Oceanfront Suite - Ground Floor - Pool & Sauna!

Summary:

'You'e Got Whale' is what we call this stunning oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to four people by way of a queen size bed and a queen size pull-out, has two full bathrooms (1 walk-in shower!), an electric fireplace for ambiance and a full kitchen. If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!



The Space:

No. 115 is a ground-floor fireplace suite we call ā€œYouā€™ve Got Whale.ā€ Updated in February 2019, this condo sleeps four with a queen sofa-bed that folds away for more room in the oceanside suite. The master bedroom features a queen bed.



This condo got a complete makeover in 2019. The owner installed new hardwood flooring throughout the entire condo. A sophisticated, key-less entry prevents lockouts. Two full baths and a full kitchen compliment this deluxe living space. A new tiled walk-in shower and new vanity was installed in the bedroom bathroom this year.



Ā The oceanside suite features a new 50-inch SMART TV. Games and puzzles are provided for your entertainment. The condo was repainted in 2019 to give it more of a beachy feel.



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna.

Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool.



The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but weā€™re available on-site if you need anything.

The amenities were nice and the host was welcoming and attentive. The view was the absolute best and really made use of the decently stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows.

We enjoyed our little getaway at Sea Gypsy. Itā€™s always nice to go to the coast and stay in a cozy, clean condo. Management attended to our every need. It was a very nice and relaxing time.

You've Got Whale

This weekend was planned on a whim for my wife, who desperately wanted to find a float (we didn't, whomp, whomp). The location-directly on the beach, the size of our condo, and the two bathrooms set up were perfect. The bed and the pillows were so comfy, the place was clean when we arrived. If given the option to come back it would definitely be to stay at Sea Gypsy again.

Love being on the beach

Was a cute place right on the beach. Didn't get to use pool as not open till 9, then had issues of some sort. Otherwise had all things one would need especially the views and easy access to the beach which is my most important.

The condo was bright, clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a fun romantic anniversary celebration. Including wine glasses and corkscrew. I would definitely come back. We loved the decor and the bed was comfortable. The master shower was roomy and lovely. We enjoyed the salt water pool, sauna, and grills for our surf and turf celebration dinner. The view from the living area was amazing and the walk down to the sand easy. My only regret was not booking another night!

GREAT views - 10 out of 10The property was right on the water which was just what we were looking for to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We brought our 10 month old baby and it was great. The only downside to the property that was unexpected was the cleanliness. Some of the dishes were not clean and needed to be washed before we could use them. Also, there was residual sand from previous stays on the floor of the condo - under an ottoman, in the corner of rooms by furniture, etc. that was unfortunate. Some of the photos are no longer accurate with furniture being changed but that is not a dig on the property, just a heads up to others looking to book. Otherwise great stay and would come back!

A spacious condo on the beach.

This was a good stay. There was plenty of space, it was on the beach, and it includes everything you will need for your stay. The one downside that I will mention is the hide-a-bed in the living room is not comfortable for a full sized adult. With that being said there is plenty of clean bedding, sheets, and towels. My wife and I would be happy to stay again at this condo. It was great! Thank you.

Nice short vacation

The unit itself is fine. Small, but right on the beach with easy access. Unfortunately, we had very loud children stomping around upstairs and next door, but it was a short 2-night trip so it wasn't horrible. The kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. Pots/pans/cooking utensils are old and scarce. The unit appeared clean, however after walking around barefoot for a short time, my feet were very dirty - so the cleaners could do a better job there. Other than that, the unit is nice, location is great, and the communication from the property management team was awesome!

Not very clean

I know reviews are a huge deal and I don't like to share negative ones, but this was not great at all. Motel seems a bit run down and not clean. We completely understand the condo is on the ocean and would expect a little sand on the floor. However, we ended up purchasing a Swiffer, used a whole box of 20 pads to clean the floor we swept up twice first. The sheets for the very run down couch pull-out were not clean, dirt and smudges on them, I even hesitated letting my boys sleep there. There was an empty Mtn. Dew bottle by the couch along with a huge dark mucky spot under the couch that we scrubbed up. In the main bedroom, the sheets were not clean as there was a sea shell in between the sheets. I don't think the floor has been cleaned in quite some time. It was really dirty under the nightstands and bed. A tiny fan that was just gross, was provided for air circulation, which is needed. We ended up buying our own to use. I would submit photos if I could. Pretty disappointed in the cleanliness. The staff was very kind and offered cleaning services the following day, but we had already cleaned.

