Get the local feel in a nice and safe neighborhood in the heart of Rome!

CasaLilli is a place where you can feel the security and warmth of home. We are an English-speaking family, making it easy to communicate your wants and needs.

It has a modern and very spacious living/dining room with a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two, satellite TV, DVD player, and a stereo CD player. There are two tastefully appointed bathrooms, one with a bathtub, and the other with a shower and a hair dryer. The master bedroom, furnished with antique furniture, has a decidedly romantic feel. The other bedroom, with twin beds and a study, is comfortable and contemporary. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The kitchen is completely equipped with a mini oven, a four burner gas range with oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, blender, toaster, plus all the necessary cooking utensils. It leads to a terrace where you can enjoy your meals al fresco. A washing machine and flat iron complete the list of amenities.

CasaLilli is within walking distance from the sites of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trajan Market, and Circus Maximus. Just around the corner, and not to be missed, is the Basilica of San Clemente, a structure of three churches built one on top of the other during three different eras, thus condensing 2000 years of Christian history. The Domus Aurea, better known as the Golden House of Nero, is just a couple of blocks away. It was from here that the famous Emperor watched while Rome burned.

The Villa Celimontana, the venue for the annual summer Jazz and Image Festival, is just a 3-minute walk from CasaLilli. This is a beautiful park where you can go jogging, have picnics, or simply enjoy an afternoon stroll.

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Lilli. The host was very welcoming and the location is great for using public transportation or grabbing a taxi. The area is very safe and quiet compared to other parts of the city center and it is just a stones throw away from the Colosseum. I would definitely stay at this residence again.

The apartment was lovely and very clean, which i appreciated. Great space for us to visit as a family while on vacation. It is in a great location to restaurants and transportation options. We walked to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Mary Major Basillica. Would definitely stay here again. Marmi, the host, was very helpful throughout our stay.

Wonderful location, just a few blocks away from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. There were lots of great restaurants and a grocery store within a few-minutes walk of the flat. Our host, Marmi, was wonderful. She quickly responded to all of our questions and needs; she even arranged two great days with a private tour guide on short notice. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay excellent. All amenities in kitchen salt, oil, sugar etc. very convenient even the coffee. Location very close to Coliseum, restaurants and 24 hour market. Central location but out of the hustle and bustle of the main area. Finally the host was awesome!! My back went out and suffered severe sciatica leaving me with excruciating pain and in mobilized. In an unknown country I had no one except for the host. She helped trying to locate care for me, made follow up calls and I had to stay 2 extra days. She also was helping us locate lodging. Marmi was a blessing it made us feel we had someone in a country that was unknown to us. Definitely recommend !!

Excellent location and lovely, clean apartment within walking distance to restaurants and the Colosseum, with a gelato place on the corner. The friendly host was there upon arrival to answer our questions and give us suggestions. We were able to use the washing machine and hang clothes to dry on her terrace. We had a very nice stay and felt at home at her property.

Needed a place to stay while in Rome with my son. The hostess was helpful in arranging a car to pick us up from the airport. She met us at the apartment and showed us around our home for the next 4 days. She shared some tips for getting around Rome as well as some restaurant recommendations. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable! WiFi was included, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Two blocks from the Colosseum- can’t beat the location!

Great apartment 2 blocks from the Colloseum! Host met my sister for check in which was a breeze, she even offered a quick tour of the area with a gelato stop! Close to numerous restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Clean spacious apartment. Comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay

Clean and comfortable. Loved the outside patio and breezy open windows with air conditioning for back up. Wonderful to come "home" after long days of sightseeing.

We loved our stay in this apartment. We were walkable to restaurants and some attractions and yet the neighbourhood was quiet and felt quite safe. We also enjoyed having the little balcony as a place to have our coffee in the morning. It worked very well for two couples. Marmi was a very helpful host and was quick to answer any questions we had.

