Shambhal Luxury Homestay, Bhimtal is a vacation rental facility that provides you with the comfort of a home. The cottage a stand alone modern cottage with breathtaking views of the Bhimtal Lake, valley and the forest. Surrounded by gardens from all sides it is your perfect getaway from the concrete jungle.
The cottage has three large luxurious bedrooms with solid teak floors and doors. Each bedroom has a wall of window overlooking the lake and Bhimtal valley, and is furnished with a king-size wooden bed and solid Rosewood furniture and have attached modern spacious bathrooms with hot and cold water. All the rooms are equipped with a 40 inchTV and electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies. A study table and sitting area along with large wardrobes are provided in the bedrooms.
The cottage has an open plan. The main living hall has a fire place, and extends into the dining room and a sitting area surrounded by floor to ceiling windows on three sides providing a clear and commanding view of the lake. The dining table is a large rosewood set with a seating capacity of eight. The kitchen is connected to the main living area with a bar counter for four overlooking the living plus the kitchen area. The living room has a bar as well to mix and serve drinks.
We have a fully equipped modern kitchen with a view of the lake on one side and the forest on the other. the kitchen contains a gas stove with multiple burners, refrigerator, microwave, built-in convection oven, RO purifier, hot plate, cutlery for 20 persons and multiple utensils. There is an open barbeque station in the back yard with a pizza/bread oven. Guests can use the kitchen areas if they have a culinary interest.
The house is surrounded with gardens with multiple fruit trees and backs into a natural protected forest. There are dedicated spots for outdoor fireplace in the yards.
We provide you with a fully furnished, functional and staffed vacation home. The price of your vacation home is fully inclusive of the dedicated space and staff at your disposal. We offer simple homemade food on order only (extra costs applicable). All meal orders need to be placed at least three hours prior to meal time.
We have placed board games and playing cards for guests in the main living area. There are hats, walking sticks and umbrellas placed in both the foyer areas on the first and the second floor for guests. The property is equipped with camera monitoring system for the safety and security of the guests.
We would like to remind the visitors that you are not living in a hotel and it goes without saying the house rules apply.

HOUSE RULES :
- please return all umbrellas, hats and walking sticks before leaving,
- please do not pluck any flowers and fruit on the property,
- no smoking in the house, you are free to smoke outdoors however please make sure you put out your cigarettes completely as we are surrounded by jungle and there is a great chance of a forest fire due to negligence,
- no loud music after 10:30 pm,
- please ask the staff to start the fireplace and camp fires if required, please do not try to attempt the same on your own. You are responsible for putting out the fires if you plan to stay up beyond staff sleeping hours,
- no baby siting services will be provided by us. the staff cannot be held responsible for the safety and security of your children,
