We work incredibly hard to maintain our high standards, as reflected in our numerous 5-star reviews. To date, more than 120 families have graciously shared 5-star ratings for our property. We do not take those ratings for granted, and that is why we stay in touch with our guests to see how we can help. We reached out consistently during your stay to ensure you had everything you needed. We were not made aware of issues when we checked in with you. This would have allowed us to assist you in real time. We do provide photos of every room and outdoor spaces, including an aerial view, plus a detailed property description. We welcome guests to send us any questions they may have prior to booking, prior to their stay (after booking) and during their stays.

Owners were very responsive and communicative to concerns/issues. Overall, our stay was wonderful. I would suggest the kitchen tables and outdoor furniture be replaced or fixed (due wobbling, moving, table top surface old and sticky) and the pool deck be looked at. Also, for those interested in the lake access, just know the trail down to water is a hike and not for easy for small kids or older adults, same with the pool access. Would definitely come back though - I was very impressed with the owners and their willingness to immediately address some concerns we had upon checking in.

Thank you for noting our quick responsiveness; we work very hard to stay in touch with our guests at Twin Island House and address any issues that may arise. We have noted your feedback as we are continually working to improve. Our property is located on hilly lakeside terrain, encompassing several acres, and it is that very terrain that enables our breathtaking views, peace and calm, and privacy that very few properties are able to offer. We do provide the option of a Kawasaki side-by-side rental for those who would like to use it to traverse the property. We are glad your overall stay was wonderful.

This house is AMAZING! The views, the set up and literally EVERY aspect. It was so fully stocked with just about anything you might need. The kitchen had every item you might need and I appreciate that they left spies and such in the cabinet for cooking. The set up on the rooms of the house were crazy good. Each of us had a separate room AND a wonderful gathering space. Not to monetion the fun play room downstairs. The location of the house is perfect- not too far from either Springfield or Branson but stillf ar enough out to feel "in the woods" I would HIGHLY recommend this home to families.

We loved the house and the location was great also...not too close, not too far. The view out the back is exactly what you'd want it to be.

A comfortable and well thought out home! Lots of sleeping options for multiple families and plenty of room to spread out or gather together. Great location close to different activities in the area. Highly recommend this home!

Great stay

This was such a nice house and the owners made the process so easy. It is very well located. The pool was great and the view was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

We are so happy you enjoyed the location! We love being right on the lake, so close to the brand new Tiger Woods golf course, and Big Cedar Lodge, and just a hop and skip to Branson. We can't wait to host you again!

Beautiful retreat!

Owners were spectacular with communication and support. Property afforded our family (ranging from 4-70 years of age) with all of the things we would want to do during a vacation!

Beautiful location

Owners Emily and Ryan were very helpful in taking care of any issues promptly. The location and views were glorious. I imagine its stunning in the fall. Plenty of room for our 16 member family.

Great Stay during Vacay

We had a wonderful time staying here. The views and amenities were great. There's sign that this place is steadily changing throughout the seasons, so it'll be great to see what it has to offer next year. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to make many memorable moments!

Family vacation

We had an amazing time. The house was amazing. So much room for all to spread out. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The adults liked the quiet and not having people close.

Great large group weekend retreat!

We rented this home with three other families after we all picked up our kiddos from Kanakuk. It was a very short drive from camp (about 20 minutes) and I would highly recommend it for anyone heading that way. The views are even better than the pictures and there was plenty of space for our large group.

5 couples for Two nights

The house is beautiful. Attractive furnishings, comfortable beds, very clean, well stocked kitchen and a beautiful view. Owners are easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. We would definitely rent this house again.
