ISLAND COVE on beautiful Sage Lake

This beautiful lake front property has so much to offer. With stunning lake views out every window to the sandy beach with lake side fire pit and outdoor brick paver patio and BBQ it truly is a northern Michigan paradise with kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat, pontoon boats and more!

This property is located in Hale MI on all sports Sage Lake. This property is surrounded by water with a land bridge and has lake views from every window in the house. With 4 bedrooms it offers enough sleeping space for 12+ people. This property can also be used to house guests from our other property at near by Zeron's Island also on Sage Lake. It has plenty of parking, nice outdoor patio and BBQ area, as well as a lake side fire pit area and sandy beach for swimming. We have a 2 person paddle pontoon boat, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and yard games like corn hole & ladder ball all for renter use as well an 4 different pontoon boats that we have as an option to rent at different prices. This lovely home has 4 queen size beds up stairs (3 in the big room upstairs that has two large walk in closets, & 1 in a separate sleeping areas upstairs), 3 sleeper sofas, and one king size bed in the master bedroom on the main level there is plenty of room to sleep. There is a nice size living room and dining room (table seats 4) on the main floor with a bar top (Sears 3) over looking into the kitchen as well as another living room area upstairs that has 2 sleeper sofas and a regular sofa that would be perfect for the kids to play and sleep in. The home has a full bathroom upstairs with tub and shower, a master bath with stand up shower and his & her sinks, and a 1/2 bath just off the kitchen. The large sandy beach in front side of property is great for building sand castles with the kids, swimming, or just sun tanning while you watch our beautiful water fountain. If all of that isn't enough to do we are only about 25 minutes from West Branch MI. The Rifle River is very close by (less than 10-15 minutes) for canoeing down the river and Green Briar 18 hole golf course within only a few minutes drive (less than 2 miles). This property has a lot to offer and is large enough for your big family or just a big groups of friends. Pontoon rental boats available all summer long and would be required to book for all reservations during peak season (End of May thru Mid September)

Guests have full access to every room in the house and the entire yard and beach as well as the large boat dock on back side of the property.

We have a 2020 Misty Harbor (23’) Pontoon with sun canopy and swim ladder rents for $300 per night or $1,600 a week and seats 12-14 people


2014 Misty Harbor Pontoon (10-12 person) with canopy and swim ladder rents for $250 per night or $1,250 for the week.


1988 Harris Pontoon (Completed refurbished 5 years ago) has no sun canopy or swim ladder (12 person) and rents for $200 per night or $950 per week.

We have two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards, 2 person paddle pontoon boat, and yard games like corn hole and ladder ball all for guest use. There is a nice large brick paver patio with new patio furniture and a BBQ grill. There is plenty of grass yard area for tossing around the football or playing with the frisbee. This property has some of the best views on the lake and plenty to do.

I am always available to reach by phone, text, or email. We don't meet with the guests but leave the keys or give front door code to renters before arrival. We do have a care taker that lives nearby if our guests need anything from fresh towels to clean linens. Our customer & guests services are top notch and someone is always available for any problems or questions any guests may have.

Our street and area is all lake front cabins and homes that have some of the nicest people. They are totally ok with us renting to out of towners and are very welcoming to our renters. Most of the locals are up for the weekends or holidays and are there to enjoy the lake and all of the same activities our renters are so it is certainly a wonderful area to be in northern MI during the summer time.

No. We have the boat rentals to get around on the lake and there is a bar/restaurant that is usually open on the weekends and during the busy times that has great food and is a local hang out with a very cool back round story and history to the place. It's called Kenyon's Resort. They also sell gasoline on the water for boats to refill conveniently.

We also own near by Zeron's Private Island on Sage Lake that sleeps 10+ people and has some of the most amazing views of around the lake and has all the amenities as any other cabin would. It is run completely on solar power but you would never know it so it is very peaceful and relaxing.
We expect all of our guests to act respectfully and as if this property was their own. We have yet to have any problems with neighbors or locals and want to keep it that way.

We do not do any check in/out days on a Saturday.

Must sign and return our rental agreements before booking is complete.

We have 3 different pontoon boats that are available between our two properties and for other people around the lake. We require a pontoon rental be booked for the duration of your stay even if you’re bringing a boat of your own. Ask about pricing as this will be an additional cost to the booking and must be figured out before a reservation can be accepted.

When booking in July we do not give a weekly discount for a week long rental.
