With only 48 units, Spanish Trace is one of the most sought after vacation experiences. Our unit at Spanish Trace sleeps a maximum of six and has been completely remodeled with all new furnishings.

Built on the shores of St. Augustine Beach you are mere feet from the wide sandy beach of St. Augustine which is one of Florida’s best beaches.

When you walk into our condo you will feel at home. The soft and pleasant décor will make you realize that you’re at the beach and your vacation can begin. Step out on the balcony and you have a wonderful ocean view and overlook the large pool. There are two high top chairs and a table with two chairs on the balcony to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Inside you will find plenty of seating in the living room in include an amazing comfortable couch, two comfortable chairs and new flat screen Smart TV to enjoy a family movie or to watch that favorite sporting event. The dining room connects to the living room and has seating for four (4). So bring all the electronics because you have the use of your own private Wifi.

When it’s time to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll be happy with the kitchen. We have what you need to prepare your meals. The kitchen has a coffee maker, dishwasher, and microwave, just to name a few.

The bedrooms are designed for maximum privacy located on the second floor of the condo. The master suite is spacious and contains a new king size motion/temper pedic bed with your own flat screen Smart TV. It also has a sink for your convenience. The second bedroom offers an additional king size bed and twin Custom Bunk Bed made by Barn15 for the kids. There is a full bath with tub/shower located upstairs and a full bath with walk-in shower downstairs.

Linens, pillows, and bath towels are provided for you.

The complex has tennis courts, a large pool, shuffle board, and covered picnic tables with three charcoal grills. Convenient to all the attractions of historic downtown St. Augustine, it offers the relaxation and privacy of a beach vacation combined with the fun of a sightseeing trip in the heart of north Florida.

Note: There is no washer and dryer in the unit. There is a laundry room that requires change for the washer and dryer at a connecting building.

Wonderful Location

Our stay was fabulous! Beautiful complex. The unit was well stocked with kitchen essentials, beach items, and games. Easy walk over the dunes to a beautiful beach.

Excellent Location and Condo

This is a great condo, well equipped to suit any needs, and location is amazing. I saw some past reviews with issues, and I can say that these are all fixed. Condo is renovated, the beds are amazing, and our family was very happy. We will return.

Lovely space

Had a great stay with my husband, 7 month old, and in-laws. Kitchen is spacious and updated, balcony area was nice and bigger than expected. There is a full bath on the first floor and a full bath on the second. Primary bedroom is spacious and has its own bathroom sink which was a perk. Pool was not heated but an enjoyable space. Beach is beautiful, wide, and you can drive on it.

Well kept but dated property

Nice location on the beach with pool that was very well kept. Condos recently painted on exterior and looked good. They advertised 2 bath but shower in downstairs did not work making I 1-1/2 bath. Place had musty smell on arrival probably because it had not been used. Kitchen living area was good and wi-fi worked fine. For the price it was a good value .

Lovely stay

The building is a bit older but the condo is nice. One issue we had was the smart thermostat - it isn't intuitive and there weren't any instructions. We found them online and managed, but provided instructions would help a lot. Condo is close to a lot of restaurants, a grocery store, and a short drive from historic St. Augustine. Comfortable beds, kitchen seemed to be well-stocked (we didn't cook much), and the chairs on the balcony were nice for enjoying a beverage in the afternoon.

Not the best experience

We were very shocked and disappointed about the fact that out condo did not have it’s own washer and dryer. We had to use an on site coin laundry that was very old and outdated. This was not made clear to us prior to arrival and we were u see the impression that the unit would have that available. We have never had that happen in all our vacation stays to anywhere actually. We also had to have both toilets repaired while we were there. Would not book there again

Thank you for your review. However, our listing is very accurate and we do not advertise a washer or dryer in the unit. We have managed this condo for 8 years and you are the first guest that advised they didn't know. Second, you broke the toilets. You or one of your guests hit the toilets and broke the seal and we had to replace them.

Beach view priceless

Location of condo excellent. The property is older and could use some updating. The owners were unresponsive to all my inquiries. We had issues controlling a/c using the preset thermostat owners never responded. For the high price we paid the unit should come with toilet tissue, which it came with just the end of rolls. Also no kitchen towels to do dishes with. Linens very sub par to missing. Also was charged an additional parking fee which was not mentioned in listing. The beach access and view is priceless. Pool was too cold not heated but is a great place to sit by and enjoy.

Old friends birthday getaway

The listing was a little deceiving. There was no mention of having stairs. There was nothing in the pictures, so when we arrived, we were quite surprised that there was a pretty good set of stairs to climb, and one of our friends has trouble climbing stairs. We also only had one bathroom. The other bathroom knob was broken on the shower, and in the picture it showed there was a table on the balcony, and there was no table for you to sit out and have dinner or coffee, so that was a little deceiving, the condo itself was very nice. The couch could definitely use an updating but it was clean. The upstairs is very hot, so bring a fan if you’re going to rent at this location.

This property needs work

There was no hot water in the bathroom downstairs which we had to use due to Tye inability to turn the water on upstairs. Cold showers are not fun!! The shower/tub upstairs was difficult to turn in. The toilet ran all night. Had to wait the next day for maintenance to come. He said VRBO and the owner were aware of the issue with the difficulty getting water on but continue to rent the property. He turned it on so we used it that night and water starting pouring through the ceiling in three places in the kitchen. We were told they were sending someone right away because the ceiling was starting to fall. After an hour I called back to learn they would not come this day. We had wait yet another day for them to come. Listing two days of our time to wait for repairman was not fun or planned.When he arrived he cut a hole leaving insulation and pipes exposed. There is black mold behind the bed in the room with with the twin beds and either the black mold or breathing insulation, I am now having sinus issues.

Unfortunately we cannot know when a water line is going to break.. It is beyond our control. However, we did immediately send a plumber over to address the leak from the upstairs bath. Also one of the owners of our company came over immediately after you called, but you were not there when he arrived and he fixed the toilet as reported.

Comfortable

This condo is perfect for a small family. King bed is comfy. Bathrooms are small, can't leave toiletries out. Great shower heads. Kitchen well stocked. We used the microwave for lots of meals. View was wonderful. Beach is Awesome!!! Swimming pool is salt water. I'd stay here again.

Great location

This unit is in a great location to St Augustine and super convenient for the beach. The property itself could use some work. The living space could have used some deeper cleaning as the kitchen area had what appeared to be sheetrock dust on the sink and counters. The area rug also had sand/dirt that needed vacuuming. Also there was absolutely no water pressure in the upstairs shower. Overall, a great place but could use some TLC.

Wonderful spot!

What a great spot- the location is perfect. Pool and beach are absolutely wonderful. The house had nice amenities; beach toys, games, etc. you have to pick up and drop off the key at a separate location, but it is not far. We had a great stay!

Fun week

We enjoyed our stay at Spanish Trace and unit 240 was nice. The unit was clean and it had been updated. A few things that we noted that needed improvement… the faucets for the showers are difficult to operate and need to be replaced, the shower curtain rod needs to be replaced in the upstairs bathroom (not taped as a repair), the queen size mattress is extremely firm, and finally the upstairs area does not cool well which makes for hotter sleeping than desired. Would I stay in this unit again, yes. It is a nice unit but there are a few things that need to be addressed for it to receive 5 stars.
