Great place for our little family of 4! The kids loved the bunk beds and all the room to play and have fun. The views are incredible and the house was very clean and organized. The only problem we had was finding the place as google maps takes you to a completely different house. We arrived after dark so it was tricky trying to figure out where to go. The building itself does not clearly state the address so

It was clean, quiet, and management was very responsive. There were a few irregularities. The ping pong table pictured was not available and a few niceties that most places have were not there (salt, pepper, oil, a day or two of coffee).All in all we had a great time.

Perfect crash pad

Two families skied 3 days and stayed 2 nights. Perfect ski in ski out. Unit is fine. Outdated a bit, but gets the job done. If skiing is your focus this place is great!

This condo is in a perfect location for ski-in-ski out. The views were beautiful, condo was warm and cozy. Management was responsive to inquiries and needs. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Spacious place on a mountain

Great location, lots of room in this unit. However, be warned that in the summer time it is incredibly hot, there is no good ventilation in the house and main windows do not open up. The place gets really stuffy.

Great location

The location of this condo at these prices made for a great weekend. The condo hasnā€™t been touched since the 80ā€™s and could use a remodel. My main gripe is that there is no access to the garage which Means you donā€™t have anywhere to store your ski gear. Other than that it was well stocked with supplies and a great location.

Location good for ski-in/ski-out. Comfortable space. Decor is a bit dated but that's not a big deal. Appliances also dated, which is worse: burner out on electric stove; dishwasher does not clean dishes well and is quite loud (lots of not especially clean dishes in cupboards); microwave is reportedly slated for replacement.

Brilliant location, needs some maintenance, left a list for the manager. Very cold while we were there -25C so heating system struggled with out the wood for fireplace . Would appreciate a better communication process with manager. Would love to stay again.

Easy ski in, ski out

The pictures are nicer than the actual condition of the condo. When you get over that initial reaction, youā€™ll be happy you booked this place - at least we were The condo is quite roomy and at a super easy ski in ski out location. We would stay here again When you try to find the place donā€™t trust your GPS, it will guide you to an address on the same straat but higher on the mountain Before arriving, stock up on groceries in Sandpoint, as there is no grocery store on the mountain

Great place would highly recommend!

Our family of 5 had an amazing time at this condo at Schweitzer! It is spacious, clean, and very comfortable! The access to the village and skiing slopes was perfect right out the front door was awesome! We walked to the village one evening for dinner and skied to the condo for lunch! The view was beautiful!! It was nice to have a garage and access to a washer and dryer for wet ski clothes. There only a few minor issues with the place...the hot water runs out quickly, the master door doesnā€™t close, the 2nd bedroom blinds were broken, and there was no salt and pepper for our eggs :) we definitely plan to come again!!

The view was great. The furniture was uncomfortable, broken down and out dated. Back window and patio door would not lock. In the bathrooms there was mold and wall paper peeling. Stayed here for the ski in ski out feature. For the cost I would expect better. Needs a remodel update.

Excellent location and value for a group of five guys

Overall this property worked great as a ski pad for a weekend ski trip for a group of guys. As long as the bulk of the group are good with twin bunks in a cozy room together then itā€™s all good. One guy paid a bit more to sleep in the master bed. The pros for this place is spaciousness of the main living area, large smart TV, good kitchen and dining space, and two bathroooms with showers. As well the locked area next to the garage for storage and drying out of gear was great. The biggest con is the sofa in the common area, which is utter rubbish and should be burned immediately. It was beyond uncomfortable to sit on. I would plead with the owners to please invest a little bit of there rental income on a replacement. Itā€™s also worth noting that while skiing in and out and getting to the village on skis is easy and. Invenient, that once youā€™re out of your ski/board gear at the end of the day, you will probably want to drive to the village and park in a closer lot. Other than the very earnest and truthful note about that awful couch, this place was totally fine and and excellent value for either a guys/girls time together on the mountain or for a couple with a bunch of kids.

The property photos were not all current. Thankfully, most of the furniture in the dining and living rooms have been updated to be more guest-friendly. The tube television has been replaced with a flat-panel TV, and the small fragile-looking glass dining table has been replaced with a very large, solid, and sturdy wooden table. Two of the four pictured dining room chairs and the living room coffee-table are still there, but everything else in the LR and DR is changed. All the changes, including the new sofa and recliner, were welcomed surprises. Also, we were pleased to realize that the carpet in the main bath and in the dining room/kitchen has been changed to easy-clean wood-look laminate flooring. We were also pleased to find that the living room and bedroom carpets appeared to be a darker and more livable than in the pictures. We are hoping that the window treatments will be updated next as some were broken and others seemed to be missing. The beds were very uncomfortable for our guests. One of them ended up using an air mattress instead. Lastly, we were disappointed that the pictured ping-pong table was apparently not available for our use. Overall, the condo was very clean, and our stay was pleasant. Being on the first level up made loading and unloading easy. Of course, the views of the village and lake were fabulous. Since our stay was in June, the unexpected surprise of seeing snow falling was a fun vacation plus.

POSITIVE: - Location & View - plenty of space NEGATIVE: - Check in process is confusing and very difficult. If you arrive here after dark good luck to you. it's a joke. - Cave-Man Chic - everything inside is neo bachelor pad / frat-boy heaven. The greasiest couch and man-spreader recliner you've ever seen. My whole party sat on the floor rather than the junky furniture. - Broken Fridge - with a crude note taped to it - Peeling paint & moldy showers Despite all that, we mostly liked this place. It has a killer location. But the interior desperately needs investment. New furniture is urgent. Total remodel is really necessary. If you want a clean, updated place keep browsing. But if you're a mouth-breathing cave-man, frat-boy SKIIER (like me) who cares, it's perfect.

Great place on the mountain - true ski-in/ski-out

Overall the place was great, and worked well for our family. It was comfortable and clean, the kitchen was pretty well equipped (we cook a lot), had plenty of beds, and you couldn't ask for a better location. I've seen some reviews suggesting that the place is shabby, but that's just not true. It's not luxury, if that's what you're looking for, it's just a little dated. Furniture is a little worn, but quite comfortable. The only problem we found was that the fridge wasn't working (though the freezer was). There was a second small fridge in the kitchen, so maybe this was already known? If so, it would have been nice to have a warning since some of our food spoiled as a result. We let the property managers know, so we're guessing it will be fixed. We highly recommend this unit for a great stay at Schweitzer!

Location of this condo is fantastic, just upslope from base of ski area, amazing down valley view of the lake, and that is where the compliments will stop. The homeowner appears to have made the decision to get as much out of an investment without putting any money towards improvements or basic maintenance. Furniture throughout is more than vintage, itā€™s just downright old and junky! Until this owner makes a conscious effort to invest to bring standards up to at least par, I would opt for another lodging option.
