The Georgia "Rocky River Lodge" (and her sister "Riverstone Lodge (VRBO #324274") is your dream cabin that is large enough to accommodate large groups that gives you the rustic cabin feel with all the features you would have at home! Located directly on the river we have all the amenities including canoes, kayaks and tubes that are provided for your enjoyment along with a basket ball court, volleyball court, horse shoes and for a memorable vacation in the North Georgia Mountains near the quaint town of Ellijay.

Our upscale cabin is located in the beautiful gated river community of Coosawattee River Resort situated directly on the Coosawattee River.

This was our second stay at Rocky River Lodge, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first! We rented both cabins with my side of the family and had such an amazing time together. The setting is just perfect—nestled in the mountains and right on the river. We spent our days canoeing, kayaking, and tubing, and our evenings roasting s’mores around the fire and laughing together under the stars.It’s such a special place for making family memories, and we’re already talking about when we can come back again. Everything was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, and the owners clearly put a lot of care into making it a welcoming getaway. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful and fun mountain escape!

This place is beyond fantastic! The view of the water is unbelievable, the place on the creek to swim and tube is terrific, and there are loads of activities. This is a gem of place to stay!Literally the only downside I can think of was that we couldn’t figure out how to get good old fashioned cable on any of the TV’s. There were like 900 bizarre channels but the classic cable TV package could not be found, so trying to watch playoff baseball and football required a laptop and an HDMI cord.That’s literally the only low note I’ve got - I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our family of 17 stayed at Rocky River for the first time this past weekend, for a 4 day, 3 night trip, our first family trip in 10 years. Our stay was absolute perfection! The lodge easily accommodated us (the grandparents), 3 sets of parents, each with 3 children - ages infant to 18 years. We all slept very comfortably, in our own space. The lodge is stunning, with everything we needed. We brought food and drink, including the makings for smores by the firepit. Although it was cold (of course), a few of our crew got in and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful river, both swimming around in it and then taking the "littles" out one at a time, in the canoe that was provided with the lodge. We enjoyed everything the ideal home had to offer and the memories our family made will last lifetimes. We can't thank the owners enough, for sharing their home with others, to allow us this special time as a family. No one wanted to leave and we are already trying to pick a date for next year's trip for an even longer stay!There is absolutely no way to be disappointed in choosing to stay at Rocky River.

Yes we enjoyed the Scenic view everything was great except some of the throw pillows and the big swingon the patio was filthy. We had to flip over the padding in order to sit on it. I left a cardboard box inside the house we forgot to remove it I apologize for that.We was on the road when I realized we forgot to put it on the back on the truck. We cleaned the house and put everything back like we found it.Thank you for sharing your home with my family Lawanda

Everything about this day was wonderful. The facility is great. It’s clean. The kitchen is well stocked and maintained. All of the information is up-to-date and very thorough and the homeowner is a pleasure to deal with. I would strongly recommend this property.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. There were beds for 7 adults and 8 kids and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location on the river was perfect for the kids (ages 5 - 16)... beach area, shallow water and deep water. We were able to float down the river and come out at the house. We enjoyed both the short and long floats down the river. The hot tub was a nice plus. The hosts were very helpful and answered our questions and requests quickly. We are hoping to come back again next summer! We would definitely recommend this cabin.

We had a wonderful time. Plenty of activities at the property which was great since it rained some every day. Lots of activities in the area including fishing, rafting, hiking seeing waterfalls including Amicalola Falls, nice restaurants like the Roof. It was very relaxing and all 17 of us had space to spread out. The owners were very helpful and contacted us on our. Very nice and informative about the area. It was exactly what we all wanted. Wonderful home on the river with lots of room. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table and the river was beautiful. Lots of amenities and the owners were wonderful to communicate with.

Beautiful location

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. There was 14 of us that stayed three nights for a prayer summit. It was beautiful, inside and out! There were plenty of kitchen items, and the layout worked well for us! The kitchen supported several woman cooking and prepping, with lots of counter space! The water was amazing and we enjoyed the river and all the animals! The owners were very communicative and helpful!! We would definitely use the home again!!

Great cabin with lots to do!

The cabin was well suited for our big group of friends. The big hot tub, basketball court, volleyball court, and the river provided us with lots to do outside on top of the spacious inside area. The house was well stocked with kitchen items and lots of beds. No regular, unbroken ping pong balls were available though.

Hi, my name is Sarah Hamilton. Our family recently purchased our second cabin "Rocky River Lodge" which is the sister cabin located next door to Riverstone Lodge. We as a family have been upgrading the two cabins trying to make the two best destinations around. Being somewhat local living in Douglasville we still enjoying getting away the North Georgia Mountains!

In all our travels in North Georgia we could not find any other cabin with its location on the water that gave us the feel and sound of the rushing waters! And the fact its in a gated community of the Coosawattee River resort allows for a safe and enjoyable environment. The cabin its self is located on a wide river with many beautiful rapids, which allows for canoeing, kayaking, and tube trips. And you cannot forget the fishing and swimming! That's why we now have both sister cabins!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The cabin has just about everything you could imagine! We offer at no charge canoes and tubes. Many renters put in above us up the river and float down to our back yard! We have a basket ball court, volleyball court, horse shoes and shuffle board, 7 person hot tub along with incredible views and a water presence second to none. And then you have the game room with a pool table, ping pong, and foosball tables! You will be entertained and laid back. And if you still need the flat screen tv's and internet we have that too!

On top of that, we have another "sister cabin" owned and operated by the same people. If you are looking to have a larger gathering , book both of our properties easily.
