There's plenty of room for your family to spread out in the four levels of living space; there are 2 full kitchens and 2 living areas as well as a rec room with pool table den with wet bar.

'Cloud Nine' is in the perfect location in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Close to fine dining, shopping and attractions. Close to Roanoke Island, home to The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, NC Aquarium and Kill Devil Hills, sight of the First Flight and the Wright Brothers Memorial. Also just minutes from Jockey's Ridge. Visitors can climb to the top, fly kites and hang glide from this unforgettable sand dune formed by Mother Nature.

2022 Family Reunion

This house was very accommodating and comfortable for our large group. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the easy access to the beach. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Thank you for the high chair!! Recommended actions include beach and/or soccer chairs and at least one umbrella. We loved the area and the home. Thank you!!

Large Family Every Other Year Vaca!

The home itself exceeded our expectations based on description and pictures; No floor plan available. Beach Reality was very responsive to our questions. We would not hesitate to rent this home again! Great location and easy/safe walk to the beach!

Great, Quiet Week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great week at Cloud Nine. Given the pandemic we had a smaller party than anticipated and the house felt extremely roomy. Having access to a pool table, hot tub, and plenty of TV's for video game playing was nice during the off-season cold weather. I will say there are some maintenance issues with the house that would be nice if they were addressed. Specifically, there are many light bulbs out, jet tub jets not working, non-working or very loud bathroom fans, some very creaky beds, and the Wi-Fi really only covered two of the four floors.

Thanksgiving Family Fun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is HUGE! It has 7 king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms that were perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space. The top floor has an "apartment" with 3 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen, and it's own family room. The main kitchen (altogether it has 3!) was stocked with everything you might need. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had plenty of plates and serving dishes. Though the house isn't as updated as some we have stayed in, it was clean and comfortable. It's close to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. In order to get to the beach you need to cross a (somewhat) busy road--but it's a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place for a family reunion!

The beach is probably a 3 minute walk away and easily accessible. It's nice that there is a lifeguard on the beach. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. Maybe a few more sturdy chairs could be added. The plastic chairs would turn over when it was windy. We were close to many restaurants (very crowded at night though) Publix and Food Lion for your shopping needs. The main kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking equipment. The bottom refrigerator was missing shelves but we used it for drinks. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Cloud nine visit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the third time we have stayed in this property with family and friends from all over. We had a great time a the house and it is close to the beach access. However we were not able to use 1/3 of the space which caused us to put very young children in rooms by themselves. When we reset the thermostats the third floor would not cool. I followed the app and tried to watch the troubleshooting videos they would not load. I called the number 3 times with no answer and completed a fix it form with no response. One third of the property was too hot to use. Last time there were issues and they were handled the same day. I will probably think twice about your property again if this is now how maintenance is handled.The floors needed a good mopping and it would be nice to have glass cleaner for the glass tables. We did enjoy this property and the location is convenient. I was disappointed this time with the lack of response from the rental company to major maintenance issues.

The right price, but house needs serious upkeep and cleaning.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 8 bedroom home was spacious for my family of 17, but it is showing its age. We enjoyed our stay and loved the location one block from the beach. The pool got used a lot, and we appreciated the mid-week cleaning. There is plenty of dishes and silverware, but not well organized. The housekeeping could do a better job cleaning the toilet bowels in the half-baths. The gas grill has a broken wheel, is rusting badly and needs to be replaced. The dryer knob was stripped and required a plyers to turn it. The pool light became dislodged and was found at the bottom of pool. The posted spa rules conflict with what the management company told me (unsupervised use by children is prohibited vs. no one under 18 allowed in hot tub). The amenities need to be updated to include a keurig machine, blender, and corn hole boards. We brought all 3 because it is not displayed on website. The pool table needs a thorough cleaning and ball returns need to be fixed. Main kitchen, dining, and family room is on level 3 (of 4) requiring a lot of stair climbing - not recommended for older people with knee and/or hip problems. You get small glimpses of the ocean if you look close. Spend the extra money for a newer and better maintained house.

Nice location, great customer service, dirty worn out house

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Cloud Nine in September 2022, mainly because of the convenient location and the great customer service provided by Beach Realty. The house is getting worn out with dirty/stained carpet, banged up woodwork, large gaps under exterior doors, and a dining room table that has a finish that is sticky no matter what you clean it with. For the price paid there are better options and we won’t be staying at Cloud Nine again, unless they remodel and update it.

Fantastic, clean, as advertised, great location and great management company

We had 25 people and had plenty of room although a lot of kids had to double up with n beds. great layout, everyone appreciated all the bathrooms. The pictures accurately reflected the property. The management company wanted me to download an extra app. Awesome location.

This was a great house for the 24 of us! The ice machine is CLUTCH! In addition, there are 3 refrigerators and 2 stoves in the house, which allowed for one major shopping trip for each family. Also, there is a kuerig in the main kitchen which was great. We really enjoyed the house and our vacation!

Absolutely great! Group of 24 (mostly kids) and didn’t feel cramped at all.

Plenty of space for everyone. I would recommended larger kitchen items for a house that sleeps this many people. Example cutting board and frying pan. But that’s not a big deal on my book. Read the reviews and brought my own 😉. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Week at the Outer Banks

Great location- Washer was an issue as knob was broken but they came right out and repaired it temporarily and ordered a new part. Very responsive but did have to go to laundromat as knob broke again-, but I feel it was not any issue to complain about. All in all wonderful!!!!!

Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, we did have some maintenance issues but they were resolved quickly. The internet did not work well so the kids weren't happy with that. The street is busy and its a bit of a walk to get to the beach. Overall the house fit us all (22) perfectly. The pool and jacuzzi were great.

Loved the house and location

Great house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this property, plenty of room and a great layout. Kitchen needs to be stocked better—no baking sheets, only 2 small frying pans, no storage containers with lids, only a tiny cutting board. This house sleeps a ton and the size of the cooking equipment should reflect that. Our grill wasn’t working and that was replaced promptly. Fenced in yard was awesome for pups! We would come back!

Cloud 9 is perfect name!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed staying at Cloud 9 for 3 nights and 2 full days. Found the house Very clean and ready for guest!! Other than a few bulbs out, everything worked great and made for a very enjoyable weekend vacation for my family. Hope to be back around the same time next year and definitely hope to get this house. 5 stars!!
