Convenient and Comfortable and Easy

Took a large group of graduates to PCB for their senior trip. Two houses allowed for separating girls and guys. Had just enough space and so convenient to the beach access as well as having a pool between the houses. I would recommend!!! Management was always available and responded quickly with any questions or minor issues. Totally recommend!

Great location and property but needs maintenance

We have stayed at this property and it was great for our group. However, this trip we found that the property needed a lot of maintenance - there were issues with hot water and some of the showers. There were also issues with the internet. Additionally, the property was not very clean. There were mounds of trash under the sofas and a scary amount of trash in the couch cushions. The location is still great and having the two houses with the shared pool and deck space is great. The host just needs to invest in doing some maintenance and repair work and having the cleaning team do a more thorough job.

Good for a large group

We had a huge group and plenty of space! Great place for a big group. Super close to the beach and the pool between the houses is great! Would stay again if we come back to the area with a big group.

Family vacation

I only gave 4 stars overall due to listing accuracy. The location and pool made this home enjoyable .The beds were super comfortable to mention the positive things first and the host nina responded quickly when notified . Many things broken, not major issues thankfully. It was listed that there was a tv in every room and a few bedrooms did not have a tv at all. Parking was not an issue for us but if you have large vehicles there could be issues due to limited parking which was not clearly marked for this specific house.Our family enjoyed the pool and location and would consider booking here again if these minor things get addressed.

Great location

This property is in a great location. With the 2 houses and 7 bedrooms our family of 14 had a great time. (The “8th bedroom” is actually in a hallway ) the kitchen is poorly furnished but we brought some of our own things. There are several things that need to be repaired/replaced and Nina was easy to talk with about these things. The best thing for me was the pool between the 2 houses and the covered outside eating/ socializing area. We would like to stay here again if things get fixed.

Great concept, average condition

The point of our visit was to have 4 generations together for a long weekend celebrating my parents 60th anniversary…mission accomplished. The layout of the two houses, together with the pool, made it very convenient, relaxing and chill. Now, there were several inconsistencies between the listing and reality. Nothing in this unit was brand new or even remotely recently updated. It didn’t just look dated, there were super obvious items that needed repair. Almost a deal breaker was the listing noted an accessibility feature…an elevator…that didn’t exist. These are three story houses with steep staircases. Cleanliness was average at best (black soles of the feet at end of the day) and kitchen accessories were minimal…certainly not enough for two kitchens, so they migrated to one. We did send our host a list of our observations and she was quick to respond with appreciation for the information since she’s not local to the unit. In the end, we enjoyed our weekend together and once I adjusted my expectations of the lodging, we made it work.

Baseball Family Trip

Five baseball families and two sets of grandparents left our state baseball tournament in Andalusia and came to stay together at the beach for a few days. We had so much fun, and these two houses were the perfect set-up for our big group!

Not what you see!

This property looks beautiful on the outside but for the money you pay it is NOT clean and has numerous things broken and not working inside both houses. Towel bars broken, door knobs broken, one of the houses the oven didn’t work, lights not working and tvs not working along with the weed smell we were greeted with when we arrived we will NOT be staying here again. I messaged the owner several times and didn’t get a response about things broken and not working when we got there. It’s very disappointing.

Amazing property

Great location! Excellent for big groups!

This property is in a great location on the quieter end of front beach, super close to the beach, as well as close to grocery stores, gas, etc. There’s a great amount of space for a large group, both in terms of sleeping spaces, but also living spaces, and outdoors. The group that rented this house before us appeared to have been a bit rough on it, so there were some minor damages and cleanliness issues, but nothing that impeded us having a great stay. Overall, beautiful houses, convenient location, plenty of space!

Amazing property

My group and I stayed here this past weekend for a beach retreat. It was an amazing home. Very nice, clean, and great location. We could not have had a better time. We will definitely be coming back soon. 10/10!

