Welcome! We invite you to stay under the "Temecula Sun" at this beautiful 3.6 acre, Wine Country Estate. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Vineyards as this home sits high on the hill allowing for afternoon breezes and unparalleled vistas.

Dine inside or out, as you watch Hot Air Balloons rise in the morning, and spectacular sunsets in the evening. Enjoy outdoor BBQ and swimming or relaxing on the Baja shelf in the gentle saltwater pool and Spa.

This meticulously kept estate is enjoyed by discerning couples or friends looking for a quiet, relaxing, and often romantic getaway. Very spacious, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen. Derek is a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond to questions! Loved seeing the hot air balloons launch every morning. Night sky was spectacular.

We have stayed at multiple rentals in Temecula and this was the best by far. The pool and yard are spectacular. Really enjoyed the hot air balloon watching early in the mornings. Fully stocked kitchen. Looking forward to our next stay.

Absolutely beautiful property conveniently located near the Temecula wineries. We really enjoyed our stay. Derek was very responsive. The house is as described in the listing. The pool was a great place to cool off on a hot summer day. We had a really great experience.

Perfect Girl Trip

We loved our stay! A huge house, private pool, hot air balloon show each morning, and all the amenities to make for a great trip. Vineyards and Old Temecula were a short drive away but we found it hard to leave the house.

Fantastic Temecula Estate

This home is so perfect for a family stay that that we returned for a second time in 2 years. Great amenities inside and outside. The VRBO description is 100% accurate. The owner is a great communicator and always responds quickly. The hot air balloons launch every morning at dawn and there's a beautiful view from the pool. We're looking forward to our next stay.

Wonderful house and location

We stayed in this beautiful house for a soccer tournament that was located at Galway Downs. The location for the tournament was perfect. More than that, house and views from house and property were amazing. We would fully recommend it for anyone traveling to Temecula.

We enjoyed our stay at Under the Temecula Sun. Details of rental property expectations were laid out very well.The pool area was amazing and the house has an incredible amount of space. We loved it!

Even better than the photos

We loved this property...the photos are good but in person it is even better. Very private, well kept, well-stocked and quality property. You'll live in the backyard. House is quite big, too. Would stay here again!

Overall, we had a great stay. The house was clean & matched the VRBO description. The only hiccup was that we didn’t have warm water at one point. The host was quick to respond and have someone come out to fix it. We would stay here again.

Weddings in wine country

We had to attend a wedding at one of the many fabulous Vineyards. We found this house on VRBO and knew it would work perfectly for us. Derek the property owner/manager was always available and answered all our questions. Very pleasant to deal with. The house was spotless and the landscaping was perfect. Great place to relax and enjoy the quiet.

Fabulous!

This house is exactly what you see in the pictures! It's beautiful, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with every imaginable dish, pot, glass and utensil you could ever need. The views are absolutely stunning. The town of Temecula is close by for shopping, dining, etc. If you are looking for a place in Southern California, do not overlook this one! It is truly a gem!

Great Getaway

We were able to stay at this beautiful home for 3 nights. It was absolutely the perfect get away after a strange not go anywhere COVID year. We got up early every day and watched them fire off the hot air balloons. Sipping coffee and watching the balloons made for perfect mornings. Derek was great! He responded immediately to any questions we had. We are looking forward to doing it again in the near future. PS: For those wondering…Derek super nice guy…not related to Leo. We asked….

Perfect for a family vacation

This was the perfect property for a family vacation. The master bedroom and bathroom is very large and at the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms. Our teenage/early 20 year old children/nieces occupied the other 2 bedrooms (which share a jack and jill bathroom). These rooms are closer to the kitchen and living room - we could not hear any noise from the rest of the house when in the Master room. The pool (salt water) was beautiful and there are four mobile umbrellas around the pool to provide shade. The house is on a hill and provides gorgeous views. We enjoyed the pool table, the BBQ, the covered and shaded outside table and the dining room. The house and property are beautiful. We would definitely book this property again in the future.

Amazing Temecula Home

Our family enjoyed this home immensely during our stay. The house is huge, immaculate, and has so many fun things for the family. The pool and spa are terrific with a waterfall, many umbrellas for shade, and a shallow toddler's level (also good for grandpas). The pool table kept all of us busy. Every morning we would be up dawn to see the hot air balloons ascend. On Friday and Saturday, we saw 10 to 12 each morning. The balloons could be seen from the kitchen window, the formal sitting area and the master bedroom windows. We found the small table and chairs by the pool the best for picture taking. The view is spectacular. We picked several fruits from their personal orchard. They were delicious. We can't say enough wonderful comments about this home and Derek was a great communicator all the way. We're definitely coming back!

Amazing Mountain Top Getaway

Since COVID I think we’ve all enjoyed places where we can quietly get away with our family. This place was the best VRBO we’ve ever done. It was HUGE for just a family of 4. Everything was there or within 20 minutes in terms of groceries/food. The view was amazing. I had a great time birding from the backyard with California Quail, Phainopeplas, Juniper Titmice, Red-tailed Hawks, and Anna’s Hummingbirds (hummingbird feeders could use a good cleaning tho). The pool was glorious. My 5 year old son and 16 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and spa equally. TV had plenty of options, house was secure and private. Water pressure and other utilities were great. One day we had my dad and sister come over and we enjoyed a nice meal in the dining room. We had food delivered easily via DoorDash and we had them leave it at the gate. If you’re thinking about this place just do it. You won’t regret it.
