Welcome to the Queen Residence. Look no further for luxurious accommodations located on the beautiful Colonial Lake. Just a few short blocks to King Street and many of our shops and restaurants. Lovely garden with a table and chairs for outdoor dining greets you when you arrive. Walk up stairs for entry into the private, two story apartment. Upon entry you will notice the amazing kitchen to your left and the nicely appointed dining and living space directly in front of you. On the top floor you have both queen bedrooms. Both bedrooms provide luxurious bedding, private baths, and in room safes. Each room is also equipped with Cable TV and Netflix along with the living room for your enjoyment. A continental get started breakfast is provided and the kitchen is stocked with other enjoyable fare.

Great stay in the Low Country.

Place is great. As advertised. You do share an interior door with the family that owns the house. This can not be locked. I would definitely stay here again!One word of caution for older individuals. There are two flights of exterior stairs to get for the apartment and then the living quarters are on the next floor. Navigating this with heavy luggage could be problematic.

Overall Nice but could have been Better No Working Refrigerator

Location near Colonial Lake and Queen Street worked out great for us. Quiet but walkable to historic district. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Living and dining area was adequate for two couples. Note that there are 20 exterior stairs to reach the unit plus another flight of stairs to reach the bedrooms and bathroom. Also there is an unlocked interior door that connects the VRBO and the Owners Quarters. Communication was slow and disjointed. Hours to days went by between questions and answers. Also some communication was through VRBO and other times via email directly from the Management Company. Did not receive typical Check In instructions from Host. Told that someone would meet me at house with keys and parking passes. After a wait and no response from call and text to management company we rang the Owner Doorbell and was told to head upstairs the unit was open and the keys were inside. We were greeted with a very warm unit as the AC was not on. The biggest issue was that the Refrigerator was not working. There was an empty cooler on the kitchen floor. No ice in the cooler nor the freezer. Note on Fridge said to contact owner Pam with any questions. Went downstairs and Pam said it just broke. We asked for ice and she said she was having company and could only give us a few cups of ice. Told us she did not have time and to call management company. After 6 hours Management said Fridge broken for a while

Gorgeous apartment in the perfect location

This property was perfect for our trip to Charleston. We were visiting for the Historic Home and Garden Tour. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and in the ideal location for sight seeing. We were in walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the historic district. The beds were so comfortable in this place that I was disappointed when I returned to my own at home. I will absolutely return to this property for future Charleston visits.

Stunning home

The rooms were laid out in excellent taste. Plenty of room. Parking was available and important! Hosts are friendly and most accommodating. We really enjoyed the location and this great walking city. Beds and bathrooms with so much space! Will definitely stay here again!
