Offering a 3BR 1.5 bath home for vacation rental. This home is located 1.1 mile to Virginia Beach's oceanfront. It is one block away from the trail (bike or walk) that lead directly to the oceanfront.

This home is approximately 1100 sf . Home has been remodeled and features a large shaded backyard for entertaining and dining (charcoal grill on premise). Home is equipped with central air and heat for indoor comfort. There are tables, umbrellas and chairs for outdoor dining. The backyard is fenced for maximum privacy during your stay.

There is one king size and two queen size beds. There are 2 large flat screen TVs as well. Home has linen, towels, dishes, flatware, coffee maker (Kuerig), blender, toaster and basic cookware.
I'm a licensed real estate agent; however this is my personal real estate that I'm offering for rent.

The maximum occupancy for this home is 8. A larger home that we own directly across the street has a maximum occupancy of 10 (listing #462437) and a 3br 2 bath home next door has an occupancy of 9 ( listing # 1213327).
This house is on lockbox and confirmed guest will be given the lockbox code by noon the day of checkin.
WiFi and basic house info is provided in the house manual.

These homes are located in a quiet residential neighborhood and can not be used as a “party" house. Small gatherings are fine.

Absolutely no smokers; inside or out! Owner has a severe allergy to smoke!

Great trip!

The owner is amazing, no trouble at all with communication. The home is clean and cozy, perfect for our family.I loved the beach vibe and appreciated that it came fully stocked with everything needed for our stay.Will definitely come again!

Comfortable Little Cottage

Great getaway

Nice, clean, 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house in a nice neighborhood and close to the beach. Property manager stayed in touch the whole time making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely rent again.

It was clean and cozy! Quiet neighborhood! Friendly property managers! They answered every question I had in a timely manner and even emailed me to make sure our stay was going well! Would definitely book with them again!!

The 3 C's (Cozy, Clean, Comfy)

I was attending a church conference in Virginia Beach with 2 friends. The conference was at the convention center and we wanted a bnb close to the convention center and this home was indeed close and convenient (hey, 2 more C's). We chose the Shamrock primarily because of it's location close to the convention center and also because we wanted 3 bedrooms. The house was very clean and comfortable and we were very happy with the location! It was easy to/from the convention center and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We will be asking to reserve the Shamrock again in 2 years when we are again at Virginia Beach for the next conference. Highly recommend!!

Comfortable and convenient

The stay was great. The property was nice and provided a comfortable place for my family of 6 to enjoy our vacation. The house is within 5 minutes of the beach and not much further from Top Golf and outlets when it’s raining. We only rated cleanliness a 4 because it didn’t look like it had been well cleaned and the garbage was full when we arrived. One other thing to note is that the home is in the flight path for Naval training and though the planes are majestic and the kids enjoyed watching them, it wore thin after a while with flyovers all day from 7 am until 10-11pm. The host was communicative and check-in/check-out were easy.

Perfect Location

This rental was perfect for our long weekend visiting Virginia Beach. The location couldn’t have been better. Far enough from the beach to enjoy a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough for those who chose to walk. Stores and restaurants were close by as well. The house was clean, and contained everything we needed. We appreciated the fenced in backyard as well as the cute front porch. The owner was able to accommodate some unusual special requests that we had, and kept in touch with us during our visit. Overall excellent experience for our whole family. We look forward to working with Chris for future Virginia Beach vacations.

Fun trip!

The only thing I can say against this vacation is the location being near the military base. I saw there is a upcoming airshow so might explain the non stop fighter jets overhead.. kind of can’t avoid it in Virginia Beach.. You kind of get used to it after awhile.. beds were comfy...loved that everyone had their own bedrooms and the extra half bath was nice too! And have to say a big thank you that the owner was so kind when my sons grandma was dying and had to leave suddenly to say goodbye to her, she said don’t worry about a thing, just go and family first.. gave us her prayers.. thank you Chris. There are good people in this world, and she is one of them!

