LOCATION
Telluride Lodge is on the west side of the Town of Telluride, and walks, runs, and bike rides on the River Trail can start at the door. Clark's Market is about an 8-minute walk, the free gondola about 11 minutes, and Main Street's restaurants, galleries, and shops about 13.
SKI ACCESS
Walk about 11 minutes to Gondola Station Telluride at Oak Street, or ride the free Galloping Goose from the Carhenge stop, about 5 minutes from the condo, to the Gondola stop. Lift tickets are sold at the station and are required to get off at San Sophia Station in winter; the Telluride Ski & Snowboard School is in Mountain Village. At the end of the day, take the gondola back to town and the Galloping Goose home, then the steam shower or the hot tubs. The 2026-27 ski season is scheduled for November 26, 2026 to April 4, 2027.
THROUGH THE SEASONS
Summer: the San Miguel River Trail runs from the Lodge east to Town Park, home of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June, and the Telluride Farmers' Market fills South Oak Street on Fridays from late May to early October. The free gondola rides up to hiking and cross-country biking trails at San Sophia Station, and the Lodge lawns have BBQ grills and picnic tables for dinner outside.
Fall: the aspens usually peak in late September and early October, and Telluride Blues & Brews fills Town Park in September. The gondola runs into late October.
Winter: besides skiing, Town Park has ice skating and the Telluride Nordic Center's groomed trails, reached on the Galloping Goose. The outdoor hot tub faces the snowy ski slopes.
Spring: skiing runs into early April, and the gondola usually reopens for summer in late May.
THE HOME
You come in through an entry hall with coat hooks, a bench, and a brick wall, and the gear closet for skis and boots is across from the entryway. The living room has hardwood floors, a patterned rug, a leather sofa, and two leather swivel recliners with ottomans facing a gas fireplace, with a TV and Apple TV above and windows on three sides.
The dining nook seats 6 on built-in cushioned benches around the table, with windows on two sides looking out to the trees. The kitchen has white cabinets with glass-front uppers, a brick backsplash, a five-burner GE gas range with double ovens, a built-in microwave, a French-door refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a toaster. Bedroom 1, the bunk room, is on this level too, with twin-over-twin bunk beds, reading lamps, a cushioned window bench, and a Smart TV.
Up the stairs, Bedroom 2 has its own level: a king bed with an iron headboard under a wood-plank ceiling, red walls, a desk, an armchair, a Smart TV, and a Sonos speaker. Its en suite bathroom has a tiled walk-in steam shower behind a glass door.
The next level up has Bedroom 3, with a queen bed under a sloped ceiling, built-in wood cabinets, windows on the trees, a Smart TV, and a Sonos speaker, and a half bathroom. At the top, a full bathroom with a glass-enclosed tiled shower sits beside the laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer.