Amazing location

Our family of 4 stayed at this quaint apartment and had a lovely stay. Beds were super comfy, outdoor area was great for breakfast and doing laundry. Great wifi as my husband had to work and our streaming sites worked great. 2 bathrooms with 2 showers was a game changer. Worth every penny

Lovely Stay

I took my son to Rome for his 18th bday in March. I didn't want to stay in a hotel for a variety of reasons, but one being price. The second, we wanted to have a kitchen and the experience of living like a local. We found the apt safe, large, and providing all we needed. I stayed in spring and used the heat a couple times. I was able to store my luggage in the AM until the 2pm check in time. I did have to use google translate to communicate with the checkin lady. The apartment is spacious and in a location near restaurants and the Colosseum. If you want piazza life, then stay elsewhere. Coffee nearby: Cafe Antica Roma. Excellent cappuccinos and pastries. Order your coffee and food, then pay. Gelato nearby: We preferred to walk further for gelato at Il di Constanza vs at the end of the street. You will walk a ton to see things other than the Colosseum. We opted to do Uber (selecting the taxi option), to see various areas because the 30-40 min walks were a but much after so many days. We selected the host's option for an airport transfer. Was efficient but a bit pricey compared to Uber's.

Fantsstic stay at Casa Lilli

I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We stayed for two weeks and it was a very comfortable home in a great location - a home away from home. Marmi was a terrific host.

Overall the property was great for our 2 couples. The apartment is on a quiet street, but just a few blocks from the Colosseum, which was great. We had a hickup with the guided tour booked by the host, but she rectified the issue to everyone's satisfaction. Would stay here again for sure. Ciao clean which is

Great Location in Rome

The apartment is only a few blocks from the Colosseum yet it is located on a street that is relatively quiet. It was a great launching point for our days in Rome. Marmi, the host, arranged for a car from the train station and greeted us upon arrival at the apartment. She is very personable and was very responsive to any questions we had (both while we were there and in advance of our stay). The pictures of the apartment in the listing give you a good idea of the apartment. There is also a patio that gives you an outdoor space. It's a great spot in Rome to stay. The only issue we had was that an adjacent apartment was undergoing a rehab so there was construction noise on the weekdays, but we weren't at the apartment much in the daytime anyway. You might want to check with Marmi on the status of that if you're planning to stay sometime soon. We highly recommend this apartment and thank Marmi for being such a good host.

So close to the Colosseum!

Marmi's home was perfect for our group of 4. Her home was quaint and tidy. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was conveniently located just a 3 minute walk from the Colosseum and within a 25 minute walk to Trevi fountain, Roman Forum, and many other amazing sites. Marmi made the check-in/out process smooth and easy. She also helped us book private tours that were great. Thank You Marmi. If we ever travel back to Rome we will stay with you again.

Amazing space!

Stunning apartment with antique decor, extremely clean, and great communication with host. You will never get a better location then this! Walking distance to every attraction, grocery store, and fantastic restaurants.

Excellent stay in Rome

Marmi is an excellent host. Location was great. The tour she arranged for us to go to the Vatican was superb. Our guide was excellent and well worth the money. Things to consider- the property only has AC in the bedrooms so we had to put a fan in the door to spread some of the cold air into the living room. Second- the clothes washer was broken from a previous tenant. I washed a few things in the sink and hung them to dry on the back porch. Remember to pack comfortable shoes! We averaged five miles a day walking this beautiful city!

What I love most about this neighborhood is its rich history and vibrant atmosphere. You can step right out of the front door and walk directly to the iconic Colosseum, where emperors once ruled the arena—it’s a breathtaking experience every time.

One of the best things about this area is its proximity to many of Rome’s most famous sites. You’re within walking distance of landmarks like the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Basilica of San Giovanni, all while being just far enough from the city’s chaos to enjoy a more relaxed, local atmosphere. It truly feels like the heart of Rome, but with a peaceful charm that allows you to experience the authentic side of the city.

You can also escape to Villa Celimontana, a hidden gem of a park where locals unwind in nature. O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

From the apartment one easily reaches the main Ancient Roman sites such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, Basilica San Clemente, and the Golden House of Nero just to name a few. There are banks, groceries, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, coffee shops, laundromat, market, pharmacy and parks all within walking distance from Casa Lilli. The metro, bus stop and taxi stands are just 3 to 5 minutes walk. I chose the location to give our visitors the possibility to step out of the front door and walk straight to the Colosseum where the emperors once dominated the arena.
The neighborhood is great and safe surrounded by parks and yet CasaLilli is on a very quiet street!
