The feeling when entering the apartment is an almost "on-site experience" of the Temple of Zeus, with a very close unobstructed view of the Acropolis at the same time. The apartmentā€™s interior is contemporary with few subtle urban touches, balanced with earthy colors and textures. With a total surface of 125sqm, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Athens Grand Suite can accommodate up to 8 guests, ideal for couples, families or groups of friends, who seek a top notch hospitality experience in Athens. More specifically, it has one master bedroom with a king size double bed, one full double bedroom and one twin bedroom with two single beds.The living room sofa can easily transform into a double bed, accommodating two additional guests. It has a fully equipped kitchen (from Nespresso machine to dishwasher), as well as washing & drying machine, responding to both short or longer stays. For a truly unique stay in Athens.
Athens Grand Suite is at the heart of the historic center of Athens, the neighborhood is very vibrant filled with cafes, restaurants and gift shops. Right next to the building's entrance is the main pedestrian road (Dionysiou Areopagitou) passing Plaka (the old town of Athens) 50 meters, the Acropolis Museum 300 meters, the Herodium also 300 meters, the Acropolis 400 meters and following this root on foot you can literally visit all of the cityā€™s ancient historical sites, in no more than 10 minutes walk. Syntagma square is 700 meters walk. You can find world cuisine, Indian, Asian, Italian, Greek restaurants within a 2 block radius from the property. All city tour buses start few meters away from the entrance, making it very easy to go on a wider tour.Since the historic center of Athens is a car free area, one can rent a bicycle from rental shops nearby and enjoy the sites while enjoying a bicycle ride at the same time. There is a grocery store right around the corner at 150 meters and a super market at 200 meters away. The beach is 8 km away, accessed by tram, bus of taxi.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. There were seven of us, four adults and three teenagers, we were all very comfortable since the apartment is a nice size. The location is incredible, just steps away from major tourist attractions. I cannot recommend this apartment enough. The owner was easy to reach and quick to respond to questions we had. We all had an amazing time in Athens.

Great location!! It is located right in the center of all the must see sights. I was a little worried as it is on a very busy street but the building is built in the good old days with thick walls. I would definitely stay there again.

Location, location, location!

We could not be more satisfied with this vrbo! It is a large spacious apartment within walking distance to the Acropolis and Parthenon, shops, restaurants, and the Plaka area. The location cannot be beat. The views from the apartment are breathtaking - the Acropolis and Parthenon and Temple of Zeus. The apartment was very clean and as described. The host was very good with communication and answered my many questions promptly. He even arranged transportation for us from the airport and to our cruise ship. I would definitely book this again and would recommend it to anyone.

This amazing apartment was the perfect place for our stay. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go after taking the train from the airport to the property.The space is immaculate and decorated to perfection. Every space was welcoming, clean and spacious. I wondered after booking if it could really be as charming as it appeared online and was thrilled when it was even better than anticipated as the tall ceilings give it a very airy feeling. The safety of being in a building with a front door to the street that stays locked was the icing on the cake.

Perfect in every way!!

Our 5 member adult family fit perfectly in the unit. Greatest possible location to walk to all historic sites, parliament, changing of the guard, shopping, restaurants. Whatever little improvement comments we could make about this apartment would mean nothing when you take into account the perfect location to everything we wanted to see or do in Athens. Amazing Location in Athens

Our family of 5 with young adult children had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Athens. The location cannot be beat. We didnā€™t need the metro the entire time, although it is very close if you want to venture further out. We walked to all of the sites and enjoyed browsing and eating in Plaka, Psyrri, and Monastiraki. The apartment was equipped with water, juice, and a bottle of wine upon arrival. We were allowed to drop off our luggage, and our host arranged our transfer to Piraeus for our early morning departure. Beautiful views from the apartment, very good AC, and an elevator were icing on the cake.

Communication and description poor

This is not a 3 bedroom 3 bath as listed - it is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath (only 2 showers). We did not have the address of the property in advance and when I requested it he initially sent the wrong address! It was not until the day before our arrival that he informed us that you cannot flush anything down the toilets, even toilet paper! That would have definitely affected our decision to stay here. It is in a great location however for visiting the Parthenon!

Very Accommodating! Great location!

The communication with Konstantinos was excellent. He was responsive and extremely accommodating with our requests. This is a terrific location - close to everything. The apartment had enough space for my family of six adults. A couple of things to be aware of - this is on the fifth floor of the building and the elevator is extremely small (which is usual for most buildings), there stairwell around the 3rd and 4th floors is very dark which made me uneasy about using. The entrance of the building is next to a dumpster so there is a strong aroma upon entering and exiting the building, however, there was no trace of it in the apartment. The apartment has an interesting layout. There is no ensuite bedroom. You must walk through the kitchen to get to the master bathroom which is next to the small half bath. We enjoyed the access to balconies from each bedroom. The historical views we outstanding.

