Our beautifully decorated apartment is in an ideal town location, with no hills to climb, overlooking sandy beaches and marina with nearby tavernas, restaurants and shops. The spacious apartment has a separate bedroom with two single beds. The living area has comfortable single bed and fold up bed for additional guests and a kitchenette with all necessary equipment. Each room has a balcony with both sea and mountain views. There is a private bathroom with bath/shower, WC and hand wash basin. Bed linen and towels are provided. Living on the premises Anna, who has been here for over 30 years, is available 24 hours to help you enjoy your vacation, giving advice on where to go and what to do.

Easy access to archaeology and historical places of interest - Minoan palaces, Byzantine churches and monasteries, caves and traditional villages and boat trips to Santorini, Donkey Island and of course the nearby island of Spinalonga the Leper Colony - have you read Victoria Hislop's book The Island -

What to do : Whether you want to sit on the beach and soak in the sun or swim in the safe waters or perhaps hire a car and discover the pine forests nearby or visit the famous Lasithi plateau or hike in the hills and gorges, Agios Nikolaos is the place to stay being so close to so many activities. Sports, art and music festivals take place throughout the year with several traditional celebrations for you to enjoy. Very friendly and helpful hosts and everything is nearby: town, harbour, shopping, restaurants and a very god Beach. Very beautiful area. We had a few restaurants recomended. Christofylis meze is more than you Can imagine. Real greek food when it is Best. I’ll be back for more Maze 😍🇬🇷👍

L' hôtesse est très accueillante. L' intérieur de l'appartement est conforme aux photos. Pour ce qui est de la vue, il est clair que les photos ne correspondent pas ! Façon tout de même particulière de présenter un produit. Nous avions dans l'idée d'un petit coin calme. Vous serez en pleine ville avec pour vue de ce que nous avions pris pour une zone de verdure, un terrain de foot bien animé par la jeunesse locale... Pour voir la mer grimper d'un ou deux étages peut être... Impossibilité de stationner ne serait ce qu'un instant pour déposer vos bagages... Nous avons écourté le séjour. Les amoureux de la ville et des bars tonitruants de Marina seront ravis.

Central and clean appartment with great views

The appartment is in a residential area within easy walking distance to several of the beaches, the lake and many good restaurants etc. We were met by Anne (the owner) who was extremely welcoming and helpful in providing both general and tourist information about the local and surrounding areas (all easily accessible by public transport). Anne also gave some excellent recommendations for places to eat which were great, (particularly Chrisofyllis and Paradosiako) both are near Kitroplatia beach. We also loved the quirky pizza bar 'Sirocco' at the Marina which has a lovely friendly atmosphere and ambience. The short, but hilly walk upto Chez George for a cocktail is well worth it to fully appreciate great views of the lake. In conclusion, we would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this appartment ... Anne and her husband Vasilis will ensure your needs are met where possible.

Gerne wieder

Wir wurden sehr freundliche von Anna empfangen, bekamen gleich alle wichtigen Informationen für den Ort, das war wirklich hilfreich. Das Apartment liegt wirklich sehr zentral. Einen Parkplatz für das Auto haben wir auch immer gefunden. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist abends wunderschön, morgens kann man in der Sonne frühstücken.

Great Apartment with central location and stunning views

We stayed 4 nights and found the apartment to be very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The unit is spacious and has a nice balcony and a great view of the sea. We had a car, but it is not needed for the apartment is located very close to the city center and within walking distance to most sites and restaurants. Anne is a wonderful host and is very helpful in assisting you with sight seeing information and recommendations. If you have a car, there is free public parking very near by. The area is safe. We were delighted with our stay and plan to stay there again next year.

Good location and good value

We were there end of May. Anne picked us up right after we arrived at bus station. Anne was very accommodating on our deposit. The apartment is in good location and walking distance to the town center, Marina, restaurants and bus station. The neighborhood is safe and everyone is very friendly. The room we stayed is good for 2 people. The balcony has a great view of ocean. There is a small supermarket around the corner you can get water and fruits. The restaurants Anne recommended are good.

Perfect apartment in Agios Nikolaos

The apartment is set in the beautiful neighborhood in the center of Agios Nikolaos. Although many referred to it as a residential neighborhood I found it to be perfect for spending holidays and easy for exploration of the other parts of Eastern Crete (specifically, beaches are to the right, lake is to the left, and the bus station is behind). The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, spacious, and light. The rooms are equipped with everything necessary for the perfect holidays and even few extras (the owners have been very generous in offering welcome gifts). One very important thing that should not be overlooked is that the amazing view from the flat - sea, mountains, trees, guarantees a complete tranquility. I could not have wished for more. Bousoulas Apartments

We have stayed in these apartments on several occasions which speaks for itself.Have booked again for this year. wonderful views over the sports stadium where you can watch local football. Handy location for the bus station if you like to travel around but don't want to drive.Anne is a keen walker and will help you in this. The apartments are well maintained - local supermartket nearby.also restuarants/bars. a warm friendly welcome awaits!