Great space and location, just needs a little TLC

We had a group of about 20 in the two houses down for a wedding. They provided plenty of space for our group, 4 bedrooms in each house and plenty of bathrooms. Each house had three bedrooms with one bed each, 5 kings and one queen all with bathrooms, that slept 12. And there was a bunk-bed bedroom in each house. Two bunk-beds in one and one in another. Getting 10 in one and 5 in another as suggestd is a stretch. We put 5 in one and 3 in the other which was fine, although the trundles were hard to pull out. The houses were clean and fairly well equipped. Nice big kitchen that seats many people. We really enjoyed the outdoor area with pool, deck and BBQs. Although only one of three sun shades on deck was installed and that was lose, which we were able to tighten and we found another one at the back of the house which we put up temporarily. Nina I recommend that all shades be installed as that is a requirement during the heat of summer and would make the deck much more pleasant. The location is great, two minute walk to the beach, grocery store near by and short drive to Pier Park. Parking was tight for our group but you could squeeze in 8 cars if you do it right which is probably sufficient for most. The owner Nina was great, very responsive and did what she could to fix the problems we had. The problems she could not fix during our stay she said were going to be tended to shortly. And that is what led me to a 3 vs 4 star rating, the total of small issues we had. I would probably had given a 3.5 stars if I could. We paid top dollar for the houses so I expected that the houses would not have any issues. The problem we had were fairly minor bathroom fans did not work, toilets ran, closet door broken, broken bedroom furniture, broken/loosely put together kitchen chairs, pool light breaker tripping and fridge that did not cool well. Nina if these issues were all fixed I would have given 4 or 4.5 stars. To take the houses to the next level all things need to be functioning, a nice size TV in the living room of the main house with a few more channels should be added. So overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for large groups.

Best Vaction!

27 of us stayed in the 2 houses for our senior trip and had the best time! The pool area had the perfect amount of space for us for hangout and the location was great. The walk to the beach was only 3 minutes. Both of the houses were very nice and the bunk beds were very convenient. Nina was very helpful and kind and even brought us extra cleaning supplies the first day we were there. Someone was sent to help us any time we had an issue with the stay. We are already planning a trip to come back next year!

Disappointed

Well to start off I wish I could have rated this property higher because it could have been an ideal place to stay. First I will begin by discussing the cons. Unfortunately, myself and my family were extremely disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the two buildings and property. Upon arrival to the property the first thing noticed was the stench of spilled beer and the amount of trash left behind by the previous renters. There were bottle caps, cigarette butts, and unwanted deflated rafts all around the property. The pool deck needs to be pressure washed. The cleanliness of the inside was poor as well. It is obvious that they were in too much of a rush to clean properly. One of the bedrooms still had a filled garbage bag full of mostly empty beer cans. The Televisions in all of the rooms that were mounted on the walls just had the cables and the cable boxes hanging loosely, there was just no attempt to make it look organized or neat. The staircase was carpeted and was stained almost a black color due to all of the foot traffic, they should just tear it out. In one of the kitchens there was a wall covered in what appeared to be a soda that exploded. It was very obvious and it should not have been missed during the clean up. In the same kitchen we noticed the refrigerator was not cold. After attempting to adjust the temperature several times with no change and comparing it to the identical fridge in the other unit which was very cold, we decided to notify the maintenance number on the fridge. The person on the line was polite and promptly sent out a maintenance person who arrived a few hours later. The maintenance person decided there was nothing wrong with the fridge and said he would be back but did not return until our departure day, one week later. We had to move everything that could spoil to the fridge that worked. The worst part is we were charged $35 for the maintenance call and it accomplished nothing. Also, the three of the toilets in one of the units continuously ran for our entire stay. The cons are too many. Now for the good things about our stay. The location on the west end of PCB was good because there is not as much tourist traffic (vehicles and pedestrians). The proximity of the units to the beach was great, just a short walk across the street. Overall, the place needs some TLC, not enough time in between renters to fix or clean anything properly. Great place to stay for college kids and/or partiers.

Had the best week !