Nice location for race weekend

We came to Virginia Beach over Labor Day weekend for the Rock n Roll Virginia Beach half marathon. We chose this house based on its positive reviews and close proximity to the start/finish line. I'll start with the positives: -Location: Super convenient to oceanfront. This was by far the best part of the rental -Communication: the landlord was in communication with us throughout the weekend. She was super kind and helpful! It was nice knowing she was available since we came during Tropical Storm Hermine. I knew if anything happened, I'd be able to get in contact with her rather quickly -3 bedrooms & 1.5 baths: It was really nice having the half bath in the master -Kitchen stocked with appliances/utencils -Quick deposit refund: But see below for more info on deposit. Room for improvement: -Deposit: I was pretty shocked when I first saw the $1500 deposit. To be honest, it almost prevented me from booking this property. For a 3-day stay that came to around $600 total, I felt it was unnecessary. Especially since it was withdrawn a full 2.5 weeks before our stay. For an older house that honestly seems to have its fair share of wear, we couldn't understand why it would need to be that much in the first place. As I stated above, the landlord did request our deposit be refunded shortly after our stay. However, as a teacher, the $1500 being withdrawn out of my account for 3 weeks was truly a financial burden. -Wear and tear: In particular, the shelving unit over the toilet in the full bathroom. It was very unsteady and actually almost fell on my friend. A quick bolt to the wall should fix it! There were also holes in the wall that seemed to be patched but not painted, decorative fixtures broken/hanging, and other things that seemed to take away from the overall charm. -Another suggestion-- not a huge deal-- would to provide a few more bath towels. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. However, I'm not sure we would book again because of the large required deposit, which seemed a little unnecessary.

Nice place to stay

We had three adults and two young teens and this house was a nice size for us. There was some confusion on check-in and getting the door code but it was resolved within a few minutes with a phone call when we arrived at the house the first night. Beware, the Naval Air Station is not far away and the fighter jets fly over the house. They are AMAZING!! They are loud but only for a short time and then it’s fine. We didn’t notice any on the weekend though. The drive to the oceanfront was maybe five minutes or less right down the street. Usually it took longer to park once you got there than it did actually getting there. We needed the convention center while we were there and that only took maybe 3 minutes to get there. If you like a good breakfast, seek out the Blvd Bistro. It is in the opposite direction of the beach but it is a nice little diner that has Great food and is priced more like a local joint than one geared towards tourists.

Clean, Affordable Beach Getaway

Our family had a wonderful experience staying at this location for our Virginia Beach vacation. The house was clean and came exactly as described. We had enough space for a family of 5, and the property manager and her team were the perfect blend of accessible without interfering. We had a couple questions that were answered right away. We recommend this property!

Roomy, clean, great value

My family of four adults was completely comfortable here for three nights. All is as described and everything super super clean .DW, laundry and A/C all worked great. Rooms are spacious and homey. Owner was accessible when needed throughout our stay. We drove down to OBX, climbed Cape Henry lighthouse and enjoyed the lovely VA beach. We had jets taking off on one out of our three day stay. Sound is not bad on the beach, and you can actually watch from there. Inside the house, we cranked up a music channel on the big screen TV to mask the sound. We would stay again.

Family fabulious

We are a family of 5 and this house was perfect!! Bring your bicycles and wagon. You can bike to the wonderful family friendly Virginia Beach!! Its a straight shot to about the middle of the beach strip. The house provided a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle and all the comforts of home! We even grilled some steaks in the back your. Christa was a PERFECT host! Stoped in our first night to ensure we were all settled and we ran into her again on our way out for the day a few days later. Chatted but didnt keep us from our family time/vacation!! We WILL be back😍

Wonderful stay in Virginia Beach !

This was the perfect rental for our stay. It was accurately described. The owner was accessible and accommodating. The property was clean and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place, and we plan on staying there next time we are in Virginia.

Relaxing, home away from home

House was great. Beds comfortable. Close to beach. Centrally located so as to be a perfect base for all the fun things to do in Virginia Beach. Chris, the owner, was very nice, easy-going and had helpful tips for our stay.

Wonderful time!

We really enjoyed the house. Only about 5 blocks from the beach. We rode the bikes to the store several times. I haven't rode a bike in years. The people in the neighborhood were very nice also. We will stay again!

This property became available right across the street and we hopped right on it! The location is perfect for a quiet vacation getaway. It is close enough to the beach to enjoy all of the beach activities but yet far enough away to enjoy some quiet time away from it all!
