The Barn (private condo/apartment)
Fully furnished apartment in Old Ranch area of Park City Utah. 5-10 min drive to the ski resorts. The apartment comes with cooking supplies, bedding, and all the basics for your stay. It's located in what we call 'the barn,' this is a separate structure from our house, the 1st level is the garage and the 2nd level is the apartment. It's a 1,000 sq ft, 1 bed, 1.5 bath, plus utility room with your own washer and dryer. New construction with all the bells and whistles.
Master bedroom with walk-in closet and private deck with open space views. Beautiful kitchen with brand new appliances. Gorgeous hardwood floors and finishings. Washer and dryer in your own utility room. BBQ on deck. Open floor plan. TV, high-speed internet, DVD.
You access the apartment via the garage/barn, private stairs up the silo, to your apartment. The barn is a separate structure from our house and very private.
This is a popular Park City neighborhood called 'Old Ranch' appropriately termed for the larger estates and lot sizes. Great access to the ski resorts, XC ski trails, hiking trails, restaurants, and nightlife. Uber services available or rent a car. This apartment is NOT close to public transportation stops.

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful area!
I hated to leave this place. It was quiet, comfortable and very well equipped. The views were beautiful. It was extremely private and quiet, in a neighborhood that was a very short drive- 10 minutes- to most everything in PC. I had a fantastic vacation and the hosts were terrific. Thank you so much.

We had a great stay at Grady's place! The place was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities you might need. Grady was super helpful and made the process very easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Father Son Ski Week 2020
This was the perfect place for my son and I to access 4 different ski mountains. The Canyons is minutes away,. Park City 10 minutes and Deer Valley 15. Our best day was at Alta, which took us just under 1 hour. The Barn was clean and spacious with excellent heating and plenty of hot water. Quiet and private. Ample clean towels and a new washer/dryer. Grady was responsive and generous with options when he couldn't accommodate a late check out. Maybe hang an additional mirror?. Loved the whole experience. Great value. Would definitely book again.

Winter Trip 2020
We had a great time staying at "The Barn." The owner was very helpful with any questions we had. Place was clean and included everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Highly recommended if looking for some piece and quite yet close to town/mountains. We will definitely be returning for a future stay.

Lovely modern, clean apartment with wonderful views
Interesting alternative to a regular condo. This is an apartment above a detached barn/garage surrounded by fields. Great location, only 10 minutes from PCMR and 15 from Deer Valley. Outdoor parking. Could use a little more cutlery in the kitchen. Beautiful apartment, great valley for money. Friendly owners onsite in house on same property. I'd highly recommend this property!

GREAT QUIET SPOT
IF your looking to be off the beaten path with pure privacy and quiet this is it. You feel more like a local here than a tourist. The apartment is nicely appointed, very comfortable and great for a couple. Access is simple, the owners accessible if needed and location is convenient to all park city amenities. I come to park city frequently and this unit has now moved to the top of my list when I travel alone or with one other family member.

Gute, große und ruhige Unterkunft
Die Ferienwohnung im 1. Stock des Nebengebäudes ist eine gute Basis für einen Skiurlaub in Park City. Es sind nur 3 Min mit dem Auto zu den kostenlosen Parkplätzen der Talstation Canyons und knapp 10 min zur Talstation Park City. Zum Einkaufen/Essen sind es auch nur 5 Min mit dem Auto (öffentlicher Nahverkehr ist dort nicht vorhanden), ebenso zu den Tanger Outlets.
Die Wohnung ist groß und gut ausgestattet, mit separatem Schlafzimmer, großem Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche und Esstisch. Alle notwendigen Utensilien sind vorhanden und es gibt reichlich Stauraum. Einziges Manko ist die etwas erratische Lüftung/Heizung (NEST-Thermostat) die nur AN oder AUS kennt und bei AN mit voller (Laut)stärke bläst/heizt. Es wird zwar schnell warm und die Temperatur lässt isch stufenlos regeln, aber ein etwas gemäßigteres Gebläse wäre gut.
Trotzdem, insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

The Barn!
The Barn was PERFECT! My husband and I had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and a big kitchen. Super close to skiing and Park City, as well as restaurants and grocery stores in Kimball Junction. Beautiful views in every direction. Very private and quiet. We would surely do this again. Absolutely just right!! Thank you!!

Good value but expect a short drive to town and the slopes
Owners were nice people. Good neighborhood. This apartment was very roomy for 2 occupants 4 people would not feel crowded. If you like hot water there was no shortage. The full size washer and dryer were great all other appliances were modern and worked well although the forced air heat was, well, forceful. The furnishings were good quality showing normal wear for a rental unit. The stairs to the apt. were no problem. There was more than adequate space in the garage for ski storage. Things I would have liked to be different. A better lock on the apt. door the hook latch just did not work for me a one way dead bolt would have been better. The path to the apt. needed to be cleared of ice and snow although we did raise one of the garage doors and were able to come and go that way and feel comfortable . The location is at the end of a long unpaved gravel private drive which is VERY pot holed. The potholes result from winter construction being done on a new house close by. If you are staying during the winter I would strongly suggest a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We did not anticipate that need as I knew the area was flat, but, we lucked out as to the amount of snow and ice and moderate temperatures we received during our stay so our 2 wheel drive was adequate. With colder temps and a big snow you might be stuck for a day or two without adequate means of transportation. Public transportation is a long way from this location. Location is good for day trip to Alta, Brighton about 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive. Parking is uncovered so be prepared for defrosting or snow removal and warming up in the mornings. It would be nice if the owner would offer one of the heated garage bays for inside parking. I would suggest parking one of the unused vehicles in front of the other vehicles to free up a bay. The Nest thermostat was a paradox to me. We liked to keep it cool at night around 65 degrees and 68 during the day. It would turn itself on and go to 72 sometime during the night making it too hot and I would have to get up and turn it back down maybe I did not understand how to operate it properly more instruction might be helpful. More towels and wash cloths for the bath and more place servings for the kitchen so you do not have to run the dish washer every day for just 2 occupants that sure would save hot water and soap. A few minor improvements a few more dishes and towels and a heated parking space and I could give a 5 out of 5 and this would be a great value