The main thing that I didn't like was, we took a shower in the bathroom off the bedroom, and there was HAIR on the wall. It was still there when we left. Also, the electrical outlet behind the couch, the cover was broken and off the plug. I don't think that is very safe. Other than that, we had a great time. I know the units are old, but it would seem like someone would clean the grout between the tile. Thank you

You've Got Whale

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Gypsy. We were there for two weeks so we had a lot of time walking the beach and hunting for treasures. I'm only giving 4 stars because we do quite a bit of cooking in the room and the kitchen was sadly lacking. The skillets were very scary as their handles were broken and the Teflon coating is wearing off. There was only one potholder that had seen better days and measuring utensils were scarce and broken. I don't expect top of the line in this type of situation but working order is needed. We had stayed in this unit before and the kitchen faucet was a problem. Thankfully that has been changed out and worked great! We love being just a few feet from the beach and have already made another reservation for October, but we will be trying another unit. We are looking forward to being back at the Sea Gypsy.

This was the dirtiest room we have ever been in. With a 3 day stay we brought our own food. Ended up eating out because the kitchen, plates, bowls,utensils, skillet and coffee pot was all dirty,I washed what I thought we would use but just couldn't eat there, have pictures to prove it. Grossed us out, especially because of Covid, we had to eat out, which wasn't our plan. Look above the ceiling fan. Dirty black cobwebs on the ceiling, so they have been there for a while. Long hair on the bedroom toilet. The molding on the floor in the kitchen is coming off and the filth down there is so gross. I have pictures of all this if you would like to see. Having to pay a $65.00 cleaning fee the room should have been clean. I am really surprised others have not reported this to you.Other then all this it was the perfect location for us as we came over to metal detect.

We had a wonderful 2-week stay! You've Got Whale is a great room and we were very comfortable there. The only maintenance issue would be the kitchen faucet. It's very difficult to manipulate especially with older hands and really should be replaced. We hope to return soon!

The location and view is great, the condo is a wee bit sad

This was our 5th stay at the Sea Gypsy over many years. We love the location, with its great views and beach access, and its great to have a separate bedroom and living space, and a kitchen. We found unit 115 to be a little sad in its fittings, particularly the kitchen. A low end electric stove, which did work better once I re-seated the burner coils. The kitchen sink is flimsy, to the extent that every time the faucet handle is used, it pulls on the sink base. The cookware was similarly limited, just barely adequate. Frying pans about to lose their handles, lids that almost fit pans, etc. I was also disappointed that there weren't any containers suitable for storing leftovers, nor foil nor plastic bags, or napkins. There was pepper in a shaker, and the salt was empty. No other condiments such as oil or other spices. I understand that covid may have limited some of these "amenities", but given that covid also has most of us cooking in or eating carry out, some of these would be truly useful. Knives were also so dull as to be dangerous. I did let the office know some of these things and they were receptive. We still enjoyed our stay, and we won't take 115 again if we have a choice (we were limited to a ground floor unit because of my partner's health issues)

Where to start...arrived to sand all over all floors. The heated pool had a broken heater to might as well of swam in the ocean. They did offer to send someone to sweep but pretty sure that should have been done before I arrived...and apologized for the cold pool. I would suggest a curved curtain rod so the shower curtain doesn't try to attack you...who knows what kind of germs are on there. You might also think of improving the quality of your toilet paper. Your ocean views are awesome.

Condo on the Ocean

Condo was clean and as pictured in ad. We were disappointed that it didn't have a dishwasher. Since my wife had hip replacement surgery we were happy to have a walk in shower for her.

Once again I had an enjoyable stay at Sea Gypsy. This time I tried a different unit. You've Got Whale is a comfortable ā€œbeachy-keenā€ place to relax. My only suggestions are to replace the bed (way too soft and saggy) and a new toaster. I will definitely stay at Sea Gypsy the next time I come to Lincoln City.
