Dunnellon Getaway

Our Unit was as portrayed in Vrbo. The unit has what is needed to be comfortable. The amenities were nice. Location was quiet and close to town. The dock area needs much repair and the ability to fish from dock not feasible due to growth. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Our Host was easy to contact and helped in anyway possible.

Relaxing River Stay

Enjoyed our 5 weeks in Dunnellon immensely. Condo was a perfect location to many great adventures in the area. Condo was clean and would stay again.

Third Floor Condo

Condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Loft bed is comfortable King size with 1/2 bath and laundry. Bedroom down is Queen and might need a topper. Very quiet and private. Parking was best on the far left side lot to access the stairs up to the unit the most efficiently. Weather was not warm enough, so didn't use the pool or hot tub. Would stay again. Easy check in and fast communication with Joe.

The Landings

This duplex apartment was a perfect location for us and our needs. The apartment was clean with plenty of extras. The neighbors were extremely friendly. The view was great and we loved the pool and hot tub. The only negative thing that we saw was the building itself on the outside needed cleaned and maybe repainted and the pool area needs some tlc especially around the grill area. This is not Joe the owners problem, this was the entire building and there are lots of owners and I’m sure they have someone that is suppose to keep up the maintenance of the building and grill/pool area. However, ever with those minor issues we would and probably will stay again in the near future. Our host Joe was excellent and very accommodating when we had questions. Great week, we are sad it’s over.

Lovely screened porch overlooking the river

The 3rd floor condo was as advertised. Previous reviews said the dishwasher did not work -- looks like we had a brand new dishwasher and over/stove! There are no photos of the best part - the porch overlooking the river, which had a small round table and a rattan love seat on it. The reason I gave cleanliness 4 stars rather than 5 is that the screen porch was dirty- lots of dust, Once I washed it off it was great and we spent as much time out there as we could. We brought 2 kayaks and we were able to leave them near the little kayak launch dock. It was only about a 10 min paddle to the beginning of the rainbow river.

Great place to stay on the water

Love getting up and walking out to fish off the dock every morning. Pool was clean. Local gator was friendly. Easy drive to Crystal River, close to Rainbow Springs State Park, and walking distance to a few small antique stores, of you're into that also. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if they would have provided a couple kayaks for guests... I understand the possible liability, though. I was wishing we had hauled ours down from Indiana. All, in all, I would recommend this place for a quiet getaway with your partner, or with your family.

Great condo on the river

Had a great 8 night stay. Very nice condo on the 3rd floor with a nice screened in porch facing the river. My only complaint is that the dishwasher doesn’t work, evidently hasn’t worked for awhile according to another review I saw. If not going to be replaced it should be taken off the listing info. There also were no kitchen towels. I’m glad we didn’t cook a lot.

Haven for me...

This was a great place for me to stay close to my work until I could settle on a property to buy..My children stayed with me on weekends and loved the pool. The manager of condo was very responsive to messages and I appreciated bring able to stay in such a peaceful place.

inaccurate listing does not sleep 6

This property is 1br and a loft with two beds (1 king and 1 full). It does not sleep 6. Contacted representative about how to sleeping 6, he said he thought there was a blow up bed??????Pictures shown do not represent the current status of the property. There is no 3 person couch instead a love seat. Dish washer was not working with a note pasted on it directing to not use it. Did not care for washing dishes while on vacation.

Rejuvenated

We absolutely had a grand time! The place is very nice. I enjoyed every day being there. I really enjoyed relaxing in the evening listening to the frog's, crickets, and whatever else was out there lol. We saw alligators. Awesome!! I will be back.

Great river location

We've stayed at The Landings several times through the years because of its location and ease for boat access to enjoy the rivers. The unit was exactly what we expected, the grounds and pool area are kept up nicely, and you can't beat the location to town.

Fishing on Withlacoochee and rainbow river

Fished 7 days with several bass in the 3-5 pound range and lots of others. A beautiful set of rivers and alligators and birds are amazing. Makes good memories every time we visit. Pool and jacuzzi are very inviting. Will be back

Lovely location. Quiet and peaceful.

We needed a place to stay for a month while we finalized buying a home in the area and waited for our belongings to arrive. This condo was perfect! We had everything we needed and the unit was clean and comfortable. The location on the river is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch every day and taking in the view. The pool was wonderful and it was a perfect place to come back to every evening after we had finished working on our new house and getting things ready to move in. The owner was very easy to work with and was very accommodating. The only thing lacking was wifi but otherwise it was perfect. Highly recommend.

Great for adults interested in fishing, boating, etc.

We had a great time! The condo was great and very well appointed, with a well stocked kitchen, including paper goods, toiletries and laundry supplies! And the owner was nice, and responsive! There're restaurants within walking distance: The Blue Gator for waterfront dining and great food & drink; Gruffs had fantastic dry-rub ribs. Plenty of other restaurants within short drive: The Front Porch for great home cooking and incredible pie selection; Swampy's Bar & Grill for great waterfront dining. Boat rentals ars available right next door to The Blue Gator. Great horseback riding at The Orange Blossom Trail Rides, into the Goethe State Forest. Great fishing right from the docks, and the sound of frogs and gators at night was just incredible. And the property is surrounded by live oak trees. Staying here was a truly natural experience! In fact I would have given it a 5 star rating except for two reasons: 1) Would not recommend Riverside Condos if travelling with kids. We had a 10 & 7 yr old travelling in our group, and the pool area has restrictions and the hot tub was off limits to anyone under 12. And there are alligators (even at the dock...which was pretty cool) so kids have to be careful on the docks, and the river is strictly for boating and fishing...no swimming. 2) There are no elevators, so if you're travelling with a lot of luggage and equipment, there are a lot of steps, especially when you're on the 3rd floor! It was a great experience and thank you for everything!
