. This Two bedroom condo is right on the beach. Your living room window is the beach. Gas Fire pit on deck. Plenty of chairs. Close to the trolley, Stores, Restaurants. Trolley to Ogunquit. No need to go anywhere your yard is the beach. This condo fits 4 adults or 2 adults 3 child. This is a cute efficiency unit. Out the door on to the sand. Off season rentals pets allowed off season. Off season discount rates.

This was a very nice little beach condo having the charm of old Maine I remember when spending summers here in the 90s, unlike so many of the new mega/modern beach houses along this stretch. It was a nice place right on the water for a reasonable price. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Great stay!

Wonderful little place in a perfect spot. Nothing fancy, but everythng you need, a little claustrophobic at first but got use to it quickly.

Perfect get away!

Location is perfect, right on the beach! Very small and could use a few updates. I would strongly suggest a shade in the front bedroom, since there are stairs going to above rental, with a clear view of the bed. Overall it was a wonderful get away and would rent again

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay, the location was perfect. Sleeping at night hearing the waves crash was just amazing! Being able to have both our pups with us not just our service dog was awesome! They loved the early morning runs on the beach without a soul around. Accommodations are tight, but you won’t spend any time inside with the beach and all the outdoor space you have right outside the front door.

Wonderful stay!

My sister and I stayed here for a long weekend. She has health issues and seeing the ocean again was a "bucket list" item for her. Obviously, I looked for just the right place to make that happen for her. This was THE perfect place! Literally right on the beach with a stunning view, the unit was clean and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need for your vacation (except sheets and towels, which is totally understandable). The DVD player and strong WiFi were a big plus. Kathy and Matt are very pleasant and accommodating and we wanted for nothing during our stay. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return soon!

Location and views are amazing! It is quite small and musty, but we got used to it quickly. The bathroom is super tiny. The bedrooms are dark and have an odor. After opening windows, that seemed better. I was upset about the dirty bathroom when we arrived and had to clean it immediately. It needs to be cleaned after each rental, especially the bathroom. The previous renter left their urine and hair for me to deal with. Also, the shower drains slowly so you are standing ankle deep. Other than that, great location. Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood and definitely safe. Open the windows and enjoy the breeze and sound. Lots of outdoor space with chairs. The beach was 4 steps away. Very peaceful place!

Anniversary getaway

Amazing location right on the beach. Worth every penny. However, The house needs some fixing up, slider door hard to open we left it open all the time, we did not use fans in bedroom as they were layered with dust so bring your own fans, we also could not use bathroom sink it was leaking on floor but it was fixed the day we left. Overall we were honestly so thrilled with the view and being right on the beach it did not matter. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. Owner left us beautiful flowers for our anniversary. I would go back for location alone.

Great location but needs some TLC

You can’t beat the location! Wake up in the morning and the beach is right there and what better place to watch a harvest moon. The property itself is worn and definitely could’ve used a thorough cleaning… Mold on the bathroom ceiling and around the shower. The bed was comfortable and bringing your own linens was not a problem. In many regards to this property looks like it is pieced together. Some pots and pans were put away dirty in the stove I needed a good scrubbing. There were no curtains or blinds on the bedroom windows so an extra towel was needed to cover them. This property has tremendous potential with some sprucing up and a thorough cleaning

Beach front tiny

We really enjoyed our vacation overall! You can’t beat walking out the door and being on the beach! The space is very tiny and would not be suitable for larger people, I’m 5’11” and barely missed hitting my head on an overhead beam, the space between the bathroom sink and the wall that you need to get through to access the shower is tight, a person of a larger size would not fit through. I hit my head on a wall mounted lamp in the bedroom several times because there is only about a foot between the bed and the wall and the lamp stuck out into the room. Also I did not feel like the listing emphasizes that you need to bring everything, sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, dish towels, a dish sponge, etc… I asked a couple days ahead if we needed to bring anything and was told at that point, when I went back through the amenities section of the listing it did say this but I think something like that should be at the top of the listing in bold lettering! If I hadn’t asked we would have had to buy all new linens when we arrived!

This is listed as a efficiency. Due to Covid we did not supply pillows, blankets it is in the listing.. We do leave dish towels,paper towels,trash bags, couple rolls of toilet paper. We are always available for any questions. We want to make all our guests comfortable.

Sweet sounds of the ocean

It’s a cute little cottage, very cozy. It’s has a very nice deck over looking the ocean with a few steps to the beach. It was great going to sleep with the sounds of the waves and waking up to sunrise on the beach shining into the windows of the cottage.

perfect location, so could look past the minor “issues.”

Very easy rental process! My only suggestion would be to add additional lighting. To be directly on the beach at that price point is unbelievable! :)

Camp on the beach

This is the most perfect location.. the beautiful beach right at your doorstep. The owners were very friendly and responsive to questions. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. However, the place needs a serious cleaning … from a moldy shower and bathroom ceiling to a dirty stove and some grimy pans. There were no shades on the bedroom windows…we packed pillows in them to prevent the street light from shining in…as well as to provide privacy. If you are more than 6 ft tall, you will bump your head on a main beam in the kitchen.

cleanliness

Matt was very accommodating for our needs. But! It was obvious that the apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned, only a once-over I think, due to little things we found on the floor and dust and sand all around the edges. The vacuum and broom, with swept up dirt that had not been picked up, were in a corner. Stained furniture and broken knobs on closet doors and bureaus, old lamps, should be replaced/fixed. Thank you for replacing the showerhead and faucets while we were there. We actually checked out on Friday Oct. 2 instead of Saturday Oct. 3 due to being tired of what was overall an unclean rental. Also, when cleaning weekly, you should go through the cabinets and reorganize the dishes, pans, etc. It was not easy to find most things we needed. Best thing about the rental is the location and the view.

We take pride in our cleaning and go there our places and sanitize. My husband is in the cleaning business. We love our renters and hope to have them back. It is a great place on the beach and have renters come back year after year.Sorry to hear you were disappointed.

Beautiful Oceanfront condo!

We loved our stay at Wells Beach! Being right on the ocean is amazing, you can't match the view or the convenience of not hauling your stuff to and fro each day! The condo itself is small and a little dated, but clean and worked just fine for our family of four. The other renters (& resident) were all very friendly! We were sad to leave! Thank you!

This condo is very small, as stated in description and other reviews. Other than that, it was a really great vacation! The view (even from the couch) was amazing! The beach was wonderful. We will be back! Thank you!
