You will not find a better location in downtown Watkins Glen for your large group! The completely furnished guest house is a duplex that offers a variety of accommodations and sleeps up to 17 people. Smaller groups can reserve one of two private apartments, and large groups can congregate together with space for many folks across both apartments. The smaller groups will be placed within the smaller apartment, and larger groups will be placed within the larger apartment. Groups of smaller sizes can reserve the whole house with premium pricing. A note to travelers with mobility concerns: several steps lead up to the house from the street. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Great location to all activities. Quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to Watkins Glen State Park. First time to area and would definitely come back. Snacks for the guests at this rental is a nice surprise.

Great space in great location. Our goal was to do photography at Watkins Glen. Could walk to the park from this location. Saved the 8 parking few each day. The condo was stocked with breakfast food. It was nice that we did not have to run to the grocery store

We enjoyed our stay. The house is within easy walking distance from the main strip and also the state park entrance. The host put great breakfast items, coffee,etc. in the home. That was appreciated! A lot of thoughtful items were in the home...an umbrella and band aids, for instance. It was evident that a lot of thought went into furnishing the space.

Four Days in Watkins Glen

The apartment was very clean and spacious with two bedrooms upstairs. The location was convenient to beautiful Watkins Glen Stare Park and an easy walk to restaurants. Communication with the owner was easy, and we liked that breakfast items were left for us.

Fabulous location and comfortable home away from home.

Very nice unit in a fabulous location. Less than 3 blocks to the entry of the Glen/Gorge in one direction, and about 7 blocks to the harbor and the iconic pier house. Travis is great to work with, and provided all amenities for a very comfortable stay.

Wonderful location

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend! The house had everything we needed and enough room for everyone! The two units was great for two families with pets and children. Walking distance to the lake, state park and downtown. A wonderful weekend had by all.

Great place!

We had a great time on our stay. The house perfectly accommodated 2 families with kids and small dogs. The house was clean, the breakfast foods were much appreciated, and the separate laundry facilities for each apartment were awesome! The house is perfectly located in town and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and even the Watkins Glen State Park! Highly recommend!

Great Finger Lakes Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this guest house, plenty of space, and nice food for breakfast. Accommodations met or exceeded all our expectations. The house is walking distance to the state park waterfalls, and perfect for walking the town or Watgins Glen, down to the lake Seneca. The beds were comfortable, and the AC was good. We look forward to another visit to the region.

On a steep hill, but great downtown location.

Very convenient location in downtown Watkins Glen. The steps leading to the house were longer and steeper than I was expecting. The house was very clean and the refrigerator was stocked with breakfast items, which was a nice touch. The appliances including the A/C seemed to work well, except for the washer/dryer. We spent most of the time at the racetrack, but enjoyed the comfort of the apartment at the end of the day.

The house was perfect for us!! Clean & comfortable. Perfect location which was our main reason for staying here. It's a 3 minute's walk to the State Park gorge and close to Main Street shops and eateries 5-10 minute walk . Travis the host was very diligent in responding to all our questions. Family vacation

Our house was only a 3 minute walk to the entrance to Watkins Glenn. The house was clean, linens and breakfast foods were supplied, and delicious. Our wine tour was only 15 minutes away. Madison House is in an excellent location for a Watkins Glenn, Seneca Lake vacation.

We booked this property for our annual golf outing and it was perfect for our purposes. Travis was great with communication including booking, checking in and answering questions while we were planning. It was a great location, easy walking distance to many bars and restaurants. We had a great trip.

A wonderful place to enjoy family and friends.

Nicely located and and comfortable property. Anyone looking to spend a few days or a couple of weeks even would be very comfortable here. While there we toured a couple of the wineries and breweries along the lake and found the whole experience wonderful. The owner assisted nicely with suggestions and answers to our questions . Eat in our eat out, nicely set up kitchen and barbecue area as well. If you're heading to the Glen enjoy your stay at the Madison Guest house.

Nice location

Easy access to park and commercial district. Somewhat basic accommodations but clean, tidy, and quiet. Plenty of dishes and towels. Note for anyone with dogs (we didn't bring ours): the stairway to the upper floor is hardwood without any grip, so dogs might have difficulty climbing up.

Great weekend in Watkins Glen

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Our group was seven adults, and the layout of the house was perfect for our group. Originally, our group was supposed to be bigger, but the house would have easily accomodated everyone. It's rare to find someplace with 2 king size beds! The house was clean and everything was as expected. Located in downtown Watkins Glen, it is in walking distance of everything downtown which was one of the main reasons we chose it. It's location gives you easy access to the wineries on Keuka, Seneca, and Cayuga Lakes. We go to the Finger Lakes a couple of times a year and now that our group has grown, we will definitely visit here again!

Excellent Experience

Super close to the local park that has waterfalls and hiking up stone stairs. We went to the restaurant at the marina for drinks and a HUGE pretzel with dipping sauces. The Chinese restaurant was just across the street, as was Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Shop. A Walmart was a short drive, as well. Inside the home the owner had some bananas, blueberries, bagels, butter and cream cheese waiting for us. There were plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure was good for showers and baths, and the street was fairly quiet with close parking.

Happy

When I first saw and book this house I was under the impression that it was one rental and I would have the entire house to myself. But it is set up like a duplex sharing a front porch. And thatā€™s the only negative thing I can say. The house was clean, well furnished, wonderfully located and it had an inviting feel. 10/10. The host provided a breakfast and snack bar with coffee, tea, bagels, yogurts and bananas. It was delightful. Very happy I will be back.
