Charming Historic Guest House in the Heart of Town

Step back in time in this charming, 1-bedroom, 1 bath Guest Cottage, part of a 200- year-old property in the heart of Historic Georgetown, SC. The recently restored guest cottage is situated in a private gated courtyard that includes a fountain spilling over into a Koi pond, an outdoor fireplace and a large outdoor dining area. Inside the cottage guests will find a spacious living area, a separate bedroom with a luxuriously appointed queen bed. a kitchenette and a private bath.

It's located just one block from the historic waterfront. Take a walk along the boardwalk and watch the fishing boats come in or spend the day shopping in the quaint historic village and enjoy fresh local seafood at the many wonderful restaurants. The guest cottage was recently remodeled and has a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Guests will enjoy the first morning's breakfast of fruit, yogurt homemade muffins, coffee and juice. Free high speed WiFi and a 60' flat screen TV with premium cable are available if you'd like to stay plugged in. A hammock is available in the back yard if you'd rather not.

"A great little cottage, very nicely appointed. The setting is the kind of gorgeous you only get in the live oaks, gardens, fountains, ferns and bright sunshine. The patio outside the cottage is quite beautiful, something you can't really get from the photos. Julie and her husband were excellent hosts, attending to every need, offering guidance on local food and even helping with beach access. We were privileged to be the first guests in this cottage, and it's highly recommended for all who may follow. Thanks Julie!"

We really enjoyed the location, as we could walk just a few beautiful blocks with old homes and live oaks covered in resurrection ferns. The owners were super nice and the place met all of our needs. We would stay there again for sure!

The cottage was a perfect accommodation for the two of us. Quiet and private access to outside sitting area that is very well maintained and most inviting. Julie and her husband are very accommodating and gracious host.

The cutest cottage ever!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was so beautifully decorated and the hosts were welcoming and accommodating. It was in walking distance to shops, dining and the Harbor walk. The neighborhood was gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around and seeing all the historical homes. The hosts definitely have the hospitality gift and we appreciate them sharing their place with us. Oh and the bed...the best sleep I have had in years. Thank you so much for a wonderful getaway.

Don’t hesitate, just book it!

The owners have taken great care in planning your stay. All the way down to breakfast the next morning and wonderful soft playing jazz music when you arrive. The owners have carefully thought of everything you may need. It was truly a lovely place!

The sweetest coach house on an unbelievable property

Wonderful hosts! Cottage looks even better in person. Lots of nice touches, plentiful coffee (and treats). So close to historic Front Street and walkable to everything. We truly enjoyed our stay. Graham and Julie are great! We hope to be back.

Perfect, quaint spot!

I am a local who had a friend in town for a wedding. We wanted somewhere we could "unplug" and just catch up and hang out. This spot was perfect. We were close enough to Front street to have brunch (Blue Bayou Bistro never disappoints!). The beds are comfy and shower is fabulous. Cute and Cozy

We had a great time staying at the Guest House while we were in town for a wedding. It was so cozy and fitted with every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay, including muffins and fresh fruit for our first morning's breakfast. The neighborhood is beautiful and it is only a few blocks from the main street so we were able to walk to breakfast on our second morning. Overall a great place to stay!

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful trip and the accommodations exceeded our expectations in every way. The cottage was spotless, well appointed and just a very short walk to the historic district. The host were amazing and made sure everything was perfect for the entire stay. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Georgetown.

Adorable little abode!

This is a conveniently located suite in the backyard of the host's home. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. A couple of times the host came into the cabin when I think they thought we weren't there. I mainly think that has to do with the fact that we were somewhat of a late booking and they were trying to bring things to the suite that they forgot to place earlier. Otherwise, a great stay. They had snacks and drinks waiting for us as well.

Wonderful location!

We were very impressed with this cottage. It was perfectly located - just about 1 block from the waterfront area. A breakfast of muffins and yogurt and fruit and juice was provided for our first morning. There was so much attention to detail. This is a lovely home and we hope to come again sometime. Georgetown is such a charming little harbor town.

Fall wedding weekend

We were in town for a family wedding. This location was perfect for walking into town and strolling under beautiful moss-draped oaks. Georgetown is so charming! We ran into our friendly hosts in town grabbing lunch. The weekend was a lovely glimpse of small town life!

We love living on the coast of South Carolina. We fell in love with Georgetown 8 years ago and decided to make it our permanent home. We enjoy taking long walks and walking to the many restaurants and shops in the historic downtown. Georgetown is a friendly, welcoming place to be, and we are happy to share our newly renovated home and guest house with others.

Georgetown is a beautiful, friendly, walking community, rich in history that offers an abundance of interesting activities. There are boat tours, historic trolley tours and walking tours that offer a glimpse into the south's rich history and truly unique experiences for visitors.

You can enjoy the morning shopping in town, then pop over the bridge for an afternoon on the beach. Cap your day off with drinks overlooking the water followed by a delicious dinner at one of our many local restaurants. "Fresh catch" takes on a whole new meaning in our seafood restaurants.
