⭐Chateau de Scandaillac 10 Bedroom 13th Cen. Castle

Step across the drawbridge into the 13th century and experience what it was like to live as a one of France's nobility. Château de Scandaillac is the closest thing to living in the middle ages with the modern comforts of the present.

Château de Scandaillac has 10 ensuite bedrooms each uniquely decorated with antique wardrobes, chairs and tables. 6 bedrooms have beds fit for a queen (queen sized beds). One room has a 4 poster king sized bed adjoining with another bedroom with 3 single beds. There is also another king sized bed adjoining with another bedroom with 2 single beds. These rooms are ideal for a family with children. All the rooms are equipped with a safe, mini fridge, coffee maker and hot water. The stone walls and exposed beams is what gives each of these bedrooms its charm. The bathrooms all have a shower, toilet and sink with your very own bathrobes and towels. Four of the bathrooms come equipped with a bath.

The large heated private pool is a perfect spot to unwind on a bright sunny day. Whether its from inside the pool, cushioned deck chair or dining table where you can dine al fresco with views of the hilly countryside reaching out to the horizon. If the weather outside is unfavorable then inside is a nice lounge area with large couch seating next to a fire place and flat screen TV. There is also a pool table where you and your compatriots can determine who is the king of pool.

In the mornings a breakfast buffet is at your disposal serving fresh local fruits, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, jams and bread. Enjoy these French delicacies in you very own dining hall on the antique wooden tables and chairs befitting of French aristocracy or by the pool with the hills as your backdrop. Dinner is also available on reservation in the same dining areas. The kitchen has been modernized with all the equipment needed to make a great meal.

This Castle is very private. Taking a walk on around the property can be very stimulating with your very own courtyard and 400 sqm terrace that views green landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see. From the large balcony on the second floor you can have a better view of the landscape which is equipped with cushioned deck chairs and dining table.

A beautiful medieval village is located 5km away. For the more adventurous and sporty tennis courts, horse riding and a golf course is a shorts drive away.
