Bad Behavior

I don't usually give bad reviews, but in this case, I felt it was important. The service and cleanliness of this rental were terrible. The rental manager, Kat, replied to my email inquiring about the check-in process with the address and building #44. When my adult children arrived, we spent about an hour on the phone because Kat insisted that I get the check-in information from the property owner. She was very antagonistic with my adult children. I sent a screenshot of her email and she realized her mistake but blamed my kids for poor communication instead of admitting she was wrong and apologizing for her behavior. Additional issues: rental was filthy, empty bags of chips and cans under the beds. Hours of operation for the hot tub was 10pm or 300 fine to prevent noise when the neighborhood was very noisy. Overall, the only good thing was the location being close to the slopes. We will not be returning.

Great Location, But Watch Out For a Few Things...

Great location, walk to the ski lifts. We initially booked a place that had a hot tub, but were called a day later and told that the place we booked was already booked and that we should not have been allowed to book it! This was a big deal for us and I had message the property manager through VRBO twice to confirm our hot tub was going to be operational, but never heard back until they reached out to tell us we couldn't get the room we wanted. So they swtiched us to a different room. All of these townhomes have the exact same layout. We stayed on a different one last year with another family and were able to use the loft area. The kids loved sleeping up there! When we arrived at this property we were told that we did not have access to the loft. It would have been nice if they could have stated that to begin with when we reserved the place!!! The bed in the master was VERY high off the ground and was super duper firm. Not comfortable and difficult to get in and out of. The heater, for some reason, made the master the hottest room in the entire place. So in order for the rest of the place to be warm, we had to keep our window open to keep the master at the right temperature. The curtains in the master and upstairs in the living room were super sheer for some reason. So neighbors could totally see everything you were doing in the master and living room at all times. And it made it way too bright in the morning! The curtain rods did not extend out past the edge of the windows, so the curtains had about a 2-3 inch gab that people could see into your bed at all times. The dishes were dirty that were put away in the cupboards. Caked on bits of food. Gross. They make you wash all of your own dishes before you check out, but they should have cleaning crew do this to ensure guests don't leave dirty stuff. And they did not have any dish soap at all in kitchen. Shower upstairs had very little water pressure. There were just alot of things that, for the price, should not have been. I mean people could literally see into our bedroom both because of how sheer curtains were and because of gaps on the edges. And dirty dishes, that should be illegal during COVID to require guests to clean kitchen wares. And then the bait and switch with the hot tub room and the fact that we weren't told that we could not use the loft. And the pictures online did not match the unit we were in.

Snow Summit Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked last minute and they were accommodating. The only downside is our unit did not have wifi set up - and there was not very good cell service. It ended up being no problem as we were there to get away from it all but in case of an emergency we would have had minimal options.

Pretty Bad

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was not supposed to be rented. Heater was not working. The was flagged for renovation. After 2 nights staying there they gave us unit 64 to stay after our complaints.
