Enjoy your own private beach at Sunshine Lake House on Skaha Lake! This property is perfect for families or groups of 8 and we are PET FRIENDLY. We are registered with the City of Penticton as a vacation rental #00112292. We have been in operation as a vacation rental since 2015.

Sunshine Lakehouse has had a major renovation. Enter the craftsman style porch to a well-appointed kitchen with a huge island, a gas range, large fridge/freezer, bar fridge, two sinks and two dishwashers. The spacious living room and dining area have windows that overlook the lake. The master bedroom has a patio door with lake views that opens to the deck. The master ensuite has a walk-in shower, a stellar blue tub, double vanity and a toilet. The main floor also has a mudroom with access to a two piece bathroom and stackable washer dryer unit.

The upstairs has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the bathrooms has a large tiled shower, a toilet and a large single vanity. Guest room #1 and #2 each have a queen size bed , closet and overlooks the lake. Guestroom #3 has a queen size bed, large closet and over looks the hillside. The bunkroom has two queen beds and two twin beds and a tv to connect your own gaming equipment. There is also an upstairs laundry.

The large deck overlooking the lake can be accessed through the dining room and master bedroom. There is a large fenced in grassy area, perfect for small children and pets. Down a few stairs is 80 feet of sandy beach. The beach has 7 adirondack chairs , a firepit and a rack that holds 4 kayaks for guest use. Please check City of Penticton for information on seasonal fire bans. The lake is shallow in front of the house. There is a buoy 200m out from the house for daytime use. Guests can book a slip at the Skaha Marina for overnight.

There is no inside garage parking or guest access as the garage is for owner storage. There are three guest parking spots in front of the garage and two spots on the street in front of the hedge. There is a garage mudroom for guests to store bikes, strollers, golf clubs, skis etc.

There are no events or parties to be held at the lakehouse.

Beautiful Lakehouseā€¦even better than we expected!! Plenty of space for all of us (8 adults & a 1 year old). Huge, well appointed kitchen, large fridge & 2 dishwashers were very beneficial for a large group. We had a very nice relaxing week with beautiful views from the large deck.We enjoyed our family holiday & would like to stay here again !!

Relaxing summer stay!

The view and location here are absolutely stunning! Close to town and wineries. Plenty of comfy seats inside and outside on the private beach area. Would highly recommend! Was peaceful and relaxing with the added bonus of kayak and paddle boards was fun!

Wine Tasting Weekend

Met up with friends for a long weekend of wine tasting. This house is a great location and being on the lake was amazing. Gorgeous house with plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful property!

The property was as beautiful as described. Access and communication with host was excellent. A little difficulty with parking at first because we had 2 pick-ups and the driveway is on a bend in the highway, but we figured it out. Amazing lake house !!

We had an amazing stay at the lake house. It was wonderful for our family of 5 adults and 2 children . So spacious, sooo well equipped, and soooo beautiful. There was everything you could possibly need. It was perfect for us. Everyone loved our time there. We wish it could have been longer. Thank you so very much for having us.

Quiet, the view is amazing and the lake is steps away

Had a great time with the family. Each enjoyed there own rooms and wash facilities. a place for family and friends to enjoy the good times, the dining table large to fit all. Just like home! Everything was clean, except for one room, the sheets smelled sour, indication they were left in the washing machine too long before they hit the drier. Suggest remove from washing machine immediately.

It was a perfect little oasis. My family had an enjoyable get away weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us. Was impressed with the supplies the house had,ex.. ( dishes, cutlery, pans pots etc. would like to return!

Great spot on a beautiful lake

We were 4 couples staying in Penticton for a mountain bike trip in Oct. There was lots of room for us all. And our bikes were stored safely in the garage. We particularly liked the beach area with firepit in the evenings. It was a fun weekend and the house and property set the tone.

Beautiful spot

Great place for a small family get together (3 couples) and so nice that pets are permitted. The location is convenient and the view and outdoor space are fabulous! Lots of seating in living area which is something we often find lacking in vacation rentals. Can definitely tell itā€™s been well used and is due for a refresh, but comfortable. One suggestionā€¦Someone might want to take a look at the dishwasher as the pods never fully dissolved and there was always some food bits left, no matter which cycle we tried. Overall a great time and weā€™ll be watching to see what it looks like when the reno is done! Thanks!
