**WE ARE HAPPY TO SHARE THAT THE GALLERY IS NOW AGAIN AVAILABLE TO VACATIONING GUESTS (it has been a long-term rental since May 2025)!

Welcome to 'The Gallery!' One visit and we know you will agree that The Gallery is a perfect getaway for a couple's or friends' retreat. 'A destination unto itself' as one of our guests best summarizes. Park your vehicle and take a short stroll to fabulous restaurants, shopping, art galleries, museums, dance clubs, pubs, cafes, day spas, historic tours, Screen Gem Film studio tours, live theater, and other local attractions -it's all within walking distance (some destinations even on the same block as The Gallery)! Or better yet, sit back, relax, and enjoy the Trolley or the Historic Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride Tour - it's just a half-block down Market Street.

The Gallery is located at 112 Market Street in the heart of Wilmington's beautiful and nostalgic riverfront Historic District half a block from the riverfront!

'The Gallery' is a fabulous, designer decorated, two-story 'Manhattan style loft' condo. Beautiful exposed brick walls can be found in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom; all refinished hardwood floors; new contemporary Scandinavian furniture/furnishings; an expansive collection of modern art displayed in every room; and wonderful color throughout! 'Lots of style and energy' as one of our guests describes.

The second floor bedroom is beautifully decorated and has a very comfortable, queen-size bed, full-size dresser w/mirror, Sony radio/alarm clock. The luxurious living room leather sofa has a queen-size pullout. Fine linens are provided for both the queen bed and queen-size sleeper. The Gallery is very well equipped with the vacation and business traveler in mind (FREE high speed WIFI with password). See our 'amenities' section below for a full description of all that The Gallery has to offer.

Spend the day at Wrightsville Beach (just 9 miles away) or Bald Head Island and return to 'The Gallery' to explore the southern charm of historic Wilmington in the evening. And remember, everything is within walking distance if it's a late night! We will be more than happy to make some restaurant, cafe, sight-seeing, etc. recommendations, just let us know - we definitely have some favorites that we would love to introduce you to!!!

So, come and enjoy what The Gallery and historic Wilmington have to offer, and 'live like a local!'

Great location! Couldn’t be better. Very unique and well-designed space. Be sure to bring your own hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner as none were provided. Highly recommend!

Thank you Amanda, we hope you can plan another visit soon! There is a hairdryer in the upper left hand drawer of the bedroom dresser as our rental agreement and welcome binder state. We do not state that we provide shampoo and conditioner. Everything that is provided is stated on the rental agreement and welcome binder. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

We took our son on a trio for his birthday and booked The Gallery. The condo was even better in person then we expected. The kids loved it and everyone had an amazing time.

Great long term stay

I stayed at the Gallery for 5 weeks and it was perfect. Everything was clean and nice, the kitchen was just the right size. The location can’t be beat and the Peking garage is very convenient across the street. Liz was communicative and easy to contact. Would recommend!

Fun little place

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the gallery. It's super cute and is located close to everything. I never used my car! Highly recommend for a small group (3 or less) who wants to be in the middle of it all!

We spent our honeymoon there and we loved it. It was convenient to all the tours and resturants. Loved the layout in the loft.It was very comfortable, and when they say all you need to bring is your linen, that's what they mean. It was well equiped.

Great location, totally unique condo

The Gallery is located right in the historic district, convenient to restaurants and the river walk. We're VRBO veterans and this is by far, the most unique place we've ever stayed! The condo is located in a historic building dating back to the early 1900s. Despite the age of the building, the condo has every modern convenience. Check in was seamless and everything was provided for your comfort. We will definitely stay there again next time we're in Wilmington!

Gem of an Apartment in Downtown Wilmington

The apartment was exactly as described, and very clean and comfortable. The artwork was amazing and the colors were very upbeat. Kitchen was outfitted with everything needed if cooking. Lots of books and DVDs which were great for downtime after a day of sightseeing. Very walkable to restaurants and pubs, and a short drive to the beaches. Would definitely recommend!

The Gallery

Our stay was great! The bed was comfy and the apartment was very cute, a little bigger than I thought it would be. The location was amazing. The only thing is, if you are someone who likes it cool when you sleep, I would suggest bringing a fan since the cooling system can only go down to a certain temperature. The beach chairs were a huge plus and we appreciated that so much. Thank you! We would stay again.

Gallery is the perfect place for R'n R

The Gallery was the perfect place for our time away. It had all we needed and more with no need to go out. We did enjoy the sites to see all within a walk away. We were able enjoy one full day out and about but mostly loved our time in this wonderful rental. All was provided so we packed light knowing this. Thanks to Liz and hubby ! Know that if we decide on a coastal trip, this will be our regular retreat location at your lovely 'Gallery'.

This was the second time that I have stayed at The Gallery. It is such a nice place and VERY clean. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Wilmington. It is full of amentities, including high speed internet, so for those of you who have to work (like I did) this makes life alot easier. The Gallery is the most wicked awesome place I've ever stayed. I just left and spent my 21st birthday weekend with some girl friends. It is the perfect location and decorated equisitely. I just love The Gallery, it is my new home away from home. You guys supplied everything and my girls and I never wanted for anything. You did an excellent job on the decor. I will definately be back at least 3 more times before the year is up. Keep up the great work.

Very well-appointed, stairs to bath

Everything we needed for a weekend stay! Kitchen is fully stocked - even with basic spices. Many bath items (in case you left something). Do be aware that you have to walk up a flight of stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. We went at a fairly quiet time of year, and the condo windows face an alley, but if the city noise bothers you, bring a noise machine or fan. Great location in the historic district, we didn’t use the car at all.

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourselves! Yes, the bathroom and bedroom are located on the second floor of the condo. The condo is located in the back of the building where you don't hear the busy street noise in the front of the building. The first floor window is glass block to further insulate, allow natural light and provide privacy. On the second floor we installed sound-proof windows so it is pretty quiet as most of our guests have commented. Thank you! :-)

Dear Liz, We enjoyed our stay in "The Galery". Very comfortable, very clean, decorated with taste / You guys have it all!/. Short /very, very short/ walk to the river and all the attractions. Food - everyone should try the "Carolina bucket" in Elijah's /2 Ann street is the address/. You look for perfect service and friendly people - you'll find them in Wilmington. Thank you for everything! We were extremely pleased and very happy! We'll be back!!!!!!!!!

We fell in love with historic, riverfront Wilmington and were spending so many weekends there that we decided to find a place of our own. The beauty and nostalgia of the area combined with the friendliness of the locals is what drew us and continues to draw us to Wilmington. Location was paramount in our search for our vacation spot in Wilmington. We wanted to be able to walk to everything and we finally found a condo that met that important criteria. It took some time to renovate, but was well worth it to be in the heart of historic Wilmington.
