Retaining the historic look and character of the original gold miners' Cottages outside, the contemporary, stylish interiors of the three fully self-contained Cottages welcome you to relax, unwind and indulge yourself in luxurious comfort.

The finest linen and coverings on big, comfy beds. Soft, cosy couches where you can sit back and enjoy a movie or take time out to read all the weekend papers. Pamper yourself in a deep, relaxing bath while your partner prepares you a breakfast of poached fresh local eggs on toast, with a cuppa, in the fully equipped modern kitchen.

Or simply sleep in, take your time, then decide on which Café you'll stroll to to enjoy a hearty country brunch followed by a freshly-made dessert and piping hot coffee. Everything is at your doorstep - General store,pubs, historic and River walks, tennis court, mountain trails, 4WDriving, swimming, fishing and the idyllic Jamieson Island.

Comfortable clean modern well maintained cottage. Right next to Hotel. Host happy to answer questions. Would recommend if wanting to enjoy quiet mountains whilst visiting local area.

Great location

Clean and cosy in a great location, right behind the Main Street and a short stroll down to the river. Enclosed backyard, great for dogs especially little ones that can squeeze through gaps and fit under things.

Reviewer Comments: Jamieson is a lovely small country town and the stay in River Rock Cottage is perfectly situated with amenities just around the corner and a short stroll from the Jamieson River - the river is absolutely gorgeous.The tranquil surrounds are perfect if you are wanting peace and quite; away from the hustle and bustle of life in Melbourne.The layout of the property was great and the small backyard which was fully fenced was perfect for our little pooch.We had all that was needed in this cottage. The only small negative was that the BBQ and the kitchen and living floor could have been cleaner.Communication with the owner was no issue; she was great.Overall, our stay at Jamieson in the River Rock Cottage was a positive one and would highly recommend.

Accomodation was excellent

Accommodation was excellent. Very clean, warm and had all of the essentials. Beware of the owner of the pub, extremely rude and not sure how they stay in business. Not to be deflected from the other town folk, the thai restaurant has amazing good and the Cafe and General Store friendly.

Amazing little cottage

This place was amazing! Unfortunately we had a situation where we had to leave a property and Loren (host) was very quick to respond about a last minute checkin. She went above and beyond to get us in the cottage within a couple of hours. It was clean spotless I should say, everything you needed was available. Very comfortable and cosy. Perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Definitely stay there again. Once again thanks Loren for being your help and our stay.
