Beautiful Tudor 3 bedroom/2bath home in centrally located in Desirable Elmwood neighborhood. 5 to 15 minutes from all 3 Universities. 7 minutes from downtown. Restaurants & stores are closer, as well. Home is furnished, towels, and kitchen items are provided. There is an outdoor cooking area with a propane grill, if you prefer to cook out with friends and/or family on a beautiful day. Ample off street parking. Visiting nurses welcome. Perfect location for graduations, visiting the Air Force Base, waiting for base housing, or living off base. A place to call home while building your dream home or working in Abilene.

My host Paige , she's been incredibly kind and welcoming, and she always checked in to make sure our stay has been comfortable. Whenever we had any questions or issues, she responded quickly and helped resolve them right away. We truly feel she is a very responsible and caring host. If we have the chance, we would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Very comfortable

We were very pleased with our stay. The Property is centrally located and convenient to all locations. The owner provides all necessities and keeps in contact if there is a problem. The home was roomy, clean and comfortable. We would definitely rent this house again. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Wonderful Experience

This is a lovely home full of antique treasures and immaculately decorated! It is clean, comfy, and tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood. We were staying here for my daughter's graduation from ACU. We wanted a place were everyone could come together and relax, and this was the perfect spot. Not only is the home amazing so is the neighborhood and the owner. Paige was so kind and attended to all our needs. She even left a thoughtful gift for us to celebrate this joyous occasion. Staying here made this graduation celebration even more special!!! My youngest daughter will start ACU next Fall and we will definitely stay here again if we have a large group. Thank you Paige for making our stay in your precious home such a delight! :)

Best Communication Ever From An Owner

Paige's home is a very cozy older home in a great neighborhood. Too many little personal touches to list. The Kuerig coffee machine was awesome, especially with the coffee pods she left for us. There were enough coffee pods for the 3 of us to have 1 to 2 cups of coffee per day for the entire 12 nights! Paige also left us a bag of mini candy bars, which was a very nice touch. The home is an older home that she is updating. There is an automatic Roomba style vacuum which kept the floors very clean throughout our stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a full size refrigerator, oven, gas stovetop and dishwasher. There is an AT&T hotspot for wifi service in the home. The enclosed backyard is huge! The bathroom in the master bedroom has a shower stall. The other bathroom has a built in bathtub, which didn't have a shower curtain installed for it, as it was setup more for families with kids to use the sprayer for washing kids hair, ect. Paige actually texted me a couple of days into our stay to ask if I wanted her contractor to install a shower curtain since we were a group of 3 adults. She already had a really neat oval rod in the garage for him to install. She kept in constant contact about the installation and how the house was working out for us. We texted back and forth so much during our stay that it seemed more like we were friends than renters! Bottom line is that this was the best VRBO or Airbnb stay I have ever had! I have stayed at many rentals and have never had an owner so involved to make sure our stay was perfect. Thanks again Paige!

Not ready for guests

Property listing is accurate. It is in a nice neighborhood with trees and the home is cute. However, owner is not quite ready for guests. The house is in the process of being remodeled. Several walls were bare to the rough construction and kitchen floor was pulled but that's not the frustrating part. When we arrived, around 5:00 pm, she was there vacuuming and cleaning up the home. It was for the most part ready but come to find out she didn't have a car. We left for about an hour to give her time to finish up but she was still there and did not have a ride. She said her car was in the shop. My husband had to give her a ride to a friends house. Awkward.... My husband and I were traveling with two teenagers. The bedrooms were nice and spacious. That night I took a shower and washed my hair. I then could not find a hair dryer - very disappointing and had very frizzy hair the next day. In the early morning, the Roomba vacuum went off at 5:00 am - waking us up when we needed a little more rest. Now that we were up, we searched for a coffee pot/coffee without any luck. I was very disappointed. The living area did not have enough room for us to sit and watch TV - wanted to watch basketball game. There was one coach and another bench like sofa but neither were very comfortable. No WiFi. That was not a deal breaker but would have been nice. I believe this property has potential but needs a few details to accommodate. We ended up leaving, even though we paid for two nights. We drove on down to Fredricksberg and got a hotel that had coffee and a hair dryer. I know that might sound silly but just wanted to be somewhere with the basics.

Charming home

Our family of five really enjoyed staying in this lovely home. It was perfect to meet the needs of a quick weekend trip to Abilene. The owner was really kind and even went out of her way to buy our three boys extra games that we were able to play as a family. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

My husband and a couple employees stayed there while they were working at Dyess AFB. Paige was very quick to reply for any questions and made their stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend.
