Description: Looking for endless entertainment options? Look no further than Hawks Peak South 221! This fully equipped entry-level condominium is the ultimate destination for family fun. Whether you prefer to cozy up by the gas log fireplace or soak in the stunning view of Grandfather Mountain from the private deck, relaxation is guaranteed. Plus, with everything conveniently located on one floor, guests can enjoy easy access without the hassle of stairs. For added convenience and safety, grab bars have been installed in both bathrooms, ensuring peace of mind for all guests. Additional amenities include a washer, dryer, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, and a full kitchen equipped for all your culinary needs. Retreat to comfort with a king bed in the primary bedroom and a king bed in the guest bedroom, accommodating up to 4 people. 

Amenities: Guests in Seven Devils have access to a community playground and tennis courts. 

Location: This cabin is located in quaint Seven Devils, on the same mountain as Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplining, and centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The Seven Devils community offers public basketball and tennis courts along with a children's playground. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

I loved the condo, super mice and comfortable. I loved the neighborhood and location. I loved Sugar Mountain: it was perfect for my guys to come back to practice Snowboard. We enjoyed everything a lot.

Condo in Seven Devil

Condo was clean and decorated well. Good sheets, pillows, bedding. No cork screw, shampoo, hair dryer, or starter coffee and tea for welcome. Great views. Easy access to unit. Roads are steep and have sharp turns.

Great second stay

I stayed here before in 2021. Pros: great location, clean spacious condo, kitchen stocked with cooking supplies, comfortable beds and furniture. Great view!Cons: gas logs weren't working during our stay and weren't fixable until after we left, curtain needed for window in front bathroom because you can see into the shower from the parking lot, hot water takes a long time to heat up since the water is off when you arrive. Can hear upstairs neighbors walking around.All that being said I would stay there again as long as the gas logs and window curtain is fixed.

Great Mountain Location for Hearing Impaired Non-Smokers

This is a lovely condo with a mountain feel and view. It is well equipped throughout and shows signs of recent upgraded features (TVs and Microwave) since the VRBO pictures were taken. The master bed and furniture in general, including the deck chairs, are comfortable throughout. Cooking utensils are nice and allow for cooking in. My compliments to the owner for making this unit available to the right traveler, On the downside for us the property does not welcome smokers. This was not clear to us when we booked the unit over a year ago or we would have never booked there. On the first day of our visit the people in the unit above ours quickly informed my wife that this was a strictly non-smoking unit though out including decks and walkways. This left my wife with no alternative but to smoke in the parking lot which does not have any relaxation areas or weather protection. Interestingly the Guest Directory located in the condo is in conflict with what we were told by the other buildings occupant and realtor’s representative. It states under the Non-Smoking Policy “We ask all guests to refrain from smoking except in designated areas: on decks and outside.” Compliance with the expressed “Smokers Not Welcome” policy spoiled our stay. When I was confronted by the realtor’s representative I offered to leave for a refund or another property and I was advised there we no other units available. One other feature that had a significant detrimental effect is frequent and significant road noise. The only route in and out of the entire Seven Devils area runs directly behind, and in close proximity (maybe 200 feet). to this condo. Since the roads are steep and winding there is a loud noise coming from cars and trucks accelerating to make the mountain climb. The noise is extreme on the deck and is noticeable indoors even with the windows and doors closed. PLEASE change the VRBO website to clearly reflect that smokers are not welcome on this property. This will avoid other spoiled stays for travelers and keep the owners happy about their isolation from smokers.

Great Mountain Views

The condo has a great view of Grandfather Mountain from the balcony, perfect for happy hour. If you plan to cook the kitchen is well equipped. Settling in would be better if the cleaners or property manager turned on the hot water before guests arrived. The condo is located up a corkscrew road and most restaurants are 15-30 minutes away so bring your own coffee. The sheets and pillows should be replaced. Good price and easy check in at the property rental office.

Everything I wanted for our anniversary getaway.

Winter getaway

This place was exactly what we needed. It was super cute and clean and suited our needs perfectly. Brought our kids so see their first snow and we had a great time. This condo was great to come back to and warm up. We enjoyed the nearby hiking and snow tubing. Exactly what we wanted. We will be back.

Super view!

Lovely condo, super clean with an excellent view of grandfather mountain. Loved all the notes and instructions on how every thing in the condo worked. Made it easy to stay. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Nice beds would happily stay again.

Million dollar views

Loved the condo. Was clean and well furnished. Check in was so easy. Had lots of lights for reading or playing games. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the clouds on Grandfather Mountain. Was so easy to get to Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Boone from here. Would definitely stay here again.
