Come and enjoy Amarillo Casita on the shores of Cypress Creek. The location is just a short 1.5 miles to downtown Wimberley, yet is a world of its own. Swimming, fishing or just floating in the cool waters of the spring fed creek takes away all stresses and worries, and the comfortable and fully equipped cottage offers all the creature comforts you desire. There are 2 bedrooms, a queen and king size bed, one bath and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the back deck or sit in the adirondack chairs by the creek. Dinner is best enjoyed on the deck overlooking the creek. Romance is in the air. Come and see the magic of Wimberley and Cypress Creek.

The wife and I wanted a relaxing place to stay and also bring our dog, this was the perfect place. Great location for what we were looking for (relaxing waterfront but not far from shops and foood). 2 thumbs up, the pictures on the listing were very accurate

This place was adorable and just what we needed. The creek was clear and beautiful. Peaceful to relax sitting on the banks and nice to swim in the crisp cool water. House was close to all the little shops and restaurants in Wimberley and close to the Monthly market days. Absolutely no complaints. Well, it may be time for new pillows in the king bed but that was it. Great stay!

The property was magical! Great shopping and restaurants are less than 5 minutes away. Loved going swimming at Cypress Springs swimming hole. It was dog friendly and they had great frozen margaritas and cold beer. Watching the fire flies at night was a gift! We will be back. Jane, Paul & Emma dog

It was a bit disappointing. The host asked us if we were celebrating something special-which we were but they didn’t seem to care -the deck wqs full of leaves and outdoor table not washed and it smelled musty upon entering. I also found it super annoying that all the lamps were unplugged and we had to stumble around plugging lights in. Here is a tip-make your guests feel like you care they are coming. I shouldn’t have to clean up the outside to use it especially since the cleaning fee is so expensive. And mowing the lawn so the entrance actually looks like we were expected would have been nice.

There is a great view of the Cypress creek and the shade from the trees is wonderful on the back porch. The water is always cool and we really enjoyed floating in it. Seeing the fireflies at night was a treat because we haven’t seen them in years. Very close to the restaurants and shopping in Wimberley.

Post Memorial Day Stay

Overall, perfect getaway for couple days. Provided opportunity to explore Wimberley and spend some time sitting by the river. Enjoyed seeing lightening bugs in the early evening, something we don’t see in the city any longer. Brought back memories of childhood summers. Only reason rated 4 overall is the road noise when outside and mattress too soft for our liking.

PERFECT GETAWAY

Took my mom on a surprise trip to Wimberley for Mother’s Day. The host was kind enough to print out Mother’s Day events happening in town which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. And what an absolutely perfect location!!!! Not only is it in town, it’s also nestled right on the creek. No crazy walking or stairs needed. It’s a few steps away from your back door. I could’ve stayed there forever. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful Place

This was such an enjoyable trip for us. We enjoyed the view, did some shopping, ate at wonderful restaurants, and had great family time...all in one place. We're so happy we came.

Perfect weekend getaway

My family of 4 had a great time! The location is perfect. You are right on the creek but still just 5 minutes from everything in Wimberley. We went in town for meals and walked around the shops..it was all so cute and festive for Christmas. My boys loved fishing and they even got in the cold creek water!! It was also a great place to bring our little mini Australian Shepherd. The pictures don’t do it justice…there is a huge lawn area in front of the house that is great for playing with kids and pets. The only thing that wasn’t “perfect” was that the couches weren’t the most comfortable for extended lounging. But everything else was great..super clean!

Cute cottage

Reviews spot on. Clean, nice view, very near 12, hence the noise. We got this for the king size bed and it was not comfortable so we ended up sleeping on the queen which was much better. Kitchen tiny but had all the basics and a few extra touches which we appreciated. Didnt need to communicate With mgr. as everything was spelled out.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights here with our 2 dogs. Everything we needed in a cozy comfy cottage. We definitely be back !

Just a brief little description of this Wimberley resident. I have lived in Wimberley full time for 2 years. Prior to that, I was a transient resident. Just coming and going on the weekends. I am originally from Waco, TX. and moved here from Waco. Both of my sons grew up and went to school there. The whole family is living here in Wimberley now along with my grandson and granddaughter. I feel very fortunate to be able to live in this beautiful place and have my family here as well. It really is a little piece of Heaven.

I have been in Wimberley for the past 10 years and have always wanted property on Cypress Creek because it is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Wimberley. The spring fed waters are clear and cool and are perfect for fishing, swimming, floating and just overall relaxing. You will not find a more perfect spot anywhere,

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Amarillo Cottage is a beautifully appointed cottage and very comfortable. My favorite part of the place is the outdoors. The giant Cypress trees in the backyard provide cooling shade in our Texas summers. Also, a dip in the cool waters is refreshing as well. Then, after a day of fun on the creek, head back to the cottage for a relaxing evening. Whether you cook out and dine on the deck, or head to town (just 1.5 miles) your day will be complete.
Be sure to relax with a cool beverage under the soft lights of the trees before retiring to the soft and comfortable beds.. That will prepare you for another day of fun on the creek, or shopping, or visiting local vineyards, or whatever the next day brings.
Come, enjoy, relax and plan to return.