A perfect choice with a feeling of homeliness

We are visiting Agios Nikolaos a couple of time every year. The second time we discovered Bousoulas. It´s perfect for us. Situated near the town center and with a wonderful view over the sea. The appartments are spacious with balcony towards the sea. The studios on the roof are quite small, but very charmy. It´s very well cleaned, and the host and hostess are very very nice. We are looking forward to the spring (2010) when we are coming back to Bousoulas.

Bousoulas Apartments Agios Nikoalos 2009

Nov 2009–Jan 2010 We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in one of Anne’s apartments during the winter months – we were worried about the weather but can you believe it - for 2 months we only saw 3 days of rain during our stay during November and December. In fact my wife was swimming most days. The apartment was perfect being able to walk from there to all the town facilities – plenty of tavernas and bars still open during the winter months. The accommodation was spacious and clean and it was great to sit on the balcony for breakfast or lunch with the sun shining on us. We hope to come back in May to enjoy more of Anne’s walks so we can see the spring flowers out in bloom. Highly recommended place to stay for all ages booking for a short or long stay.

My stay at the apartment was very enjoyable. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the views were fantastic. I was made to feel very welcome. I would recommend this to my friends. The tavernas and bars are very good and friendly.

Bousoulas Apts

We booked a last minute flight in October 2009 and luckily founs a vacancy with Annes. We had a lovely apartment with a great view. It's just a short walk to the centre of the town, no car needed, which made the holiday so easy. The apartment was spotless with all the necessary self-catering amenities – we especially liked the fresh decor and the green furniture. Anne really made us feel welcome giving us tips on where to go and eat and of course being a walker and having written her own walking book, we had a mine of information for hiking and had plenty to do. To anyone thinking of staying in Agios Nikolaos, check out her accommodation!

Wonderful hospitality at Anne and Vasili's

The accomodation was very good for the price and very central to the town and port. The rooms were well kept and clean and offered the facilites we wanted. The main recommendation, for us, was the very friendly and helpul owners,(Anne- English and Vasili-Greek) who go out of their way to see that the stay is a great sucess. Their knowledge of the surroundings is second to none- whether its walking, swimming, trips or special beaches. Their connections with the locals ensures that you get the best advice. The famliy also run a cocktail bar at the Lake which provides excellent service. I would certainly recommend this establishment to all our friends. The appartment rates are flexible for winter stays and of considerable help to local yacht owners.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in the well-appointed Bousoulas apartments. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. We were given good advice by the owners as to where to visit and eat out, they couldnt have been more helpful. We particularly enjoyed the walks recommended by Anne in her book. I would certainly recommend this place to my friends

Bousoulas apartments, aghios Nikolaos, Crete

we had a wonderful holiday at Bousoulas apartments last year. The rooms were very clean and well-equipped, and the owners were very friendly and informative. Aghios Nikolaos is a delighful town with plenty for everyone. We enjoyed boat trips, and several walks in the mountains and gorges. Anne is a very experienced walker and has written a very useful book on walks in eastern crete.The bars and restaurants at the lake are lively and a great way to spend lunchtime or evening. The apartments overlook the town beach, and there are otherbeaches a short walk further away.

Bousoulas Apts Agios Nikolaos

We have stayed at the apartments twice at this time of year. They are comfortable, convenient and well situated. Being family run (English owner), there is a personal interest taken in guests during their stay. The owner has extensive experience of walking in Eastern Crete and has written a comprehensive guide. Many of the walks can be reached using local buses. It is therefore an ideal base for both exploring the area and relaxing at local tavernas by the beach. The owners also sell their own delicious olive oil in packaging that enables you to take plenty home.

Anna is British with Greek husband Vasili married for nearly 50 years! They both enjoy hiking and swimming. Before retirement they ran a bar and restaurant so enjoy talking to people and know alot about the area and have travelled around Crete so available for more in depth information.

They love Agios NIkolaos for easy access for getting into the country. The nearby beaches are sheltered so even when there are strong winds there is always somewhere safe to swim - unlike most of the rest of the north coast where sometimes red flags fly.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The apartment is well maintained as Vasili is a good handyman! The views are spectacular with no buildings hiding the sea and mountain views. Sitting on the balcony - an umbrella provided for the morning sun but by lunchtime the sun has moved so comfortable sitting in the shade watching the boats leaving the marina. The position of the apartment is excellent as a short walk to 3 beaches plus easy flat walk to centre of the town.
