punkte auf und versuchten mit Ihm einen Ortstermin zu vereinbaren. Der Vermieter wohnt ca. 40m Luftlinie über dem Ferienhaus. Wir luden Ihn zum Kaffee ein. Er meldete sich nicht und auch nachdem wir die Buchungsplattform telefonisch baten mit Ihm Kontakt aufzunehmen, meldete er sich nicht dort und nicht bei uns. Wir erstellten auf Anraten FeWos Fotos und sandten diese an FeWo-direkt um unsere Vorwürfe zu beweisen. Nach 72 Stunden schrieben wir den Vermieter an und baten Ihn uns einen geringen Anteil der Kosten zu erstatten und wir möchten nur noch das Haus verlassen. Wir fühlten uns sehr unwohl und allein durch die Größenangabe betrogen. Nun meldete sich auch der Vermieter und wollte uns die Summe X erstatten, wenn wir nach einer Woche das Haus verlassen. Genau das wollten wir nur noch und gingen. Wenn überhaupt von uns ein Stern vergeben wird, dann nur für die 4 Hunde. Das letzte Mal, dass ich in einer solchen Behausung untergebracht war, war vor 40 Jahren in Algerien. Ich hätte es nicht für möglich gehalten, dass es so etwas noch in Europa gibt. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder!

Excellent stay

Adrian was the perfect host, he does live on site, but you would not know it, he respects your privacy, but at the same time, if you need anything he is there. the finca is as described, and the description is very accurate, pool very clean, probably the best we have had in 6 years of renting, small word of warning he does have 4 dogs, who are very friendly, but 2 of them do like to get into the pool given half a chance, which we found amusing, but not very good for the pool, but they can be kept out as long as you keep the gates shut, so not a problem for us, (just in case you dont like dogs), Coin itself has everything you need, and has 4 supermarkets, and now has the addition of an new aldi, the town itself is very clean and tidy, with plenty of bars and restaurants and attractions, the Village of Monda is a 15 min drive and is worth a visit for its market (Tuesdays), and its olive mill, where you can buy the local proper oil, all in all would recommend this Finca, Adrian communications before and during our stay were very good

mooie omgeving, huis kon properder

de omgeving (Sierra de las Nieves) is schitterend. Het huis was niet proper gepoetst - zeer stoffig. Schimmel in de badkamer. Door de loslopende honden (4) moet je door een sluis van 2 poorten telkens je het terrein oprijdt of weg rijdt, en moet je er op letten dat de honden niet op straat lopen - is geen taak voor iemand op vakantie.

Lovely Stay

Had a great time,directions from Adrian were spot on.The finca was lovely and set in beautiful surroundings but a car is essential even though the town is not far away the road is not suitable for walking. The pool is excellent with plenty of shaded and full sun sitting areas. There is aircon in all bedrooms and living room if needed. Adrian told us to help ourselves to lemons,grapes,figs and oranges from the trees which was very nice .The town of Coin is lovely to wander around and to sit and enjoy a drink and snack.Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing break.We stayed for a month and the time flew by.The village of Mijas Pueblo is stunning and only a 30 minute drive with fantastic restaurants.

Finca just outside of Coin, near Marbella, Spain

The Finca is typically Spanish with tiled floors and a lovely peaceful view over the campo. We hired a car to explore and it was an easy drive to Marbella, which we did several times, but taxis aren't that expensive. There are several large supermarkets in the town and a market on Sunday mornings. The washing machine was really useful and there was generally a cooling breeze around the Finca, in its pleasant bbq- dining/socialising areas at the front and the side.

I am retired with 4 children and 5 grandchildren who live in the UK. I grew up and have lived most of my life in Tunbridge Wells and went to St Pauls School in London. I spend a lot of my time on my yacht which is moored in Benalmadena. I have been coming to this area for some years, as my father bought his first flat in Marbella some 60 years ago.
