Green Village Comfort Cottage is set amidst the serene paddy fields of Boosa, an area that features beautiful natural views away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, while still being just a 5 km drive to the sunny beaches of Unawatuna and Hikkaduwa via the Southern Expressway.

This idyllic home stay consists of 1 AC and 4 Non AC bedrooms fitted with en suite bathrooms. It also includes a comfortable indoor lounge area that’s ideal for a boisterous game of charades or watching some television along with a fully functional kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove and microwave for light cooking. We encourage our guests to enjoy the stunning views of the paddy fields and birds that pass by from the comfort of one of the many armchairs set outon the rustic, Bawa style veranda – a dream come true for all you photographers!

From exotic birds, wildlife and peaceful river views to culture rich day trips and lazing on the beach, this affordable property has something for everyone. The cottage is in close proximity to the Ging River, Kuda Oya and its surrounding elephant infested jungles for those after a bit of adventure, but if you’re looking to do some sightseeing head over to the charming city of Galle alongst Sri Lanka’s picturesque south west coast for a quick day trip. With plenty of activities to keep you busy, you’ll have a hard time choosing but our favourites are to explore the colonial buildings, museums, shops and more surrounded by the 17th-century ramparts of the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort or head over to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn more and see many types of endangered turtles ( a sure winner with the kids).

The cottage also has a caretaker and cook available to ensure your stay is pleasurable and they will gladly help with anything from cooking an authentic rice and curry meal to setting up a fabulous BBQ featuring fresh seafood or helping arrange transportation to closeby areas of interest.
