The Angel Cottage with a sauna and amazing views

Enjoy a quite neighborhood, just a couple of minutes from town on the way up to Mt Shasta, for a summit attempt or just take a nice walk from the Angel Cottage. You may open the french doors to a deck that has the full view to embrace the beauty of Mt. Shasta and a sauna for your use. Close by is two beautiful parks to choose from. One being the Head waters of the Sacramento River, the other is Shastice Park for tennis, picnic, ice skating, rollerblading, etc.
Take a drive up the Mountain for its many options of joy or stay at home in the Angel Cottage and enjoy the Mountain from your own private deck or you can have a sauna and relax in the comforts of home in peace and harmony. The Cottage has a artists mural on all the walls, the feel of nature inside also with three angels beautifully woven in the scenery.
Full kitchenette, mini fridge, toaster oven, three plug in burners,
All you need for the comforts of home to cook a meal, or sit and watch the smart tv, netflix or youtube.
A comfortable queen size bed, sleeper sofa and a nice bathroom with tube and shower.
Pets are considered
We live on the same property tho the Angel Cottage is private just the same.

The back porch view of Mount Shasta is AMAZING. Just what i needed to wake up and go to bed to during my solo retreat. Fred and Mary were super respectful of the space and created a easygoing kitchen with the essentials - 2 hot plates, a large toaster oven, microwave, and an electric water kettle. It was easy enough for me to prepare all my meals. The bed was firm which was nice after my day of treks. Everything is a maximum of 10 minutes to town and 4 minutes to the Sacramento headwaters. I definitely will stay again when I come back.

Second time staying….

I love this place and would visit it again. This was my second stay. Very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the mountain.

Comfortable Cabin

Beautiful view of Mt Shasta from back patio. Comfortable bed and all we needed in the. Living area for our brief stay.Owners responded immediately to small blockage in bath and fixed it.We would choose this cabin if we need accommodation again in this area of CA

Great experience

We loved staying in the Angel Cottage. It was close enough to town for easy trips in, with a nice little hiking trail just 1/2 mile away. It was far enough from town that it was extremely quiet, and very private, with an amazing view of Shasta.It's probably a bit tight for a couple and children, or 2 couples, but it worked for two friends and our 2 dogs. The couch was comfortable enough for me to sleep on without pulling it out (and I'm short enough). The little kitchen had everything we needed.

Amazing Mountain View!

Angel Cottage is my favorite special retreat space. It’s cozy, close to everything, and the Mountain View from the big picture window is awesome

The Angel Cottage- PERFECT for Mount Shasta Magic

Out of love for our VERY gracious hosts/owners of The Angel Cottage, in Mount Shasta, CA, do we share this review. Have you ever stayed in a location so special, so sacred, that you don't want to share the details with anyone? The human nature in me did not want to write this review, but the better Angel in me knows I must share this blessed location with others. EVERYTHING about The Angel Cottage is sheer magic! From the accommodation itself, to the stunning view from your private deck of Moon Mountain, plus the positive energy that recharges one's self totally. This stay is one of the best of our lives! Our hosts, Fred and Mary, were most gracious AND grace filled. We ADORE them and are so thankful they share their property with guests who wish to connect with something much larger than themselves; Mount Shasta! We will be back to The Angel Cottage, the sooner the better. Fred and Mary, we hold you and your soul swooning location in radical gratitude. As Blake says: "gratitude is heaven itself." Cozy and private

Overall I had a wonderful time at the angel cottage. The location was beautiful with a view of Mt. Shasta on your private deck. The outdoor Sauna was just a few steps away. It was easy to operate. The space itself was very comfortable and cozy. I did have trouble with getting the warm water to work in the shower. I tried texting, calling and messaging the host but I wasn’t able to get a reply from them in time. I wasn’t able to take a shower and that’s what I was looking forward to the most especially since I came from a long drive from Los Angeles. This was on July 4th so maybe they were out doing Things around town. I did get a phone call back from the host but missed it, at that time I was already checked out and on the road heading to Oregon. Despite the cold shower, I would stay here again!

Cute Cottage Great View

Perfect place for a long ski weekend. The cottage: Size and amenities was just right. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. The view is amazing. The location is quiet. A great place to recharge.

Lovely view of Mount Shasta

I loved my stay at the little cottage at Mount Shasta. Everything you could possibly need was there. The host were wonderful. I got a massage. Mary and Fred were very kind to make sure I had everything I needed. There was even extra little touches of things and the view was just beautiful. Thank you so much, Fred and Mary

That view!!

The cottage was very comfortable and the weather was perfect. Our amazing view of Mt. Shasta from the deck varied every day, but was always gorgeous. We wished there were screens on some of the French doors, since the weather was beautiful and the cottage would get too warm in the afternoon and evening. We did use the fresh air fan on the air conditioner, which was okay. Our hosts were very nice and very responsive to our questions and requests. Some people have written that the location isn’t very private, but we didn’t see another soul during the five days we stayed. There was a dog that was left outside, barking, several times a day. At least it wasn’t too loud or late at night. The main house is quite close but is well screened by trees and shrubbery. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

Sweet cottage space. Really well appointed. Spectacular view and quiet. Kind and warm hosts.

With Mt Shasta as the amazing backdrop to our 1 night stay, we were warmly welcomed and had an easy time settling in. Comfortable, clean, lots of amenities. Enjoy your stay!

Wonderful stay!

Hi Mary, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at your sweet cottage. You've arranged it so that it has everything one might need without seeming crowded...so that it's warm and welcoming. I especially loved the plates, and all the kitchen equipment, since I was cooking all my meals. One item you might check into is a mildew smell in the bathroom. I kept the bathroom window open to reduce moisture, and also kept the bathroom door closed to minimize any mold spore intrusion into the main cottage. This might be something other people wouldn't notice; I'm particularly sensitive to mold, so wanted to bring it to your attention. Again, thank you for a wonderful stay, and some fun moments with your pup! All best, Katrin