Great location

The apartment was wonderful, well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable and air conditioning in each room which was nice since it was over 100 degrees. The host was very responsive to all questions and set up transfers to and from the airport which was very helpful. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was the check in process. He emailed me the day of our stay. We were flying and did not have access to this and when we did land, I could not access my VRBO account and didnā€™t know what to do after driver dropped us off. Luckily the, cleaning person was able to let us in and host was kind enough to let us leave our luggage since it was too early to check in. It would have been nice to have someone check us in and explain things. The cleaning person was so sweet and did her best to explain things with her google translate app but it was difficult. Most information had been sent in the email, I just couldnā€™t access it. It would have been nice to have the information a day before or even better to have someone meet us for check in. Still, I would stay here again. The location was great and apartment was clean.

Loved the condo, comfortable, clean, great location. The balconyā€™s were nice with such good views. Elevator was small but worked great. Restaurants, markets , shops within walking distance. Well worth the price for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath.

Overall the property was great. Amazing location. The property manager was great to deal with. Only problem was construction next door. Started using jackhammers against a bedroom wall at 5am. Incredible location!

Amazing views from the balconies. Very spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to numerous activities. Could have had better detailed cleaning, underneath the kitchen sink was dirty as well there were 5 or 6 opened wine bottles which took up space. We could not hang our washed clothes to dry since bed sheets were left hanging from prier guests.

A Fun 3 Nights

My wife, three daughters (ages 15-21) and I stayed for three nights (during the heatwave and fires) in August. We had a nice time and the property was generally well-equipped. The apartment was large with plenty of room to spread out. The elevator in the building is small but it worked well, we never had to wait for it and it did the trick when we needed to get our luggage upstairs. We stayed home and cooked one night and found everything we needed except for some potholders. The appliances (including the AC) all worked well and the apartment was cleaned well before we arrived. The views amazing and as pictured, although the view of the Accropolis is starting to be obscured by the trees out front growing taller. But we usually had our afternoon happy hour on the other balcony that overlooked Zeus's temple in which we had such good views of it that we decided we didn't even need to buy a ticket to visit it in person. The location was convenient - close to all of the touristy stuff that we wanted to see and since Athens isn't very large, it was an easy walk or cab ride everywhere else we wanted to go. If you are staying longer and want to rent a car for a day or two for an excursion out of town, there are lots of car rental companies located about 2 blocks away. The only thing I would deduct a half of a star for (if I could) is that the furniture is starting to get a bit tired. The beds were all comfortable, but in general it would be nice if they started to refresh some things over the next couple of years. But overall I think it was worth the price, we loved Athens and would stay there again. 2 quick tips not directly related to the Apartment: 1) While the Greek food nearby was all very good, if you want a break from it for a night or are just looking for a fun spot to have a nitecap - we found a great Tiki bar about 3 blocks southwest of the apartment called Tiki Bar Athens. It's not quite the south Pacific but we had a lot of fun. 2) Cabs are supposed to charge based on distance, but there is no meter in them, so be prepared to either 1) negotiate before you get in or 2) use Uber. Uber just calls an actual taxi, but the Uber app tracks how far you go and you get billed based on that. We generally didn't have problems getting a taxi on Uber and it saved me a lot of money for the 5 cabs that we used with the app compared to the 1 we took without the app.

I created Athens Grand Suite inspired by my perception of what would be the ideal apartment to live in or to be hosted in, in the heart of Athens. A great location with great views would be a prerequisite. Being a frequent traveler myself, I believe it is paramount to have easy access to all site seeing areas, to have restaurants/bars and shopping at an arm's length, as well as easy access to public transport. In the same time, I think it is very important to actually enjoy and relate to the interior aesthetics and feel at ease with your accommodation choice. I am very happy when I hear from guests that their stay at Athens Grand Suite exceeded their expectations and that in a way, it contributed in making their holiday unique.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

A fine balance of the aesthetic of the interior, providing a relaxed and practical time for guests, with all the amenities to accomodate a short or longer stay.
The view from inside of the apartment but also from it's balconies is unique, as it provides the guest unobstructed view of the Acropolis, The Temple of Zeus, as well as the first Olympic games stadium, and Hadrian Arch.
Right at the heart of the historic center, where one can walk to all the sightseeing sites within minutes.
The Acropolis museum , the Herodes Odeon, The Temple of Zeus, and all other significant sight seeing areas, are within minutes walk.
Plaka area starts right underneath the building.
The area is vibrant and allows the traveler to enjoy a variety of shops and restaurants meters away from the property.
In a nutshell it is the area to be if one wants to see the historic center, but also walk to Syntagma Square, or Koukaki in 7-10 minutes.
