Beautiful Andalucian cottage with Sea & Mountain Views and stunning pool

Set in the breathtakingly beautiful mountains of Costa Almeria in Andalucia ,this 2 bedrooms casita (cottage) provides an idyllic setting for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family holiday.
Situated 4Kms from the pretty whitewashed village of Bedar and 20 minutes drive from the coastal resort of Mojacar , you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside but the vibrant bustle of the coast is within easy access.
The casita has 2 bedrooms, 1 large double with air conditioning and 1 smaller room with single bed and ceiling fan. It has a modern shower room with walk in shower, toilet and wash basin.
Fans are provided in all rooms.
The casita is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and the fabulous outside areas and pool are well maintained with everything you need to enjoy the Spanish sun in style!
We live in the main house which is adjacent to the casita so are on hand to provide any help or advice you may need. As well as the welcome pack on arrival a weekly linen/towel change is provided. Towels for use around the pool are also provided. Imagine yourself arriving in this Andalucian paradise with everything waiting for you, giving you peace of mind that someone is working hard to ensure you have a truly enjoyable holiday.
The lounge and kitchen area is open plan with comfortable seating and a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, cooker, kettle and all crockery etc. free wifi available and even a log burning fire for the cooler months.
Outside there are large terraced areas which provide stunning panoramic views of the mountains and village one one side and unobstructed views of the coast on the other. There is large swimming pool with a maximum depth of 1.40metres and comfortable sun beds and shaded areas. A barbecue and outside seating are provided.
At night the outside takes on a completely different atmosphere with fabulous lighting, perfect for enjoying alfresco dining or maybe even a midnight swim!
The mountains do provide a welcome breeze but the property has several sail shades installed to protect you from the strong Spanish sun, even when you are in the pool some shade can be found depending on time of day. For those who love the sun the area boasts one of the sunniest climates in the whole of Spain with over 300 days of sunshine a year.

Surrounding Area.

The quaint white washed village of Bedar nestled in the hillside of Sierra Filabres is located just 4 Kim's away and boasts a bakery, chemist, bank, a small supermarket and 4 bars / restaurants where you can enjoy traditional local cuisine. The village with its meandering streets is an ideal location to take an evening stroll before dinner. The hills around the village has many fabulous walks where you can enjoy the magnificent scenery and incredible wildlife; ibex, partridge, eagle owls and tortoise are often seen in this area.
In the distance are the coastal areas of Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar with many stunning beaches to choose from. The pretty village of Mojacar is a short drive away and is brimming with charm and character. It has many bars/restaurants and souvenir shops to explore as you wind your way through its cobbled streets which are steeped in history.
Further afield are lots of places of interest including the famous Cabo de Gata national park (30 minutes drive) which boosts incredible beach’s, coves and stunning natural beauty,Lorca (40 minute drive) with its impressive 13th century castle; Cartagena (90 minute drive) has amazing Roman ruins as well as many other historical attractions. Granada and the famous Alhambra palace is well worth the 2 hour drive and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada is also in Granada.
The city of Almeria is just an hours drive and its cosmopolitan atmosphere provides an interesting contrast along side it's ramblas and the Alcabaza castle dating from the 10th century. Not forgetting it's great shopping and numerous tapas bars.


We meet and greet all our guests personally and we are always available for any help or advice you may require during your stay. We can offer information regarding the local area and we are happy to provide our suggestions regarding bars, restaurants, shopping and activities.
We provide a welcome pack on your arrival including beer and wine to help get your holiday off to a great start. We can also supply an assortment of floats,toys and games for any children for use around the pool and can even set up the water volley ball net if your feeling energetic!
