ATV and UTV friendly. Access to trails directly from the Retreat. Full gourmet kitchen , 2- 25 cu. ft refrigerators. with ice makers and water , gas range, microwave, Hickory cabinets, dishwasher, full laundry facilities , seating 16 for dinner @ our 1880 era barn beam kitchen table/ island. Gas freestanding fireplace, and Big screen TV. Upper loft with log rails overlook the large living room with new furniture to relax on in 2023. Relax in the 8 person adult only hot tub out on the covered back patio along with a camp fire pit, large gas grill and patio set for entertaining guests. Covered 50' long front porch with over sized rocking chairs. For 2025 - all new beds in the Retreat- Therapedic Pillowtop Mattresses. All bedrooms have 2 beds, luggage racks, log night stands with drawers, mirror, ceiling fans, upper loft has heaters with thermostats , ceiling fans, insulated Bali blinds, outlets above night stands to plug in cell phones etc. The first level has Radiant Infloor Heat. Air conditioning units added for additional guest comfort. On demand hot water available 24 - 7, so you never run out of hot water.
For crafting, quilting, photography, artist or other business retreats, we have 14 six foot tables (6' by 2.5' dimension) and 14 roller chairs. We can accommodate various set ups in the 26' by 40' main room. Bring your group and we will make your retreat a memorable experience.

Troy & Janeen offer a wonderful home, with all the amenities. Very clean & spacuious,accommodated 8 adults comfortably. UTV trails were nearby with excellent trails. Plenty of establishments to enjoy . Nice area !

Spectacular location & beautiful property.

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is one of our favorites. There are so many rooms and beds in this property that everyone was able to spread out and feel extremely comfortable throughout our stay. We were a group of 11 that came to ATV the trails and go white water rafting in Niagara. The driveway is massive and can accomodate several vehicles and trailers. The trails are a short 5 minute ATV ride to a connecting trail. The trails here were AWESOME! Very little gravel. A lot of sand, but it was super wet when we were there, so we got plenty dirty riding. The white water rafting with Wildman was an adventure everyone should check off their bucket list. It was so fun. Enjoyed all aspects of our stay, to include the property. The property owners were great as well.

Great Family Experience

This was a great cabin for our extended family vacation! We had a total of 18 people and had more than enough room. The cabin is well kept and clean. We loved the paved patio, the clean hot tub, and the almost sound proof walls! Some down sides: even though the cabin can easily sleep 20+ it's rated on 14 guests and we had to pay extra. The listing states 4pm check-in, but we were told we couldn't check in until 6pm. If more time is needed for cleaning between guests, the listing should be updated and/or we should have had a discount for the first night. The owners live next door, which was both pro and con. It was nice having them close when we had any questions or needed anything. However, at times it felt like an impediment on our privacy as guests since they could watch us outside and in the hot tub from there house. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful. Amazing. Must visit! This place was so beautiful! The communication was super good between us and owners. Property is so pretty, had everything you needed, and super clean!! Our family was overly impressed and would come back in a heartbeat!!

Multi Generation Family

The property was very clean and bigger than the photo's appear. Plenty of room for all 9 adults and 4 small kids. Loved having two refrigerators! Owners are right next door if you need anything so easy to get a hold of. They did come over to check on us to make sure the air temp was comfortable. Would recommend for large groups.

Awesome place

We had a group of 14 for an extended weekend utv ride. Proximity to the trails is fairly close via local road routes and the house is set up perfectly for a large group. Very clean and the host was very easy to deal with.

Memorial Day weekend get together

Property is everything you could want for a large group. We had 7 couples and there was more than enough room for everyone. The place was clean and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place to Stay!

Everyone in our group enjoyed the house. It was clean, big enough for everyone, 14 people, and had all the amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit and covered patio. The hosts were easy to work with. We were there on a UTV trip and able to ride right from the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway

This property was available both inside and out! We loved being able to spend our time together in both the inside and outside as a full group in such an open space! It was nice as a parent that you could always have eyes on your little ones no matter where you were in the house or outside. The owners were super friendly, accommodating and you can tell they take great care of their property. They have everything you can imagine stocked for the bathrooms and kitchen! Overall a GREAT stay and we are already trying to coordinate for another family extended weekend next year!

Great house

Our Grandfather has property down the street from this location and as our family has grown we have outgrown our family cabin. This place accommodated our family very nicely. The patio was great when we had a rainy day and have two refrigerators with two families makes a huge difference. We will be renting this place again for our family vacation next year

Perfect gathering space

This place exceeded our expectations. The space is perfect for large groups who want to connect but also have the opportunity to be quiet. The kids were able to go to bed early and the adults were able to gather around the fire and the outdoor table without disturbing anyone. the bedrooms are ample and well equipped with outlets and fans. The cel service in the area is spotty but the internet was good. There are several waterfalls nearby that we visited and were kid friendly. The property is gorgeous - we saw horses during the day and were able to hear wolves howling at night. The place is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/ pans and dishes. The owners are next door and stopped by to greet us and answered all of our questions quickly. I would highly recommend!

8 Siblings Together!!

The Silver Cliff fit our needs perfectly!! We had enough beds and space to feel relaxed and welcome. My seven siblings plus spouses and I were able to easily gather, make meals and eat with ample space and accommodations. We loved sitting around the fire ring at night laughing and talking. Having two refrigerators really helped us with food and beverages. The fans and keeping the shades down really helped with keeping us comfortable temperature wise. Every inch was clean and tiny with ample space to feel at ease.

Great Cabin!!

Our family had a great time here! With 7 bedrooms, we loved that every couple could have their own space. The kitchen is large and we spent all weekend surrounding the island cooking and catching up. We had everything that we needed and loved all of the space. The hot tub was a great amenity to have. I would highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Cozy, large house but very strict owners.

We really loved the house and the backyard! Would love to be able to enjoy it more in warmer weather. This house is great for large groups, I imagine a family reunion/gathering would be fun here! The house felt even cozier than it appeared in pictures and was very clean. The only downside was that owners are extremely strict and a bit rude in their communication. There are pages and pages of over the top rules. For example, leave the blind open 3 inches. They also came peaking in the windows hours before checkout and called us multiple times to make sure we would be out on time which was not necessary.

Carpenter/ Contractor. Lived here since 2000. Building since 1982. We have 3 horses Blackie, Dakota and Dee. We enjoy riding our horses in the Marinette county forest. (Troy) I am from Sussex Wi. (born and raised ) Janeen is originally from Cleveland North Dakota. She grew up on a dairy farm.

We designed this for YOU !!! We made it so you could enjoy what we have everday here in the northwoods. Its peaceful, quiet , serene. Lots of birds singing. Deer and turkeys abound. And also the occasional bear. You can see them in the horse pastures toward evening if your watching, or sitting out on the back patio !! (MAYBE WHILE IN THE HOT TUB) Or enjoy watching the wildlife from the front porch rocker while enjoying your morning coffee.