We had a wonderful week staying at these beautiful homes! The house is in a perfect location..literally steps from the gorgeous beach. We loved that we didn't have to drive to the beach everyday, and we were close enough that we could go back to the house for lunch.We loved cooling off in the pool, and loved the outdoor seating and the great covered area on the patio. The homes had plenty of room for us. The bedrooms were large and the kids loved the bunk bed areas. Nina was so kind and helpful with every question I had. Was a great week full of memory making! You will not regret booking this property!

What a GREAT WEEK !!!

For you folks with families or groups: this place is the greatest ! Everything about this property is above board . We had a fabulous week. We had 20 adults and 6 kids( room for everybody ). The days were spent at the short walk to the beach and the large pool:, evenings, my brothers and sisters would fix wonderful meals on the gas grills or from the kitchens. After supper we would gather on the large deck and catch up on our lives. The young adults would play water volleyball in the pool. As I said we had 20 adults and 6 kids (ages 64 to 3). Parking was tight but we did have eight vehicles, as we came from all over. You can't get any better service than we received. Nina was always ready to respond at any hour and they checked on us everyday while servicing the pool. They were polite, friendly and professional in their duties! Our time was also spent shopping at Destin and Pier Park. Also conveniently located just a short distance away is Winn Dixie, Waffle House and Bayou Bill's. The only complaint I found out later was the half/bath had no mirror. I'm sure if I informed Nina, that would have been remedied in short notice. Again, I want to THANK Nina and her crew for a GREAT WEEK, and HIGHLY recommend these houses for your vacation!!!

What a gem

This property is one-of-a-kind !! We had a fantastic time, weather has been great and it's really close to pier Park . Fully stocked kitchens were a treat, houses were very clean, there was plenty of parking for all of our cars. Wonderful Owner, Location, Pool, and Space

I cannot speak highly enough of this rental property. The owner, Nina, was absolutely wonderful to work with and helped us get situated. The location of the house was perfect: it is less than a two-minute walk to the beach access and is very easy to do with young children. This part of the beach is GORGEOUS! Soft sand, beautiful water, and fairly private. We were there during peak season, and there was plenty of room on the beach in the mornings and afternoons. It is a considerably quieter beach than closer to PCB, which was exactly what we wanted for our family. The house is also less than a five-minute drive to a grocery store, pharmacy, and Bayou Bill's (which our party found to be quite an enjoyable night out). The residential area was quiet, but we were only 15-20 minutes away from the numerous activities in PCB. The house itself is great, too! We stayed in the bigger of the two houses and had plenty of space. We loved that the kitchen and the dining room were on the entrance floor. The three king bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were awesomely comfortable. The fourth "bedroom" is less of a bedroom and more of a very functional open space on the second floor. It isn't private (you have to walk through it to get to the stairs and to the laundry), but it was a great sleeping space for our kids and worked out perfectly. The house was clean (a high priority for us), modern, and comfortable. I would highly recommend this house for a large family or two families (we had four adults and four kids under 10). This isn't a complaint at all, but it might be important to note for folks: the house is three stories, so there are LOTS of stairs. Our family ranged in ages from 5-69, and we didn't mind the stairs at all (we joked that we were working off our dinners!). Plus, the stairs is what provides access to a great third-story balcony view! The pool was an AMAZING addition to this vacation. After spending the mornings at the beach, we enjoyed the pool in the hot afternoons. The four kids LOVED swimming, and the pool is definitely large enough to actually swim in, which isn't something that can be said of all private pools. The pool was clean and provided us hours and hours and hours of relaxation and activity. We had a great vacation in large part due to staying at this great home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

BEACH WEDDING

My family and I stayed for a beach wedding and the homes accommodated our 15 family members well!!! We drove from Texas and had more than enough room to park all of our vehicles. The homes are beautifully decorated and have comfortable and plenty of beds. The view from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies are stunning. The courtyard with the private pool is so luxuries. Access to the beach is convenient and the homeowner supplied towels, chairs and umbrella. We look forward to coming back and making more memories!!
